Lotto winner is third Kerry player to secure major cash prize in one week
Kerryman A Kerry player has become the third person from the Kingdom to win a lotto prize in less than a week by securing more than €250,000 on Saturday. The lucky player won a prize of €259,089 after matching five numbers and the bonus in the main Lotto draw on Saturday night. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased from Daybreak in Kenmare on June 5. On Friday (June 6), a Kerry player won the Telly Bingo Snowball prize worth €60,019. The winning ticket was sold in Cahill's SuperValu in Ballybunion, where former post mistress and Asdee woman Mairead Doyle purchased a Quick Pick ticket that won €30,570 in January. Last Tuesday (June 3), another Kerry player won €500,000 after matching all five numbers in the Euromillions Plus draw.
