Dogs Trust Glasgow hosting first-ever Experience Day
The charity's first-ever Experience Day will run from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, July 19, offering dog lovers the chance to see the day-to-day goings on at the Glasgow rehoming centre.
This event will include a tour of the facilities, a chance to meet some of the dogs looking for new homes, and the opportunity to help create enrichment activities for the dogs.

Kayleigh Maclean, supporter relations officer at Dogs Trust Glasgow, said: "This is the first Experience Day we have ever hosted, so we are excited to be opening our doors to provide dog lovers with a unique doggy experience.
"Attendees will be given a behind-the-scenes tour of our centre, enjoy a cuppa with staff, and, of course, the stars of the show will be the pawsome dogs that are in our care, waiting to be adopted.
"You can assist staff with creating enrichment activities for our dogs and see a current resident during playtime to see the fun they have when exercising.
"We look forward to welcoming visitors who are interested in our work, our dogs, and are keen to learn more about life at Dogs Trust Glasgow."

While the event is open to anyone aged 14 and over, the charity asks that visitors do not bring their own pets.
The Dogs Trust Glasgow team is currently caring for 70 dogs, with 59 at the rehoming centre and 11 in foster homes.
