Among them is Sebastien Buemi, who has claimed victory twice on Chinese soil. Now, the drivers have arrived in Shanghai for the upcoming double-header and have taken to social media to share their excitement for the Shanghai E-Prix. Formula E winners who went on to claim victory in China Sebastien Buemi remains the only driver with two wins in China—first at the Beijing E-Prix in Season 2 and then at the Hong Kong E-Prix in Season 3. In a joint post with Buemi, Envision Racing shared a special promo video with the caption: 'Shanghai Shakeup.' The video features snapshots of Buemi and the team, set to Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us. TAG Heuer Porsche's António Félix da Costa, who won one of the two races of the Shanghai double-header last year, is feeling confident. Sharing a photo of his winning celebration on Instagram, Da Costa wrote in Portuguese (translated to English): 'RACE WEEK. Last year we went to Shanghai to get a cup! Let's try to get two this year. See you soon.' Fans were quick to cheer him on. One commented, 'Let's go with everything my dear friend. China will be very nice to you! You are the best champ!' Another added, 'Let's get it.' Jake Hughes, who finished second in Race 2 of the Shanghai E-Prix last year, also shared his enthusiasm. In a joint post with Hughes, the Instagram handle of Maserati MSG Racing posted: 'Double the days. Double the drama. We're racing into rounds 10 & 11 at the iconic Shanghai International Circuit for a double-header this weekend. With a podium in Tokyo behind us and an exciting track this weekend, we are ready to make Shanghai unforgettable!' Nick Cassidy of Jaguar TCS Racing also made his way to the podium after his last appearance in the Formula E World Championship Season 9. He secured the third spot on the podium after starting from a hardly encouraging fourteenth position. The post was shared with the caption: 'Nick Cassidy's #MonacoEPrix Masterclass P14 to P3. Swipe to relive it! @ABBGroup.' A Formula E fan wrote in the comments section, 'P14 to P3? In a Formula E car? In Monaco? In the rain??? That's why I started watching FE, sounds way more fun and competitive than a lot of F1 races.' Another wrote, 'I definitely agree with you. I went to Monaco this weekend and now I am a mega fan of Formula E.' Nick was almost on cloud nine after bagging the podium spot in Monaco after a long time. He said after the Round 7 race, 'It feels very, very sweet. I can't fault my guys — it's been an extremely tough start to the year, it's no secret I've not been the happiest guy at times, but this one feels like a big monkey off the shoulders and I'm really proud of everyone's efforts. Envision Energy unveils India's first race car built entirely from e-waste

Envision Energy has unveiled India's first race car made entirely from electronic waste, in collaboration with environmental nonprofit The 'Recover-E' car is the second such vehicle globally, following a similar prototype launched at the London E-Prix in 2023. Constructed using discarded electronics such as mobile phones, laptops, and tablets, the car is designed to demonstrate the potential of circular design and highlight the growing problem of e-waste in India. The country is the third-largest generator of e-waste globally, according to the Global E-waste Monitor 2024. 'The Recover-E car is not just a concept but a movement towards greener solutions for tomorrow,' said R P V Prasad, managing director of Envision Energy India. He added that the project is a conceptual demonstration of how future cars or car parts could be derived from e-waste. James Mercer, commercial director at Envision Racing, said the initiative is a symbolic representation of e-waste issues and aims to prove that innovation and sustainability can coexist. Envision Racing is part of Envision Energy's Formula E team, which won the Formula E Teams' Championship in 2023. said the initiative aligns with the 55th anniversary of Earth Day and this year's global theme, 'Our Power, Our Planet.' Karuna Singh, regional director for Asia at the organisation, said the project aims to promote clean energy and circular economy practices. While the Recover-E car is not intended for commercial production, Envision said it is meant to spark conversations around responsible consumption and reuse of waste. Envision Energy operates in wind energy, battery storage, and green hydrogen. Its India operations are part of a broader strategy to achieve carbon neutrality across its global value chain by 2028. The company also manages a carbon-neutral fund and has engineering centres across Asia, Europe, and North America. founded in 1970, runs environmental advocacy campaigns worldwide and claims to mobilise over one billion people annually. The Recover-E project is among its key awareness initiatives in India for 2025.

The leader in the Formula E Driver Standings won the Round 6 race and secured second place on the podium in the Round 7 race. He also congratulated Sebastien Buemi of Envision Racing for winning Round 7 and marking his return to the winners' list after a long driver Oliver Rowland shared a bunch of pictures from the Monaco race on Instagram. The first one showed Sebastien Buemi, Rowland, and Nick Cassidy on the podium. He wrote along with it, 'Incredible weekend in Monaco. Winning Saturday's race & second in Sunday's! Lots of points scored and a good way to bounce back after Miami! Thanks to my team, sponsors & family for the great support!'Applauding Buemi for his much-awaited win in Monaco, Rowland further wrote, 'Well done @sebastien_buemi on Sunday's win. He ended up in 10th position at the Miami E-Prix in April with just one point. His double achievement in Monaco made up for what he lost in about his Monaco success, he said, 'We just need to keep pushing. A day after the race, Cassidy made multiple attempts to at least share a post to mark his first Formula E win of the year before finally dropping a bunch of stunning pictures on his Instagram page. Nick Cassidy shares glimpses of his podium win and personal life Nick Cassidy shared a picture of himself holding the trophy at the Monaco E-Prix Round 7 on Instagram on Monday, along with several stunning pictures of his family and more. He wrote, 'Not on here much these days.. No other way around it - been a super tough start to the year and it's great to have an awesome Podium in Monaco with @jaguarracing. 3 years in a row on the steps at home is super special. Thanks to all those in my corner.' Just before dropping the post, he took to his Instagram Stories to share a screenshot of his many attempts at making an Instagram post to assure his followers that he was trying to share at least one post on the special occasion. Nick had won the Monaco E-Prix once in 2023 when he was racing for Envision Racing and had taken the second podium spot in 2024 with Jaguar TCS Racing. Nick Cassidy picked his way through the field from 14th position on the grid to third spot on the podium in the Monaco E-Prix Round 7. He capitalised on a strong energy advantage built early on in the race to yield late progress as he neared the finish line and ended third. Sharing his first reaction after the race, Nick Cassidy said: 'It feels very very sweet.
