Millie Bobby Brown, Gabriel LaBelle to Star in Netflix Romantic Comedy ‘Just Picture It' (Exclusive)
Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown and Gabriel LaBelle, who broke out with Steven Spielberg's The Fabelmans, will star in Just Picture It, a romantic comedy set up at Netflix. Lee Toland Krieger, known for helming the drama The Age of Adaline and episodes of Netflix's hit You, will direct the feature. The real glitch? They have yet to meet each other. Veterans Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum are producing Just Picture It. Brown and Robert Brown are also producing, via their PCMA Productions. The project is Brown's first romantic comedy and she has shepherded the project from inception. Executive producing are Alyssa Altman of R/K Films, Jake Bongiovi and Isobel Roberts for PCMA Productions, and David Kern. This is the first feature sale for Lasky, who hails from the TV world. He began his career in New York comedy as a monologue joke writer for The Late Show with David Letterman and later acted as an associate producer on the entire run of the ABC's series Revenge. On top of writing freelance episodes, he wrote and produced all DVD bonus features for the show, and was also hired to write the Revenge spin-off novel that was published by Hyperion. He was also a staff writer on the medical drama Code Black and has sold pilots across town. LaBelle famously starred as a young Steven Spielberg in the director's Oscar-nominated semi-autobiographical drama The Fabelmans. Last year, he was the center of Saturday Night, portraying Lorne Michaels in Jason Reitman's tale of the making of Saturday Night Live's first episode. Brown is a Netflix feature favorite thanks to her enduring role as Eleven in the company's Stranger Things series, which has its fifth and final season arriving in two parts in November. Earlier this year, she starred in the big-budget sci-fi adventure movie The Electric State opposite Chris Pratt, and last year toplined the dragon fantasy Damsel, both for Netlix. Damsel, which she also produced, is number 9 on the streamer's most popular films list (English). She recently wrapped Enola Holmes 3, in which she stars and also executive produced for PCMA. Latest 'Enola Holmes 3' News Includes Malta Filming Updates
Millie Bobby Brown is back in action solving cases as Enola Holmes. After two successful Netflix movies about the younger sleuth sis of Sherlock Holmes, Millie is picking back up her magnifying glass for another adventure in Enola Holmes 3. The movie series also stars Henry Cavill as Sherlock and Helena Bonham Carter as Sherlock and Enola's mother, Eudoria—and two out of these three main actors were just spotted filming the new movie together. This is everything you need to know about Enola Holmes 3. Yes! Netflix confirmed the news in an April 2025 release, saying: Besides Millie and Louis Partridge, Helena Bonham Carter has been spotted filming the series in Malta, so we can expect the return of Enola's mom in the third movie. Notably, Sam Claflin was missing from Enola Holmes 2 in the role of Enola's brother Mycroft Holmes due to scheduling conflicts, so hopefully he would be able to return for a third movie. Enola Holmes 2 director, Harry Bradbeer, said Sam is welcome back. "Well, it was Sam's schedule that became very clear, so Sam was not going to be in it. Enola Holmes 2 ends with the main mystery solved but contained plenty of hints of what could happen next. Moriarty is seen escaping prison, so she'll likely be returning to cause the Holmes family problems. There's also the introduction of Dr. John Watson, who could feature heavily in a third film. Though the Enola Holmes films are inspired by the novel series of the same name by Nancy Springer, they don't tend to follow the plots laid out in the novels exactly, so the books don't necessarily provide a roadmap on what's to come. No official release date has yet been shared Millie Bobby Brown has shared a huge Enola Holmes 3 update as fans say "I'm crying". Enola Holmes is Sherlock Holmes' equally brilliant younger sister and first graced screens back in 2020. It has since become a hit with fans as they wait patiently for the third film, previously confirmed to be in production. Starring Stranger Things star Millie, 21, as the "teen sleuth", the show follows Enola who sets out on a journey to prove herself after being overshadowed by the legacy of her brothers. Enola Holmes 2 was released in 2022 where Enola takes on her first official case as detective. And with a near perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes with 91%, it remains popular for fans of mystery. Now, a huge update has been shared. Millie shared an exclusive behind the scenes insight into Enola Holmes 3 as she revealed a huge update with fans on her Instagram. Posting photos from the set, with cast and crew, she wrote: "case closed." Although no official release date has yet been announced, fans cannot wait. Netflix replied: "omgomgomg" as another fan commented: "EH3 era, here we goooo." A third said: "OH MY GOD WE ARE SO READY." As a fourth echoed: "We are ready for you, Enola!!!" UK film bodies are planning to sit down with the government to discuss Donald Trump's shock plans to slap a 100% tariff on 'any and all' movies produced in 'foreign lands.' The British Film Commission (BFC), which helps promote international film and television production in the UK, said it would hold talks with ministers in the coming days. The British Film Institute (BFI) also said it would discuss the matter with the government. Avengers: Doomsday and Enola Holmes 3 are among the major studio movies currently shooting in UK facilities after U.S. companies spent close to £1.4B ($1.9B) making films in Britain last year. That figure equated to 64% of all UK film production, per BFI data.
