Mika Salamanca releases own version of 'Sino Nga Ba Siya'
Mika Salamanca's rendition of "Sino Nga Ba Siya" has been released on streaming platforms! Star Music made the announcement on X midnight of Friday. Originally performed by Sarah Geronimo, "Sino Nga Ba Siya" recently went viral on social media after childhood videos of Mika singing the song resurfaced. Aside from this new rendition, Mika is also working on an album. The first Kapuso big winner of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" also stars in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" as Anaca. Bianca Umali on Terra's growth in 'Sang'gre': 'Yung character development niya ang pinagmamalaki ko every time'
Bianca Umali expressed her pride in the character development of Terra, her role in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" who is the prophesied savior of Encantadia from Mitena's (Rhian Ramos) rule. In Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Thursday, the Sparkle star shared that she has always been proud of Terra's inner growth, from a child who didn't know her purpose to eventually embracing her powers and becoming a protector in the mortal world. "Yung character development niya, 'yun naman ang pinagmamalaki ko every time na tinatanong ako eh. Kung paano mag-g-grow si Terra mula bata na hindi niya alam kung ano ang purpose niya hanggang sa ma-discover niya kung bakit ba siya ang itinakda," she shared. Per the report, Bianca does her own stunts in the series which she honed through intensive training, earning high praise from viewers. Bianca's boyfriend, Ruru Madrid, recently made an appearance in "Sang'gre," with last Monday's episode finally revealing the cause of death of his character Ybrahim: a broken heart. "I'm just very grateful na muling nabigyan ng buhay ang aking isa sa pinakaminahal na karakter," said Ruru. Bianca also expressed her gratitude to supporters of "Sang'gre," saying, "Sana po'y hanggang sa dulo'y mahalin niyo ang kuwento namin." Vince Maristela enjoying the moment as fans get kilig over Akiro, Terra in 'Sang'gre'
Vince Maristela plays the best friend of Bianca Umali in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre," and fans are loving the hint of possible romance between their characters Akiro and Terra. Akiro is a steadfast supporter of Terra as she uses her powers to help people in need, even creating her Sang'gre superhero costume from scratch. On the sidelines of the GMA Gala 2025, Vince told GMA News Online that he is simply enjoying the moment now that fans are seeing the scenes they worked on for a long time. "Nakakatuwa lang kapag nakikita ko sa social media kung ano 'yung mga comments ng mga tao na napapamahal sila sa character ko at ako din naman, hindi din kasi naglalayo 'yung character ko with Akiro," he said. "Ganun talaga 'yung character ko, medyo hopeless romantic. Nakikita naman ng tao 'yun, at sobrang proud ako kasi lumalabas 'yung effectiveness ko as an actor," he added. Among the scenes that made viewers kilig was when Terra grabbed Akiro's hand and when Akiro told Terra in a soft voice to calm down. In the upcoming episodes, it seems like their friendship will be tested with a reward being offered to those who can identify Sang'gre and Akiro's family suddenly facing trouble. Meanwhile in real life, Vince is also charming fans as himself on X. He engages netizens in playful banter and he has become a happy pill for many online. The Sparkle actor, who finished his stint inside the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" in May, said he did not expect to get that reaction from the platform. Angel Guardian, Kelvin Miranda remain mum on possible ‘Sang'gre' romance between Deia and Adamus
Could there be a budding romance between Deia and Adamus in 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre?' On the sidelines of GMA Gala 2025, Angel Guardian and Kelvin Miranda first expressed their gratitude to the Kapuso fantaserye's supporters but remained tight-lipped about it. ''Di natin alam. Puwedeng panaginip lang 'yun, puwedeng totoo, so iiwan ko na sa inyo 'yun para panoorin,' Angel told GMA News Online. When asked about her chemistry with Kelvin, Angel said it came naturally. 'With Kelvin, hindi naman na bago for me na makatrabaho si Kelvin because siya actually 'yung pinakaunang love team ko sa GMA. So madali na for me since matagal ko na siyang kilala. Wala nang kailangan. Wala nang anything at all, so very easy,' she said. Kelvin, on the other hand, remained cryptic about the fate of their characters but acknowledged the intriguing dynamics. As for the growing number of Deia-Adamus shippers, Kelvin is grateful for the attention and enthusiasm the pairing has sparked. 'Nakakatuwa rin at the same time dahil talagang inaabangan at sinusubaybayan talaga nila 'yung Encantadia ngayon.
