KSrelief distributes 2,500 food baskets in Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center recently distributed 2,500 food baskets to families affected by floods in Pakistan's Khairpur, Neelum Valley, Layyah and Lasbela districts. The food baskets benefited 17,500 individuals as part of this year's 'Etaam' food basket distribution project in the country. Now in its fourth phase, the Etaam project aims to distribute more than 390,000 food parcels in 27 countries during Ramadan, benefiting 2.3 million people at a cost of more than SR67 million ($17.8 million). This comes as part of the Kingdom's relief efforts to enhance food security in Pakistan as a result of the humanitarian crisis. Elsewhere, the Saudi agency distributed 2,280 cartons of dates in Al-Mukalla district in Hadramout governorate, Yemen, benefiting 13,680 individuals, including vulnerable and displaced people, along with individuals with special needs. This comes as part of a project to distribute date aid in Yemen this year. The aid comes within the framework of KSrelief's various projects to support the Yemeni people across all governorates without discrimination.

KSrelief delivers aid to Syria, Yemen, Lebanon
RIYADH: Saudi aid agency KSrelief has delivered thousands of food packages to some of the world's most vulnerable people, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday. In Syria, 170 packages were distributed to families in need in the Rif Dimashq governorate as part of the Etaam Ramadan food project. In Yemen, KSrelief distributed 1,300 baskets to vulnerable groups in the Al-Wadi district of the Marib governorate, benefiting 9,100 individuals. In the Aden governorate, 1,188 parcels were given to people with disabilities. The Etaam project in Yemen targets displaced individuals, those in greatest need, and people with disabilities in Aden, Hadramout, Marib, Al-Mahra, Shabwah, and Hajjah, benefiting 160,812 individuals. Now in its fourth phase, the Etaam project aims to distribute more than 390,000 food parcels in 27 countries during Ramadan, benefiting 2.3 million people at a cost of more than SR67 million ($17.8 million). Additionally, KSrelief distributed 564 food baskets to people in need in Deir Ammar, northern Lebanon, benefiting 2,820 individuals. In Syria, KSrelief provided food baskets and hygiene kits to 803 families in Harem, benefiting 4,818 individuals.

KSrelief expands food aid across global crisis zones
RIYADH: The Kingdom's aid agency KSrelief has delivered thousands of food packages to some of the world's most vulnerable people, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday. In Pakistan, 4,790 packages were distributed to families in need across Balochistan, Kashmir, and Punjab as a part of the Etaam Ramadan project, benefiting 32,631 individuals. In Somalia, KSrelief distributed 1,550 packages to vulnerable families in Baidoa, benefiting 6,930 people. Now in its fourth phase, the Etaam project aims to distribute more than 390,000 food parcels in 27 countries during Ramadan, benefiting 2.3 million people at a cost of more than SR67 million ($17.8 million). Additionally, KSrelief provided 600 packages in Port Sudan, benefiting 3,057 impoverished and displaced people. In Lebanon, the Saudi Arabia aid agency distributed 800 packages to needy families in Sidon, benefiting 4,000 individuals.

KSrelief provides aid to Syria, Sudan, Lebanon
RIYADH: Saudi aid agency KSrelief has delivered thousands of food packages to some of the world's most vulnerable people, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday. KSrelief distributed 143 packages to families in need in Qatana city in Rif Dimashq governorate — as part of the Etaam Ramadan Food Basket Project — in the Syrian Arab Republic. KSrelief also provided 259 food baskets to families in Shinshar village in the Homs governorate, benefiting 974 individuals. The Etaam project, which is now in its fourth phase, aims to distribute more than 390,000 food parcels in 27 countries during Ramadan, benefiting 2.3 million people at a cost of more than SR67 million ($17.8 million). In addition, some 430 food packages were distributed in Port Sudan, benefiting 2,395 needy and displaced people in that country. KSrelief also distributed 800 shopping vouchers and 500 food baskets in Akkar governorate, northern Lebanon, helping 3,300 individuals.
