Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are reportedly broken up for a 'final' time, according to insiders, so please bear with us while we mourn their sweet romance. 'It feels final this time,' a source told People on June 4, claiming the couple ended their eight-year relationship in recent weeks. The pair started dating in 2017 after being set up by mutual friends and kept their love story largely out of the public eye. The Fifty Shades of Grey actress didn't confirm their romance until a Sept 2018 in an interview with Tatler, simply saying, 'I'm not going to talk about it, but I am very happy.' In a super-rare 2021 interview with Elle UK, Johnson said, 'We've been together for quite a while, and we go out sometimes, but we both work so much that it's nice to be at home and be cozy and private. Most of the partying takes place inside my house.' In March 2024, it was reported that the couple had been secretly engaged 'for years' after first sparking engagement rumors in 2020. However, in August 2024, Johnson rep was forced to shut down breakup rumors as outlets began to speculate that the duo were on the rocks. Now that the pair have officially called off their romance, we're looking back at what once was. Check out all the little-known details we know about Johnson and Martin's ultra-private romance below: A version of this article was originally published with Sept 2023. In March 2024, Johnson was asked by Bustle about her relationship with Martin's children. 'I love those kids like my life depends on it. With all my heart,' she said. In the same interview with Bustle, Johnson talked about how she's open to motherhood, too. She said, 'I'm so open to that. I've gotten to this place where I really want to experience everything that life has to offer. And especially being a woman, I'm like, What a magical f*cking thing to do. What a crazy, magical, wild experience. If that's meant to happen for me, I'm totally down for it.' There have been numerous photos and videos of Dakota happily dancing along at a Coldplay show. In fact, in 2023, fans caught a sweet moment where Martin got her attention while she was in the VIP box. Along with frequently going to see Martin play in concert, Johnson told Bustle she absolutely adores seeing him! 'I love watching him. I could watch him every day. I don't know how to explain it. I feel like, I don't know… I'm watching my most favorite being do his most favorite thing,' she said. 'When people are really good at things, it is [sexy.]' In photos obtained by People in February, the pair were seen holding hands and cozying up while on vacation at Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Back in 2021, after four years together, they moved in together and lived in Martin's Malibu mansion. He sold it a year after and moved to another home in Malibu. And, fun fact, Johnson told SheKnows that her Daddio co-star Sean Penn is one of their celebrity neighbours. On Nov 14, Dakota Johnson revealed at the 2023 Hope for Depression Research Foundation annual luncheon that Martin helps her out on the tough days, in a rather cute and funny way. 'A few weeks ago, I was having a low day and my partner, said to me, 'Are you really struggling?' and I said 'No?'' she said, 'And he said, 'Baby, you are wearing a Cats T-shirt.' As in Cats the music. So it turns out, I really was struggling. But that moment lifted me up and pulled me out of it.' While Johnson frequently goes to Martin's shows, she even directed the Coldplay music video 'Cry, Cry, Cry.' The single was released on Valentine's Day in 2020, and along with Johnson, the video was also co-directed Cory Bailey. In 2018, Harper's Bazaar reported that the two were seen with matching infinity symbol tattoos, with Johnson's on her elbow and Martin's on the inside of his arm. As of 2023, Johnson has 12 tattoos and Martin has six. Not only has Johnson attended many Colplay concerts and directed a music video, but she even helped Martin improve the shows by introducing him to SubPacs. For those that don't know, SubPacs are a device that helps the hearing impaired enjoy the shows more by letting them feel the vibrations of a concert. Martin talked about it on the Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend podcast, saying, 'Dakota, my partner, gave me one as a gift because she saw someone online experiencing whatever they are experiencing with this. It's kind of like body armor that you put on. It connects to the bass.' He added: 'So, we started using it and it's been so amazing and it should get better and better. We have ten or twenty now of those packs. So, if you're hearing impaired we have an area where you put on the pack and you can feel the show.' Get ready for this one because during a show in London back in Oct 2021, Martin pointed to Dakota Johnson in the audience and said, 'This is about my universe. She's here,' per ET. Not only has Johnson been on several holidays with Chris Martin, his kids, and Gwyneth Paltrow, but Paltrow also 'adores' Dakota! Paltrow posted a birthday tribute to Johnson on Instagram in 2019, per People. And soon after, she told Harper's Bazaar, 'I love her. I can see how it would seem weird because it's sort of unconventional… I adore her.' In a rare interview with People in 2018, Johnson's mom Melanie Griffith said, 'I adore him! 'But [Dakota] is very private about her life, and I respect that.' Along with Griffith, Dakota's dad Don Johnson talked about how he feels about Martin. In Nov 2021, he said, 'But listen, if she's happy, I will be happy, and he's a lovely guy. And if she decides to get married, I would imagine that there would be grandchildren not too far out for that. I'd be pretty excited about that part.'

Pedro Pascal has done it again, accidentally dropped a thirst trap and left the entire internet gasping for air. The 50-year-old heartthrob rocked up to the Eddington photocall at the 78th Annual Cannes Film Festival and, let us just say, no one was looking at the movie posters. Pedro Pascal's arms are the internet's latest obsession Decked in an all-black Calvin Klein ensemble, Pascal wore a sleeveless merino wool tunic paired with tailored trousers and studded leather boots. It was the kind of look that whispered 'subtle elegance' while his biceps screamed 'Greek god.' Standing next to co-stars Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, and Austin Butler, Pascal still somehow managed to steal every camera flash, and every Twitter timeline. The sleeveless saga begins for Pedro Pascal Pedro Pascal at the photocall for 'Eddington' in the Cannes Film Festival 2025. Another compared the experience to being a Victorian man glimpsing an ankle, yes, the internet has that level of Pascal fever. While Eddington itself, Ari Aster's new neo-Western, has sparked mixed reviews, Pedro's biceps achieved universal acclaim. But wait, there's more Pascal drama It is not just his arms making headlines. In a recent interview with Elle UK, Pascal's Materialists co-star Dakota Johnson spilled the tea. She revealed that Pedro jokingly told her to start an OnlyFans and 'just wiggle her toe for money.' The internet did what it does best: overreact. #DakotaJohnson: 'Pedro Pascal Told Me I Should Have An OnlyFans… I Could Just Wiggle My Toe And Make Money' While Pedro clearly meant it as a cheeky joke, reactions ranged from outrage to complete amusement. Some were not amused, questioning the appropriateness of the comment. Others fired back with 'It's just a joke, chill.' The drama? Extra. The quote? Misdirected but harmless. The internet? Divided, as always. Between a viral sleeveless moment and an accidentally controversial joke, Pedro Pascal has once again proven he is living rent-free in everyone's minds. Dakota Johnson reveals Pedro Pascal told her to start an OnlyFans, internet is conflicted: 'Who says that to a woman'

Pedro Pascal is generating a lot of buzz during his appearance at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. The actor generated thousands of tweets just by baring his arms on the red carpet the other day. However, the new reason for which he is in the news isn't as generous. In a recent interview, his Materialists co-star Dakota Johnson said that Pedro told her to start an OnlyFans account, something that has left fans divided over the joke. OnlyFans is a subscription-based service where creators can make accounts and invite subscribers to watch their content for a fee. While it was never explicitly made for adult content, OnlyFans has been dominated by adult performers and fetish models as a platform for their content. To be fair, while Pedro did not ask Dakota to make any sexual content and the whole 'advice' was a joke, it still got the internet riled up. The news was shared on social media on Monday, with Twitter (now X) abuzz with polarising reactions to the joke. One Twitter user wrote, "Who says that to a woman?" Another added his disapproval of the beloved star, "I always knew this guy was a f***ing weirdo." Many defended Pedro's joke and slammed the internet's over-reaction. "why tf are ppl getting so pissed in the comments? It's just a joke lol," read one comment. However, others added that being a joke does not excuse the comment. "That's weird and not funny," read one tweet. Many Pedro fans, however, added that much of the reporting of the joke was done without context, making the actor look needlessly bad. "This is gonna make him look bad- he probably wasn't saying sexual content," argued one. "It's funny how his sense of humour sparks things that don't mean anything," added another. Pedro Pascal and Dakota Johnson will be seen together, alongside Chris Evans, in the upcoming romantic comedy Materialists. The Celine Song-directorial is scheduled to be released on June 13, 2025.

Dakota Johnson details shocking X-rated request made by Pedro Pascal

Pedro Pascal has a sidehustle suggestion for his Materialists co-star Dakota Johnson: start an OnlyFans account. The only problem is Johnson doesn't exactly know what OnlyFans is. In a new interview with Elle UK, Johnson, 35, sat down to answer some fan questions about relationships and one person said, 'I noticed my boyfriend was following OnlyFans models on Instagram. 'Should I be worried?' Johnson then replied saying, 'I don't know anything about that.' When asked what she thought OnlyFans was, Johnson said, 'OnlyFans is the place people go to watch people do weird things.' And she is not technically wrong. OnlyFans is a subscription service that allows users to pay for and follow some of their favorite creators' content. In an interview with Elle UK, Johnson admitted that she didn't know what an OnlyFans was - but that Pascal suggested she make an account The platform has now become known as a place for people to pay for sexually explicit content from creators. But some of the content is more niche than that - something Pascal, 50, is seemingly aware of, considering his advice to Johnson. 'Pedro Pascal told me that I should have an OnlyFans and that I could just wiggle my toe and make money,' the star then shared. 'Should I do that?' she asked. She then concluded the conversation by saying, 'I'm not the right person to ask for advice.' Johnson didn't go on to give any context behind why Pascal told her to do it - but it seems like she may be open to the idea. And fans are as well. 'He's not wrong,' one X (formerly Twitter) user said. View this post on Instagram A post shared by ELLE UK (@elleuk) 'Probably the easiest way to make some quick money as a celebrity,' another user added. 'You know what's sad though he is completely right,' another fan chimed in. The conversation comes right after Johnson came under fire by fans for her conversations around being a 'nepo baby.' Johnson told Elle UK that she finds the debate around nepo babies 'incredibly boring,' considering she was cut off financially from her father in college.

Dakota Johnson Confesses Which One Of Her Famous Co-Stars Asked Her To Start An OnlyFans

Dakota Johnson has shared that one of her famous co-stars once tried to convince her to start an OnlyFans account. In a new interview with Elle UK, the 'Materialists' star shared that her co-star Pedro Pascal nudged her to dabble in the subscription-based social media platform, which is known for its adult content, to make some extra funds. ″[He] told me that I should have an OnlyFans … that I could just like wiggle my toe and make money,' Johnson revealed to the outlet during a Q&A segment. 'Should I do that?' While Johnson didn't confirm whether Pascal was serious or joking about his suggestion, the actor admitted that she's unfamiliar with the concept of OnlyFans. The topic came up after a fan submitted a concerned question to Johnson about their boyfriend following OnlyFans models on their Instagram. 'I don't know anything about that,' she responded. 'I don't know. OnlyFans is the place where people go to watch people do weird things? Are OnlyFans models hot? Are they different to regular models?' Johnson went on to joke that she 'would look at OnlyFans models on Instagram if I knew how to do that.' She added: 'It sounds interesting. Sounds intriguing.' HuffPost has reached out to Pascal's reps for comment. While interviewing Johnson for an Elle UK cover story last week, Pascal jokingly called her out for 'not remembering' who he was at the Met Gala after previously meeting him. 'I don't know what the fuck is going on. I don't feel I connect with any human beings in a real way; it's like going into some sort of vortex,' she said of the faux pas while comparing the hectiness of the Met Gala to 'The Twilight Zone' series. Johnson then joked about how the pair have recalled the embarrassing moment on multiple occasions together. 'This is maybe the 37th time we've had this conversation. The 37th time Pedro makes me feel like an absolute piece of shit for not remembering him,' Johnson teased. Watch Johnson's Elle UK interview below.
