Vince Maristela enjoying the moment as fans get kilig over Akiro, Terra in 'Sang'gre'
Akiro is a steadfast supporter of Terra as she uses her powers to help people in need, even creating her Sang'gre superhero costume from scratch.
On the sidelines of the GMA Gala 2025, Vince told GMA News Online that he is simply enjoying the moment now that fans are seeing the scenes they worked on for a long time.
"Nakakatuwa lang kapag nakikita ko sa social media kung ano 'yung mga comments ng mga tao na napapamahal sila sa character ko at ako din naman, hindi din kasi naglalayo 'yung character ko with Akiro," he said.
"Ganun talaga 'yung character ko, medyo hopeless romantic. Nakikita naman ng tao 'yun, at sobrang proud ako kasi lumalabas 'yung effectiveness ko as an actor," he added.
Among the scenes that made viewers kilig was when Terra grabbed Akiro's hand and when Akiro told Terra in a soft voice to calm down.
In the upcoming episodes, it seems like their friendship will be tested with a reward being offered to those who can identify Sang'gre and Akiro's family suddenly facing trouble.
Meanwhile in real life, Vince is also charming fans as himself on X. He engages netizens in playful banter and he has become a happy pill for many online.
The Sparkle actor, who finished his stint inside the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" in May, said he did not expect to get that reaction from the platform.
"Nung una gusto ko lang talagang mag-check ng X kung pa'no 'yung mga tao dun at natutuwa lang ako kasi nakakuha ako ng humor, nakuha ko 'yung humor nila," he said.
"Kaya ine-enjoy ko din talaga makipag-usap sa mga fans kasi alam mo naman, grabe din 'yung suporta nila sa akin," he added.
"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it on YouTube via the Kapuso Livestream.
