PETER Andre was branded "embarrassing" as he got stuck in a window amid a huge holiday emergency. The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 52, intervened when son Theo became trapped in a public toilet. 6 6 6 Peter, who shares his second-eldest son, aged eight, with wife Emily MacDonagh, 35, often keeps the schoolboy out of the spotlight. Yet he couldn't resist documenting their vacation mishap in a new video on TikTok, which captured the drama unfolding. Pete introduced the clip by filming the exterior on the orange-walled public bathrooms and said: "Right guys we have a bit of a situation here because these are the toilets. "This is the door, its completely locked from the inside and the outside and someone can't get out." He then panned the camera from the outside of the tiny window in the toilet wall inside the facility and captured Theo - wearing shorts and a T-Shirt but with his face blurred - inside. Peter Andre's wife Emily reveals why they didn't share a bedroom for a YEAR
PETER Andre's wife Emily MacDonagh has revealed the married couple didn't share a bedroom for a year. The NHS doctor, 35, and Mysterious Girl hitmaker welcomed their third child, Arabella, now one, in April 2024. 6 6 6 Together, the duo share two other children, Amelia, 11, and eight-year-old Theo. Peter, 52, also shares two kids, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with ex-wife Katie Price. Yet before they had their own children, and medic Emily was propelled into the step mum role, she told how she slept separately from the popstar for a year. Talking of their blossoming relationship she said: "It sort of built slowly, because I think I wouldn't expect to step into that role immediately. "And I was young as well, you know, so I think we were always really cautious in the beginning about how much I was around. "And we joke about this now with the kids, it's so funny, but we didn't share a bedroom for the first year that we were together. "Because, when the kids were there… he wanted to be respectful. "And I actually really admired that at the time, that he always would put them first in everything. "I thought that was really lovely." And there's a reason behind this decision, after a traumatic birth with baby Arabella. Emily explained: "I had weird complications all the way through. She was breech. I've had two breech babies. 'She nearly made it to 38 weeks, and I haven't really spoken about her birth and what happened afterwards because it was so hard and awful. It was tough. I was really unwell after she was born, there was quite a lot of complications." 'She nearly made it to 38 weeks, and I haven't really spoken about her birth and what happened afterwards because it was so hard and awful. It was tough. I was really unwell after she was born, there was quite a lot of complications. 'So I had to go back for emergency surgery. She was a week old. I had to kind of hand her over and go in for another operation.' Peter Andre reveals heartbreaking reason he and Emily won't have any more kids Emily went on to explain that she'd developed a really rare type of hernia that was quite large. She went on: 'All the consultants I've seen have said 'we've never seen this in our whole career.' 'Basically part of my bowels were kind of in the wrong place. And the type of hernia that it was can strangulate quite easily and that ends up being an emergency. 'I knew things weren't right after she was born because I had a big, huge lump in my tummy sticking out. 'They got me back after a week to follow it up. The surgeon looked and said 'you need to come into hospital now'. 'They scanned and they could see it was my bowels that had come out basically. 'I was breastfeeding so I thought 'My God, I'm going to have to express milk'. So they let me go home and I could do all of that." Emily explained how she felt before going off for the hernia surgery, adding: 'Going off to theatre was the worst, like handing her (Arabella) over to my mum. I was a right mess. "There was one thing that made me smile. I got into theatre, I was lying on the table. The porter that got me across was so lovely. He said 'You know, I brought Pete here into this theatre'. "The way Pete and I met was my dad operated on him. We were then friends for years. He said 'This was exactly where he lay and this is the room where he met your dad'. It was just something that took my mind off it. "Then the recovery from that was quite awful. I was in hospital for probably two or three days and then the recovery was really, really slow. "They had to do quite a lot of stitching things up and moving things around so the pain was quite bad." Emily said it's taken over a year for her to almost recover fully. She said: "I feel like I'm pretty much back to health now. "Pete was amazing, my mum and dad were amazing. I can't thank the doctors enough who looked after me, and the nurses, and the midwives were absolutely amazing." Asked what caused the hernia, Emily said: "They don't know. There was some kind of defect in the muscle in my tummy quite high up. Whether it was caused from the previous C-section, or whether it just happened in the pregnancy, they don't really know. "It required quite a lot of follow up afterwards as well. Everyone I've seen was like 'I've never heard of that before'." But Emily still said the psychological moment of passing on Arabella after a week was the worst part for her. "It was the handing her over, that was the worst part of it." Princess Andre 'scaring' dad Peter as he looks forward to her wedding
Peter Andre is celebrating a big milestone this week - his daughter Princess Andre's 18th birthday. And as he admits, it's given him mixed feelings as he admits he's quite 'scared' he has no control over what she does anymore, but could not be proud of the young woman she's become. The Mysterious Girl singer also opens up on some very exciting music news and as Jeff Bezos married his wife in a rumoured £30m wedding, reminisces on his own big day with NHS doctor Emily MacDonagh... Jeff Bezos is thought to have spent somewhere around £30m on his wedding, but maybe that's tame for the richest man in the world?! A wedding is about what you want it to be. Sometimes it's not about the money spent, but the simple touches or just the family you have around you. It made me think about mine and Emily's wedding 10 years ago, and I wouldn't change it for the world. It was the best day, phenomenal – and it certainly didn't cost anywhere near £30m! My beautiful daughter, Princess, has hit the 18 mark! It is so scary, but she's a blessing. She's very driven, she's funny, she's kind, she has a beautiful heart, and she's completely bonkers – and that's exactly why I love her. Yes, I'm a bit nervous about it all, because, by the time this column comes out, I have no legal parental responsibility over her… She can do what she likes and make her own decisions. To be honest, she's been doing that for the last year anyway, and I'm proud of everything she's done. She'll always be my little girl, and I guess I can rest in the knowledge that hopefully, one day, I'll be the one walking her down the aisle. So I'll be a soppy dad all over again. My new song, Island Girl, is coming out this summer and I'm getting very excited about it. I had so much fun writing it and working with the brilliant Lady Leshurr. We're bringing a Mysterious Girl vibe to 2025. The kids love it – so that's a win for me already. In the meantime, we're asking people to show us their Island Girl dance. I spotted two huge birthdays this week – and both of them made me really stop and think about how fast time flies (especially when you're having fun!). Rock icon Debbie Harry is turning 80 – how has that happened?! And radio DJ Jo Whiley is 60. Jo's interviewed me lots in the past, so I've known her a long time and had no idea she was older than me, let alone 60 this year. They're both incredible women, so happy birthday!
