Makeup free Samantha Armytage touches down in Australia looking refreshed and radiant after a month-long getaway to the UK and Morocco following split with husband

Samantha Armytage is positively glowing after enjoying an international trip that spanned over a month. The Golden Bachelor host, who has been sharing various snippets from her time abroad on Instagram, touched down in Australia on Tuesday looking refreshed and radiant after enjoying a Euro summer in the UK and Morocco. Despite the 5am arrival time, Samantha was in good spirits as she made her way through Sydney Airport. The Channel Nine star didn't show any signs of jetlag and was seen smiling and laughing while making her way through the terminal. Samantha glowing makeup free as she pushed a luggage cart around outside of the airport. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Opting for comfort during her long-haul flight, Sam wore a pair of high-waisted blue-wash jeans that flared out at her ankles. She paired the trousers with a beige bomber jacket layered over a matching sweater. She finished the off-duty ensemble with a beige New Yankees cap. The former Sunrise host chose practical shoes for her travels, wearing Philippe Model Paris sneakers in an array of colours. During her time in London, Samantha sent fans wild after sharing pictures of her lookalike sister Georgina. She took to Instagram in May to post a series of photos showing the pair horse riding in Wimbledon Common, located in south-west London. The sisterly duo looked chuffed to be in each other's company for the quaint outing, with the pair beaming broadly as they posed on horseback. Samantha glowing makeup free as she pushed a luggage cart around outside of the airport Samantha and Georgina could be mistaken for twins in the images, with the pair looking almost identical in their near-matching riding helmets. It was a fact not lost on Samantha's 257,000 followers, with many pointing out the striking similarity. 'Twins? You look like twins!' one fan offered, while another chimed in with a similar: 'You and your sister look like twins.' 'I told you that both of you look alike,' a third offered, summing up the sentiment of many. Others were quick to point out just how happy Samantha looked to be in the company of her sister. 'What Fun To B Together Xx U Look Sooo Happy,' one fan swooned. Another offered: 'You look great up there! So good to see you so happy. You deserve it.' Captioning the images, Samantha revealed that she and Georgina had been indulging in their passion for horses since childhood. 'The Armytage sisters have come a long way since Adaminaby Pony Club in the 80's/early 90's. 17,000kms to be precise,' she wrote. 'Probably the first time Daryl Braithwaite has belted out across Wimbledon Common ~ but what fun to womble our way around this morning with Honey, Rosie, Fudge- the -Shetland & the gang. She continued: 'Pls note Georgie's "hands & heels"; a throw back to our PC days…& my Honey; at 17 hands ~ not bad for an old girl with a new hip - the both of us (no wonder I need the steps).' Samantha's UK jaunt comes after she announced her shock split with husband Richard Lavender late last year. Sam and Richard's separation was planned to be leaked to a Sydney newspaper in December, but sources confirmed the news to Daily Mail Australia in advance.

Michelle Trachtenberg's cause of death revealed

The cause of death for actress Michelle Trachtenberg, who died in February, was confirmed to be complications of diabetes mellitus, a spokesperson for the New York City Office of the Medical Examiner confirmed to CNN on Wednesday. Her cause of death was initially ruled as undetermined because her family declined an autopsy, a spokesperson for the medical examiner's office told CNN at the time, and because Trachtenberg's death was not deemed suspicious by law enforcement, the medical examiner's office honored that request, the spokesperson said. Trachtenberg, who was best known for appearing in 'Harriet the Spy,' 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Gossip Girl,' died on February 26 in Manhattan. She was 39. Police responded to a 911 call just after 8 a.m. local time and found a woman unconscious and unresponsive inside a Manhattan apartment. She was later identified as Trachtenberg, an NYPD spokesperson told CNN at the time. EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased. An NYPD source told CNN that Trachtenberg reportedly had a recent medical issue and that her death appeared to be related to natural causes. Her manner of death was ruled as natural, the spokesperson for the medical examiner's office told CNN on Wednesday. Trachtenberg started as a child actor on Nickelodeon in the '90s where she first gained attention with a role on 'The Adventures of Pete & Pete.' She went on to star in Nickelodeon's first feature film, 1996's 'Harriet the Spy,' sharing the screen with Rosie O'Donnell. In 2000, Trachtenberg appeared in the WB hit series 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' playing Dawn Summers, Buffy's (Sarah Michelle Gellar) younger sister. She went on to star in a variety of roles including the raunchy teen comedy 'EuroTrip,' premium cable drama 'Six Feet Under' and the Disney movie 'Ice Princess' before playing the villainous Georgina Sparks on 'Gossip Girl.'

Eurovision: UK entry Remember Monday promises theatrical act

About 200 million viewers, 37 countries taking part and cries of "Nul Points" on the fever has been ramping up with Remember Monday announced as the UK's entry to the world's largest live music with all three members of the group having a background in musical theatre, they know more than most about how to put on a show. "Our performance is theatrical," Holly-Anne Hull tells BBC Newsbeat, as Lauren Byrne adds: "We haven't shied away from it". Despite the pressure of years of disappointing results for the UK, the trio, completed by Charlotte Steele, have been busy in rehearsals and say they're "feeling good" about their chances in Basel, the exception of Sam Ryder's second place in 2022, the UK's been stuck in the bottom half of the leader board for a decade - even the star power of Olly Alexander couldn't pull the country higher than break out of the rut needs a roll of the dice and Holly-Anne says "we were a real risk".Not least because they hadn't even written their entry when they found out they'd be representing the country."That was really scary - finding out we got it and we were like: 'But what do we sing?'" The song they've gone for, What The Hell Just Happened?, crosses a few different genres, including country, pop and, of course, musical theatre. It may be risky, but Remember Monday aren't the only ones feeling confident it could break them into the top half of the leaderboard."I think all the evidence points towards a better result at Eurovision this year," Euro Trip podcast host, Rob Lilley-Jones, tells a country background, Remember Monday can bring something "a little bit different for the UK", he says."No other country is doing anything like this at Eurovision this year."Lauren says the group's love of country can be traced through to their passion for storytelling through music and they've already been making waves in the year they were recognised as best trio by the British Country Music Association and have toured the US as well as the UK, racking up hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify along the way. Rather than a public vote, the entry was chosen by a team made up of UK record labels, publishers, songwriters, BBC Music and BBC Introducing. They worked closely with Sam Ryder's manager, David May, in the hope he could find another contender for the top spot. Since Remember Monday were unveiled as the UK entry, reaction has been largely positive on social media, but after a difficult few years in the competition there is some scepticism Holly-Anne and Charlotte found out in December they'd be heading to the 69th Eurovision competition in Switzerland."Andrew [Cartmell, the BBC's head of delegation for the UK] was like: 'So first things first girls, what are you doing in May next year?'," Lauren says of the day they found out. Charlotte received the news while visiting her grandad in hospital while Lauren was parked up at a service station."We just go dead silent and just release so many tears," Holly-Anne says."We were just sobbing. It's so surreal." 'It's our version of shopping' Like former entrants Sam Ryder and Mae Muller, they credit TikTok with getting their got more than half a million followers on the app with a combined 11.3 million likes across their videos."It really has changed our lives - without sounding too dramatic," Charlotte says. "We started posting in lockdown and when we came out we put on a gig, our first one in a long time, and it sold out in like 24 hours."They thought it was their families who "spent a lot of money on tickets"."We walked out on stage and we didn't recognise anyone - it was all new faces."It was that gig that spurred us on to do this full-time." It's only been about 18 months since they decided to take the plunge and focus fully on the band but they go back much further. First meeting at school in Hampshire, the trio used to skip classes to practise instead."We have been singing for years and years for fun because we adore singing with each other," says Holly-Anne. "It's our version of shopping or getting our nails done."They hope that legacy of friendship will be the secret to going the distance in this year's competition."We have each other, we are best mates, we're each other's therapists."Remember Monday also marks the first time since a girl group has represented the UK in more than 25 years and podcast host Rob thinks this might give them an edge too."It's going to be really exciting to follow their journey all the way through to Switzerland."I don't know if Remember Monday are going to win Eurovision, there are so many different things there at play - but I think we've got a good chance," he says.
