Dhamar Endowments office launches feeding project for needy, frontline fighters
Dhamar – Saba: The General Endowments Authority office in Dhamar governorate on Thursday launched its feeding project, distributing 15 heads of cattle to the poor, needy, and frontline fighters. Ahmed al-Dhawrani, the governorate's mobilization official, praised the project for addressing the needs of the underprivileged and honoring frontline fighters, calling it a minimal gesture of appreciation. Faisal al-Hutfi, Director of the Endowments Authority Office, explained that this marks the fifth consecutive year for the Feeding project. He stated that it aims to alleviate suffering and show loyalty to the fighters who prioritize defending Yemen. The initiative reflects the Authority's responsibility to manage endowment funds in line with donors' intentions and to promote Islamic values of social solidarity, mercy, and mutual support. Sana'a discusses mechanism to preserve endowment lands & properties in eastern districts
Sana'a - Saba: A meeting in Sana'a province discussed on Sunday mechanisms to activate the role of local councils in preserving endowment lands and properties in the eastern districts of the province. The meeting, attended by Abdullah Amer, Director of the Endowments Authority Office in the province, and district directors—Saleh Mayad (Jahana), Raad Al-Jamali (Khulan), Hilal Mayad (Al-Husn), and Khalil Abu Alama (Al-Tiyal)—reviewed challenges facing endowment work, particularly the lack of cooperation from some tenants with endowment officials in the districts. Participants emphasized the need to complete the inventory of endowment lands, activate mechanisms to protect them from encroachments, and hold violators accountable by referring them to judicial authorities in accordance with Sharia endowment law. They also stressed the importance of documenting endowment lands in each district, recording any transactions, and ensuring timely collection of endowment revenues. The meeting addressed coordination between district directors, security, and judicial authorities, which serve as supervisory committees for endowment lands , properties at the district level, to inventory endowment assets and follow up on financial dues. It was agreed to appoint revenue collectors at the sub-district level and a treasurer at the district level within a week, as well as addressing the needs of mosques supported by endowments, including water, electricity, cleaning, sound system repairs, and other necessities. Additionally, the meeting approved the establishment of a database window in the districts and notifying holders of viable endowment funds to revive them—otherwise, the funds will be withdrawn and reassigned to others for revitalization. Summer courses inspected in Bani al-Awam district
Hajjah - Saba: Ahmed al-Akhfash, Hajjah Undersecretary for City Districts Affairs, and Hamza Sharaf al-Din, the Executive Director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, on Wednesday inspected the summer courses in Bani al-Awam district. Al-Akhfash and Sharaf al-Din, along with Mobilization Officer Majed Maran and Branch Director of the Endowments Authority Office Mohammed Qatran, listened to an explanation from Sharaf al-Houthi, the Education Sector Officer in the district, about the level of turnout and the progress of summer activities and programs. The visitors urged students to make the most of the summer courses and to seek guidance from God, memorize, and recite the Holy Quran. They emphasized the importance of summer courses for equipping young people with various skills, discovering and refining their talents, developing their academic, cultural, and athletic capabilities, and protecting them from negative, domesticated concepts and the dangers of soft warfare. During the visit, stationery and school supplies were provided by the Cleanliness Fund for the summer courses. In addition, an expanded meeting was held in Bani Al-Awam District, chaired by Deputy Governor Al-Akhfash, to mobilize for summer courses. In the meeting, which included the Executive Director of the Cleanliness Fund, mobilization and education sector officials in the district, and a number of branch directors of executive offices, the Deputy Governor emphasized the importance of encouraging children to enroll in summer schools, which represent a stronghold against the dangers of enemies, soft warfare, and misguided cultures. Taiz symposium honors Imam Ali's martyrdom, draws parallels to modern conflict
Taiz - Saba: A cultural awareness symposium was held at the historic Muadh ibn Jabal Mosque in al-Jand, Taiz province, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib. The event, themed "Imam Ali: Loving Him is Faith, Hating Him is Hypocrisy," was organized by the Guidance Sector, the Endowments Authority Office, and the Scholars and Learners Unit. Province undersecretary Abdulwasie al-Shamsi and other local officials attended the symposium, where Province Planning and Development Officer Mohammed al-Washli emphasized the importance of remembering Imam Ali's life, courage, and dedication to Islam. Al-Washli drew parallels between the conspiracies faced by Imam Ali and the current challenges facing Yemen, highlighting the need for the nation to emulate its great leaders and adhere to their principles. He praised revolution leader's stance and the Yemeni people's support for Palestine and their resistance against "American aggression," stressing the significance of their actions. The symposium also focused on Imam Ali's life, heroism, wisdom, and his close relationship with Prophet Muhammad.
