Rivals250 Update: Ten prospects who could rise with a big June
Through camps, Elite 11, the Rivals Five-Star, OT7 finals and so much more, June is going to be a massive evaluation period. Rivals just released its new rankings and many more changes could be coming. Here are 10 prospects who can move up through a big June. Advertisement NEW 2026 RIVALS250: Ranking | Biggest storylines CLASS OF 2026 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State CLASS OF 2027 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State TRANSFER PORTAL: Full coverage | Player ranking | Team ranking | Transfer search | Transfer Tracker RIVALS CAMP SERIES: Rivals Five-Star heading back to Indy | Rivals Five-Star roster | Schedule/info Duckworth is already ranked as the seventh-best quarterback in the class and one notch from five-star status but we're going to see him at two massive events in June and that could determine whether he'll become a five-star quarterback or not. Advertisement The Jackson, Ala., standout, who is highest on Ole Miss but has Auburn, South Carolina and others after him, will be at the Elite 11 and then the Rivals Five-Star and we'll see if he should be even higher. The four-star Arizona State quarterback commit is from El Paso (Texas) Del Valle and hasn't really been on the national circuit much but he has outstanding film. After his pledge to the Sun Devils, a bunch of SEC teams, including LSU and Auburn, came through with offers but Fette has been steadfast sticking with Arizona State. He'll be at the Elite 11 to compare himself against some of the nation's best and his arm talent and athletic playmaking ability is on full display on film. Advertisement Ranked No. 106 nationally, Fette is moving up but maybe not enough yet. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH ARIZONA STATE FANS AT There are already four five-star receivers in the 2026 class, which is a healthy number but all of them are bigger, outside prospects. The way NFL Draft trends are going, the shiftier, smaller slot guys are more in demand. That means if the Tennessee commit from Knoxville (Tenn.) Catholic has a huge showing at the Rivals Five-Star this summer then he'll be in five-star consideration for sure. The top three slot receivers – King, Vance Spafford and CJ Sadler – are all expected in Indianapolis so game on. Advertisement SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH TENNESSEE FANS AT Ponatoski is one of the most interesting prospects in the 2026 class because he is a legitimate two-sport star in football and baseball, and that is going to play a major impact on his recruitment. The Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller standout also won basically every award given to Ohio football players last season and he's also really taking his time with his recruitment. A big visit to Oregon is planned for later this month with Alabama, Wake Forest, Kentucky, Texas A&M and others involved. If he blows up at the Elite 11, Ponatoski has all the ability to move even higher inside the Rivals250. The four-star USC running back commit has crept into the back end of the Rivals250 but if rankings were based on only speed, Redeaux would be toward the top of this list. That consideration has come more into focus after some impressive performances this offseason and if he turns it up even more at the Rivals Five-Star this summer, the Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian standout could move up quickly. Advertisement His speed and all-purpose capabilities whether running the ball or catching it out of the backfield are dynamic. The Downey, Calif., four-star is just outside the Rivals250 but a big performance at the Elite 11 in a few weeks will back up some outstanding performances and move him even higher on the list. Rios is still lean and does need to add some mass to handle college defensive ends coming for him off the edge but in terms of dynamic passing ability and the ball popping off his hand, Rios has been really impressive at recent events. Arizona is a front-runner with UCLA, Kentucky and Oklahoma State standing out most. Ranked No. 207 nationally, Scruggs has put together some really impressive performances this offseason and if he backs it up again against national competition at the Rivals Five-Star then he could be in line for a very quick move up the rankings. Advertisement Clemson could have the edge over Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma and Penn State so the offers are there, the tape is there and now in-person evaluations are there for Scruggs to go much higher into the Rivals250. A four-star just inside the new Rivals250, Thomalla is committed to Iowa State but took a visit to Alabama over the weekend as the Crimson Tide look to flip him. Not only is the Omaha (Neb.) Millard South quarterback an elite playmaker on the football field but his dunking ability on the basketball court speaks to high-level athleticism that shouldn't be ignored. At the very least, Thomalla should be heavily considered to move up, especially if he shows out at the upcoming Elite 11. Advertisement SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH ALABAMA FANS AT One of the prospects I'm most excited to see at the Rivals Five-Star this summer is Wise because he hasn't done many national events at all and so many people in the Panhandle of Florida talk about how gifted he is. Clemson landed his commitment in March and while there are no five-star interior offensive linemen (Lamar Brown was moved to athlete because he could play both ways and Darius Gray is a tempting consideration) Wise could get into that discussion with a dominant performance in Indy. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH CLEMSON FANS AT The Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic quarterback committed to Washington in April and he's remained a low three-star prospect which is curious because coach Jedd Fisch definitely can identify top players at that position and then develop them. Advertisement Zammit does a nice job throwing on the run, escaping pressure, throwing into tight windows and he was a stat stuffer in his junior season. A big performance at the Elite 11 could catapult him up the rankings. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH WASHINGTON FANS AT

And one of their most recent commitments is seeing his stock rise as the months go on. As his recruitment has gone on, Burgess has improved and he's now on his way to one of the top quarterback competitions in the country. Burgess was one of 20 quarterbacks named a finalist for the Elite 11, a competition in Los Angeles that pits the top quarterback recruits in the country against each other. At the end an MVP will be award as well the top 10 finalists. As a junior, Burgess completed 60 percent of his passes for 2,225 yards and 23 touchdowns. He had just four interceptions on the year. Auburn QB target headed to Elite 11 finals
Auburn QB target headed to Elite 11 finals Landon Duckworth will compete in the prestigious event this summer in California. One of the top targets on Auburn's 2026 recruiting board will compete in a prestigious event this summer. Landon Duckworth, a four-star quarterback from Jackson High School in Jackson, Alabama, received an invite this week to the Elite 11 Finals, which will be held in Los Angeles, California, June 17-19. Duckworth was one of 20 quarterbacks from the 2026 cycle to receive and accept an invite to the event, joining Texas commit Dia Bell, USC commit Jonas Williams, and Florida commit Will Griffin. Duckworth is the nation's No. 6 quarterback by 247Sports thanks to a healthy mix of size and dual-threat ability. The 6-3, 190-pound quarterback passed for 3,439 yards and 39 touchdowns for the Jackson Aggies last season, and added 648 yards and 12 scores on the ground. In the AHSAA Class 4A state championship game, Duckworth threw for 330 yards and five touchdowns. After missing out on three-star quarterback Travis Burgess, who will also compete in the Elite 11 Finals, to North Carolina earlier this week, Auburn has made Duckworth the highest priority in its quest for a quarterback from the 2026 cycle. Duckworth visited Auburn last weekend and will stop by Florida State, Georgia, and South Carolina before making his way to California for the Elite 11, and will end his tour on June 20 at Ole Miss. Auburn will aim to keep Duckworth in state this cycle, but will have to fight off favorite Ole Miss to land him before signing day. LSU football quarterback target earns Elite 11 invite
LSU football quarterback target earns Elite 11 invite LSU football's top quarterback target, Bowe Bentley, was invited to the Elite 11 finals. The field was rolled out earlier this week, with the Texas product making the cut. Bentley remains uncommitted, but his recruitment is down to LSU and Oklahoma. According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Bentley is the No. 7 ranked QB in the class and the No. 76 overall prospect. Bentley took off in the last year after 2024 was his first time in the starting role for his high school squad. LSU's 2026 recruiting class ranks No. 2 in the nation, but the Tigers want to add a QB. Bentley is the most likely option with most elite quarterbacks already off the board. However, the On3 Prediction Machine tabs Oklahoma as the favorite to land Bentley's services. LSU and Oklahoma are the only two official visits Bentley has on the calendar this summer. LSU missed on its top QB target last year with Bryce Underwood flipping to Michigan. LSU and staff look to avoid that fate this cycle. What is the Elite 11? The Elite 11 describes itself as, "The nation's premier quarterback camp series and competition." Quarterbacks from around the country compete at regional camps throughout the year. The top talents are invited to the Elite 11 Finals, a three-day event hosted annually every summer. Twenty QBs earn a finals invitation. At the end of the week, the top 11 passers are named the "Elite 11." The event also crowns an Elite 11 MVP. The last LSU QB to participate in the finals was Colin Hurley in 2023. Hurley's week was strong enough to be named an Elite 11 finalist.

Four-star quarterback Bowe Bentley invited to Elite 11 Finals
Four-star quarterback Bowe Bentley invited to Elite 11 Finals Oklahoma quarterback recruit Bowe Bentley has been invited to the Elite 11 Finals. Bentley, a four-star recruit from Celina, Texas, announced Oklahoma and LSU as his two finalists last week. He will be among 20 quarterbacks who were invited to participate in the event, which takes place from June 17-19. That comes after a visit with LSU to end the month of May followed by a an official visit to Norman over the weekend of June 6. The Elite 11 event previously produced Carson Palmer, Andrew Luck, Matthew Stafford, Tim Tebow, and others. Last year, 12 of the quarterbacks who participated ultimately ranked in the top 20 in On3's recruiting rankings at the position. Bentley led Celina to a Class 4A-Division 1 state championship last year, going 16-0. He is currently ranked as the No. 7 quarterback in the class, per 247Sports' rankings. Four of the sixth quarterbacks ranked ahead of him will also participate in the Elite 11 finals. Oklahoma coach Brent Venables re-configured his quarterback room in the offseason, signing one quarterback in the Class of 2025, three-star Jett Niu from Utah. Niu joins transfer Whitt Neubauer from Mercer and John Mateer from Washington State. Mateer was recently named one of the top three quarterbacks in the country by FOX Sports' Joel Klatt.
