F1 Driver Standings: Oscar Piastri stays on top, Lewis Hamilton moves up after Imola

At the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on Sunday, Norris managed to surpass Piastri and secure second place on the podium, pushing Piastri to the third spot. As a result, Norris now trails Piastri by only a small margin in the Driver Standings with 133 points. Max Verstappen claimed his second race win of the season on Sunday but remains in third place overall with 124 points. One more win for Verstappen could be enough to overtake Norris and move into second position in the Driver Standings. Speaking about Sunday's race, Norris told 'Max drove a good race today. We had a good little battle at the end between Oscar and myself, which is always tense, but always good fun. For us as a team, second and third is great. Mercedes driver George Russell continues to hold fourth place in the Driver Standings with 99 points, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc remains in fifth position with 61 points. The statement read: 'Charles is feeling unwell and will not be coming to the track today. He will rest and focus on recovering and we expect him to be in the car tomorrow.' Some fans expressed concern about whether Leclerc would be fit in time for Friday's practice session. 'Who is the reserve driver if he can't make it this weekend?' asked one X user. Lando Norris had recently taken the second spot on the podium at the Miami Grand Prix, with Verstappen finishing in fourth position. Unlike his teammate Oscar Piastri, who has won four out of the five races this season, Norris has been openly talking about why he has not been able to clinch a win in the recent races. Mercedes unveiled the new suits for F1 via a stunning photo shoot in Miami — and they nailed it to the T. One of the pictures shows Russell and Kimi Antonelli chilling by the poolside in their new suits and joining them in front of the camera are F1 reserve driver Valtteri Bottas and Mercedes Junior team driver Doriane Pin. The caption read: 'Dressed to impress.' The pictures show Russell and Antonelli along with Doriane Pin and Valtteri Bottas. Doriane is part of the Mercedes Junior Team. She is set to compete in the F1 Academy and the Formula Regional European Championship with Prema Racing. Bottas is the reserve driver for F1 Mercedes. The look got a thumbs-up from fans, who were all praise for them on Instagram. A fan wrote, 'I love to see the trio rocking that pink together.'
