Alden Richards and family get some downtime in London
Alden Richards and his family finally got some much-needed downtime during their trip to London! In Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Thursday, the Asia's Multimedia Star said that he has not gone on vacation after his grandfather passed last year. "Last December was a very hard season for us because of my grandfather's passing, so we didn't really have that much time to really spend time together and magkaroon ng downtime," he said. Alden was in the United Kingdom this month for the annual London Barrio Fiesta 2025, which he graced with fellow Sparkle stars Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz. While in the U.K., Alden, his father, and siblings made sure to make the most out of their trip, as they visited various tourist sites. "Happy ako kasi sobrang nag-enjoy, most especially 'yung sumunod sa kin, si Riza, sobrang na-enjoy niya 'yung London, even 'yung youngest namin si Angel," he shared. Alden has now returned to work after arriving in the Philippines, including taping for "Stars on the Floor," which he hosts. Per Alden, they are happy thus far with the positive feedback the Kapuso reality dance competition has received. "We're very happy. Happy kami I mean with the performance of the show, of course mga Pinoy mahilig sumayaw and what more, it's just so very rewarding for us to get such feedback from the viewers." He is also gearing up for the GMA Gala 2025 on August 2, which is expected to be a big event as GMA Network marked its 75th anniversary this year. "I've [become a] part of the GMA family during its 60th year, so I'm very proud and happy. For 15 years, I've been a solid Kapuso ever since day one. GMA Gala 2025 preparations now in full swing
As the countdown begins, the GMA Gala 2025 is already deep into preparations, promising an unforgettable event that will celebrate GMA Network's 75th anniversary. According to Nelson Canlas' report in '24 Oras' Friday, among the event's organizers are GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo. 'Ako, I'm excited personally to see how our stars will level up what they're wearing, their styling. So I'm very excited to see that. And every Gala, I see them just mingling, enjoying each other's company, and sana ito talagang maging opportunity again for them to just be themselves and enjoy. Enjoy friendship, enjoy the feeling of family,' Gozon-Valdes said. The event will be styled by Gideon Hermosa. 'Since we are celebrating, I mean, GMA is celebrating their 75th anniversary this year, yes, diamond anniversary, so it's going to be bigger, and I would say more unique and siyempre mas bongga,' he said. Guests will be served a three-course meal made with imported ingredients. 'It's all about glamour, it's all about quality, it's all about GMA,' Marriott Hotel Manila Executive Chef Meik Brammer said. Stars are already finalizing their looks for the momentous occasion, each bringing a unique vision to their attire. 'Yes, may gown na po. May theme ulit siya. And 'yun lang po. May theme kasi every time I do a gala, may kwento 'yung ginagawa ko, may kwento 'yung gown,' Kylie Padilla said. 'Meron na akong vision na sana. Maganda kasi 'yung gusto kong gown,' Kazel Kinouchi said. Jak Roberto says he wants to go simple. 'Suit and tie lang naman eh. Ang mahalaga lang sa amin mag-sharpen 'yung dating namin, maging dapper talaga pag dating sa Gala,' he said. Michael Sager said that he is excited to reunite with his fellow "PBB" housemates at the event. 'We'll go classic again, but lagyan natin ng konting twist para special,' he said. 'Gusto ko, class. May iba din tayong atake 'ba gano'n. Pakitaan ko sila na puwede tayong mag-high fashion,' Shuvee Etrata said. The GMA Gala is returning for its fourth year, and it will be held on August 2. The event is a star-studded gathering of Kapuso stars and other showbiz personalities. They walk down the red carpet in fashionable outfits and enjoy an evening of camaraderie and celebration. Sang'gre Terra visits MOA Globe ahead of GMA Gala 2025
Sang'gre Terra paid a visit to Mall of Asia in Pasay City and witnessed an exciting announcement through its iconic MOA Globe. In the 45-second video uploaded by Sparkle GMA Artist Center on Wednesday evening, Bianca Umali could be seen teleporting into the area wearing her Terra costume and carrying her weapon and the earth gem on her hands. Slowly, Terra made her way to get a closer look at the MOA Globe, which announced that stars are about to align "at the country's biggest event in the showbiz industry." The post's caption reads, "Another enchanted evening is coming up," along with the hashtag #GMAGala2025. The GMA Gala is returning for its fourth year, and it will be held on August 2. Dingdong Dantes proud of Marian Rivera's opening performance in 'Stars on the Floor'
Dingdong Dantes is nothing short of proud of Marian Rivera for her opening dance performance in "Stars on the Floor." In Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Friday, the Kapuso Primetime King said that Marian owned the stage in that moment. "Nung nakita ko siya nag-perform sa opening, sabi ko, kitang-kitang — parang the stage is hers, 'di ba? In-own niya 'yung stage sa moment lang na 'yun, 'yung kaniyang number, pero 'yun 'yung kaniyang kaligayahan, pagsasayaw," he shared. The Kapuso dance competition premiered on GMA Network on June 28 and saw its judges, composed of Marian, Pokwang, and SB19 choreographer Coach Jay Roncesvalles, perform their own dance number for the crowd. According to Dingdong, he loves watching Marian in a reality talent show because people get to see her true self. "Syempre sanay tayo makita siya sa teleserye. 'Pag ganun, she is just herself, 'di ba makikita natin kung gaano siya ka-lively, kung gaano siya kakalog, at kung gaano lang ka-good vibes bilang isang tao," he said. Julie Anne San Jose, Gabbi Garcia, Jillian Ward, more Kapuso stars share preparations for GMA Gala 2025
GMA Gala 2025 is just a month away and Kapuso celebrities are busy with preparations for the big event. In Nelson Canlas' report in "24 Oras" Wednesday, several stars shared what to watch for in their outfits at this year's gala. Julie Anne San Jose teased that she'll be going for something "classic but sophisticated." "Every year naman talaga kailangan. 'Yun na muna 'yung description para pag ano na, pasabog 'di ba?" Gabbi Garcia and Andrea Torres, for their part, will be trying something new in their outfits. "I've never worn this color for gala ever, so medyo hindi ako black and white this year kasi most of the time neutrals ako, so abangan nila kung ano ba 'yung kulay na susuotin ko," said Gabbi. "Meron na kaming idea, pero ginagawa pa lang 'yung damit. Excited ako for it kasi gusto naming medyo maiba naman ako dun sa mga napakita namin last three years na nag gala tayo," Andrea also shared. . Kyline Alcantara shared that her gown at this year's gala will be extravagant: "It's gonna be something else, promise, I'm so excited for all of you to see it 'cause I'm just so proud of my team that they saw this dress and there, I bought it." As for Shuvee Etrata, she and her team are still finishing her look. Meanwhile, if Kylie Padilla went for sexy in her number last year, she said that this year's will be "hotter" and in a different color. Sanya Lopez, on the other hand, cannot decide yet if she wants to go for a demure or a sexy look this year. "Dalawang gown 'yung pinagpipilian ko and nalilito ako kung ano yung pinakagusto ko, isang pa demure at isang hotter. Syempre pinag-iisipan ko pa kung anong babagay sa tema," Sanya explained. Jillian Ward, for her part, shared that she isn't preparing that much for her outfit. "Para sa'kin mas excited lang po talaga ako for the night itself, excited po talaga ako is makita 'yung mga kaibigan ko sa industry," she said. "Feisty" is the word that Sofia Pablo used to describe her gala look this year, while Elle Villanueva gown will be designed by her uncle, who is based in Dubai. "Very big thing 'to sa amin dahil napakagaling niyang designer so 'yun 'yung pinaka excited ako," said Elle. GMA Gala 2025 will be held on August 2 and is expected to be a big event as GMA Network marks its 75th anniversary this year.
