‘Sad' truth about Princess Andre's relationship with stepmum… & why it would leave mum Katie Price ‘broken' if she knew

The Suna day ago
HER parents are embroiled in a bitter war of words, with Peter Andre blasting Katie Price's claims she's being publically kept apart from daughter Princess as 'lies'.
Yet behind this battle lies a secret that the 18-year-old has been desperately trying to keep from her mum for years - and the truth is likely to devastate Katie.

Princess has struggled for years to keep her close bond with stepmum Emily MacDonagh a secret from Katie, pals say - yet now feels it's the time to be open about their relationship.
Heartbreakingly, one source claims that Princess considers Emily "closer than a mother".
'Emily and Princess are like best friends and soulmates and have been for many years,' they explain.
Emily, who has been married to Katie's ex and Princess' dad Peter Andre for ten years, features heavily in the new ITV show - while Katie, 47, was allegedly banned from filming by bosses for being 'too trashy'.
Katie also claimed Peter and his management won't allow her to do any publicity with her daughter at all.
'Unfortunately, the management team and Pete won't allow me to be near her,' she ranted last week.
'They have made it clear, they won't allow Princess to do photoshoots with me, they won't allow me to go to any events with Princess – because they think I am trash basically.'
This week Peter hit back at Katie's claims, slamming her in a furious Instagram statement.
Peter wrote: "For sixteen years I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silence has been incredibly frustrating."
He continued: "That ends today."
According to pals, while Peter, 52, is wary of Katie, the reality is that Emily, 36, is very much a positive influence in Princess' life.
However, it's likely to have been a constant source of stress for the teen, who is, no doubt, desperate to keep everyone happy and knows how much their tight bond would upset Kate.
'Emily gives Princess stability and a lot of love, but Princess knows she can never praise Emily or share stories about her life at home with Katie,' the source says.
'And that's very difficult when you love someone so much. Princess probably feels she's forced to hold back."

Emily and Princess' deep connection, formed when Princess was just three years old, has only grown stronger as the youngster grew up, the source says.
When Emily was thrust into the limelight upon meeting Peter in her early twenties, she handled her new role as a celeb girlfriend and stepmum with grace and dignity, concentrating on her job as a trainee NHS doctor and her newfound family.
'Emily was so young when she became a stepmum to Princess and, as she gets older, Princess has even more respect and admiration for her,' the source continued.
'She understands how it must have been hard for Emily, but she never showed it, and it's become even clearer to Princess how special Emily is.
"She's provided a safe and happy home for Princess and her brother, Junior.
"Emily has cared for and loved them like her own, always helping them with homework and always there when they've needed a shoulder to cry on.
"Now they're older, they're so close they talk about anything and everything.
"They read books together, they discuss work and career ambitions, and Emily continues to be the best influence on their lives they've ever had. Princess knows how lucky she is to have Emily."
Indeed, last year in an interview with Fabulous, Princess praised Emily, saying, 'She's the perfect stepmum. I couldn't have asked for better' - but tactfully didn't go into too much detail.

While Katie and Pete might be at loggerheads, apparently Katie is a fan of Emily.
The source said: ' Katie has actually always liked Emily - she appreciates how much she's been there for her children and how she's looked after them at difficult times in her life when she couldn't be the mum they needed.
"She also appreciates that Emily keeps out of her business - they have nothing to do with each other.
"She hates the fact Emily is so sweet and perfect, but at the same time, she knows she's lucky her kids have her as such an amazing, strong role model.'
According to our insider, Emily, on the other hand, has found living in Katie's orbit 'difficult', especially as she also has her hands full with her and Peter's children, Amelia, 11, Theo, eight, and one year-old Arabella.
'No matter what, Emily is on Pete's side and fully supports all of his decisions with the children,' the source continued.
'It's been incredibly difficult for Emily having someone like Katie with all her drama and problems in the background, but Emily has handled it remarkably well - somehow she's managed to block out the noise and be the best mother in the world to FIVE children.'
Last month, Emily admitted that being a parent was tough while speaking on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast.
Who is Princess Andre and what's her job?
Princess Andre born June 29, 2007, is the daughter of Mysterious Girl singer Peter Andre and former glamour model Katie Price.
The pair also welcomed a son while they were together, Junior, born on June 13, 2005.
Katie and Peter then split in early 2009, with their divorce being finalised in October of the same year.
Princess also has six half siblings, four from Katie and two from Peter.
As of June 2024, Princess has an impressive 750,000 followers on her Instagram account, @officialprincess_andre.
Ahead of her 16th birthday, in June 2023, Princess opened up about what she wants to do with her future during a Q&A with fans and followers.
The teen said she is seeking out "financial freedom" through her beauty and fashion brand deals, as well as her own jewellery brand named 'Sparkle' by Princess Andre.
'I like the closeness of a family unit, but it's not always easy, you know?' she said. 'I think I didn't quite realise how tough it can be being a parent."
Clearly, though, Princess doesn't have any complaints. And in a candid interview from 2020, Peter revealed the extent of the bond between his wife and daughter, admitting Emily stepped up to have the difficult chats with the then 13-year old Princess that he couldn't.
"Emily's incredible, and she has great conversations with Princess that maybe I wouldn't necessarily feel that comfortable having - although I'm trying to get better at it,' he said.
Although they are words that would sting Katie, there's no doubt Emily's love for Princess has helped shape the young woman she's become.
'Oh, Emily's done the best job with Princess,' our source concluded. 'They adore her and she's an incredible person.'

Every year Welsh acts descend on the Scottish capital and join more than 3,500 shows from performers all over the world ranging from comedy to cabaret, to street acts and spoken word. The Harebell Tellers perform folklore and mythological stories through the traditional art of storytelling. Ffion Phillips, from Wales and Ailsa Dixon, from Scotland, weave the Welsh and Scottish languages into their from Conwy, said there are people at the Fringe who have never heard the Welsh language before."It's amazing to take what is really a living, breathing language into venues that don't get a great deal of it," she said."If they are Welsh speakers it's a beautiful point of connection."I love interweaving stories in a way that English speakers in the audience can still hopefully follow what I'm saying - it really brings them into the world of the story."The 20-year-old student has been storytelling since she was eight and started to incorporate the Welsh language soon after."The vast majority of my repertoire is Welsh folklore and myth. As a Welsh speaker in my daily life, I've always loved telling stories bilingually."Their show, Aderyn/Bird, explores bird mythology, dreams and fate. Over three weeks in August the venues and streets in the Edinburgh turn into a hive of arts and culture. Emily Davis is currently performing two shows, Blodwen's in Town and Escape the Rat song, Emily, from Newport, Pembrokeshire, tells her story of moving from west Wales to London and then escaping corporate life all through the eyes of Blodwen. "It's about the culture shocks that happen to you when you come from a small village in west Wales and how you find yourself navigating a new world, leaving behind a support system and finding a new one," she started her theatrical career 10 years ago after completing a cabaret course but found it difficult to perform as herself, so she created an alter ego."Blodwen is me, but without all the self-doubt and emotional baggage," Emily 41-year-old pulls inspiration from her own life and, like Blodwen, works in an office when she's not performing. But the variety is not just in her performances but in the audiences that go to watch."Some days you might get two people at the show, other days 50 people will turn up and others will come because it's raining outside. Every day is different," she said. Stand-up comedian, Stuart Thomas, has been performing at the Edinburgh Fringe for the first time, sharing what life was like growing up on a sheep farm in Port Talbot. "I talk a lot about being Welsh, and about being fat as well, which is why the name of the show is called 'Bad Fatty'. It is all about changing stereotypes."People sometimes hear my accent and don't expect a lot from me, but you can use that in comedy and play with it. It's a fun thing to do to change perceptions."Stuart now lives in Salford but has not forgotten his Welsh roots. "It's great to share a bit about Wales and have Welsh representation at the festival. The Fringe is a global showcase and people come from all over the world," said the 32-year-old. His show talks about body image, sexuality and mental health. TALK OF THE TOWN: The party's over for society darling Lady Sabrina Percy and her pizza heir husband Phineas Page

Their's was a high-society wedding to remember. But despite the glamour and promises of eternal happiness, I regret to reveal that Sabrina Percy and Phineas Page, heir to pizza chain Franco Manca, have filed for divorce after nearly four years of marriage. Model Sabrina,, related to the Duke of Northumberland, has been to several public events this year with a bare wedding ring finger and no sign of her husband. 'It's been going on for a while now,' a source who knows the couple tells me. 'He's a bit of a party boy and she told me that she was partying less and less.' I am told that Sabrina, 35, has had a lifestyle transformation in recent years – from a Tatler cover star attending society parties to become a qualified psychologist and founder of a personal coaching company. The couple met 11 years ago through mutual friend David Tollemache, nephew of Lord Tollemache of Helmingham Hall, Suffolk. They got engaged on Christmas Day in 2019 after Phineas, 41, left four rings in her stocking. They married at Chelsea Town Hall, with guests including Sabrina's grandmother the Dowager Marchioness of Bute, Lady Violet Manners, heiress Isabel Getty and Hum Fleming, great-niece of James Bond creator Ian Fleming. Since their split, Sabrina says her motto is 'Be Good. Do Good'. She adds: 'Whenever I am feeling lost, I say this to myself and it somehow brings me back.' Sabrina Percy and Phineas Page were contacted for comment. Model Sabrina Percy (pictured), 35, related to the Duke of Northumberland, has been to several public events this year with a bare wedding ring finger and no sign of her husband. 'It's been going on for a while now,' a source who knows the couple tells me Cara's laser vision from a Royal artist His portrait of the late Queen with her eyes closed is his most famous work, and now I can reveal the subject of artist Chris Levine's next portrait is supermodel Cara Delevingne, 33,. 'I will be doing Cara with her eyes open,' he tells me. 'I am going to use lasers to show her because she has such amazing eyes.' Levine produced a laser show for Kate Moss's 40th birthday, and an 'immersive, multi-sensory' exhibition for the Marquess of Cholmondeley – friend of the Prince and Princess of Wales. Say cheese! King James appoints Dad We've heard of nepo babies, what about nepo dads? Actor James Norton, often boasts of getting his father Hugh into his films as an extra – and his new BBC drama is no different. 'I was a soldier this time,' Hugh tells me at the premiere of his son's new drama, King And Conqueror. 'I didn't have to fight, but I was all dressed up in chain mail.' His big on-screen moment? 'I had to shout 'To victory!'' Battle of brides Are pop stars Dua Lipa and Charli XCX in a battle of the brides? I hear that Dua, 29, is looking at venues in Sicily for her big day next summer – the same location as Charli, 33. My source says Dua, plans to have 200 guests and five outfit changes when she ties the knot with her fiance Callum Turner. But she politely declined an invite from Charli, to her wedding this summer due to 'scheduling conflicts'. SPOTTED Naomi Campbell dancing at top Ibiza nightclub DC10 in the booth, left, with a new close friend, DJ Rampa. Jenny Ortega having a boogie at the student haunt Sneaky Pete's during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Minnie Driver complaining about the heat while filming in Rome. 'Inferno. Shooting outside with no shade in Italy in August is no joke,' she says. Benedict Cumberbatch has found the ultimate get-out-of-jail-free card. The Sherlock star says that in the US, his Old Harrovian voice has proved a handy defence. 'You're feted for your accent,' Cumberbatch, 49, says. 'You can get away with speeding tickets and all sorts by saying 'I'm so sorry, I'm English!' – go a bit Hugh Grant and they're like, 'Oh, OK, don't do it again',' he says. A trick worth trying... Princess Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi went incognito to Wilderness Festival this month. My spies tell me they were looking a little green around the gills by the Saturday of the four-day event. 'They were up for partying but were clearly a bit... tired, let's say, from Friday night,' my source says. 'They had lots of kids over to their Cotswolds house for a pool party on Friday night, then Wilderness on Saturday night for Supergrass.' Royals can party, too!
