Tennessee Titans sign fourth-round WR Chimere Dike to rookie contract

The Tennessee Titans finalized a contract with another one of their nine-man 2025 NFL draft class on Friday by coming to terms with fourth-round selection WR Chimere Dike on a four-year deal. An explosive wideout with the ability to challenge defenses with his deep speed, Dike is versatile and is willing to do all of the dirty work for an offense, and add a dimension to the offense that the team lacked in 2024. The Titans had limited production out of the slot in 2024, and Dike appears to be a significant upgrade over Tyler Boyd. Advertisement Dike could also add a spark on special teams. Proving to be a dynamic return man who could give Tennessee the type of weapon they lacked last season. So far in OTAs, he has been turning heads, is developing a strong chemistry with Cam Ward, and has the look of a player who could make a difference. Now that Dike has signed his rookie contract, that leaves second-round pick Femi Oladejo as the only member of their nine-man draft class left unsigned. With the Titans heading into their mandatory minicamp, they would likely want to get that contract done. Tennessee Titans' Mike Borgonzi explains unexpected approach to Day 2 of 2025 NFL draft

Tennessee Titans' Mike Borgonzi explains unexpected approach to Day 2 of 2025 NFL draft #Titans GM Mike Borgonzi discusses their 2nd round edge Femi Oladejo and 3rd round safety Kevin Winston Jr. He says Oladejo 'just loves football' and with Winston, they felt confident with the doctors' opinion that 'he'll be ready for training camp' — Lauren Walsh (@lauwalsh10) April 26, 2025 While many believed adding weapons would be the order of the day, the Tennessee Titans surprised many in their fan base by spending both of their Day 2 selections in the 2025 NFL draft on the defensive side of the ball. After listening to general manager Mike Borgonzi talk about those picks, the reasoning became clear. 'Two guys that we felt brought competitive juice to the defense,' he said. 'And physical tone setters as well.' The Titans' defense struggled in 2024 against the run and was often manhandled by offenses. Both of the Day 2 selections have the physicality and demeanor to make a difference as rookies in Nashville. "He can set the edge, he's physical, violent," Borgonzi said while talking about second-round pick Femi Oladejo. When talking about the selection of Winston, Borgonzi shared similar sentiments. "He's a tough, physical player who would have gone a little higher in the draft. He had the ACL in September, and we felt comfortable with the doctors that he would be ready here, ready for training camp," he said. Tennessee enters Day 3 of the 2025 NFL draft with six picks and has some assets to make some moves. Stay tuned for all of the action once the draft kicks off at noon from Green Bay, Wisconsin.

UCLA EDGE Femi Oladejo has meeting with Arizona Cardinals

UCLA EDGE Femi Oladejo has meeting with Arizona Cardinals The Cardinals have their eye on a pass rusher who only has one year at the position after playing off the ball. UCLA edge defender Femi Oladejo is an intriguing pass-rushing prospect in the 2025 NFL draft. The Arizona Cardinals have some interest in him. Oladejo revealed in an interview with The Draft Network's Justin Melo that one of his top-30 visits is with the Cardinals. He has visits also scheduled with the Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Las Vegas Raiders, Baltimore Ravens, and Philadelphia Eagles, as well as others. What makes Oladejo intriguing is that he played only one season as an edge defender. He played off the ball as a linebacker until 2024. He moved to the edge so Carson Schwesinger could play linebacker. He had 4.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss in his one season on the edge. He is 6-foot-3 and 259 pounds with 33 3/8-inch arms. He is just scratching the surface, having played only 11 games as an edge guy, including the Senior Bowl. He won't be drafted in the first round, but a team might like the upside enough to take him Day 2. What makes him intriguing for the Cardinals is the fact that he has experience playing off the ball, and they like their edge defenders to drop into coverage at times. Oledejo won't be fazed by that, much like Zaven Collins. If the Cardinals don't take a pass rusher early, pay attention to Oladejo's name as the draft progresses. He might end up a guy they target. Arizona Cardinals meet with Big Ten converted pass rusher at NFL combine

Arizona Cardinals meet with Big Ten converted pass rusher at NFL combine Check out what Big Ten pass rusher had an informal meeting with the Cardinals at the combine. The Arizona Cardinals have met with a number of draft prospects at the NFL combine this past week. One such player is linebacker Femi Oladejo. He told reporters at his media interview at the combine that he had an informal meeting with the Cardinals. Oladejo played two seasons at Cal and his final two seasons for UCLA. He converted from playing off the ball to playing the defensive edge. Last season, with UCLA in the Big Ten for the first time, had 4.5 sacks, 14 tackles for loss and 57 total tackles. He is 6-foot-3 and 259 pounds. At the combine, he posted a 36.5-inch vertical leap, a 10-foot broad jump and 20 bench press reps at 225 pounds. He did not run the 40-yard dash. He will likely be a late-day pick considering he is still developing as an edge rusher. But because the Cardinals need multiple players at the player, he could be a target for the Cardinals.
