Marcos jokes about Cabinet shakeup during speech
President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr on Thursday joked about the recent Cabinet shakeup, which was his latest directive aimed at recalibrating his administration.
At the start of his speech during the presentation of newly enacted laws, Marcos greeted the attendees, mostly government officials, and said, ''Teka, may laman pa ba 'yung Gabinete ko?'' Who am I addressing now? We are in flux.''

The President's call for courtesy resignation covers all Cabinet secretaries, heads of agencies with cabinet ranks, as well as presidential advisers.
Marcos' pronouncement came after his statement that the results of Eleksyon 2025 had shown that the people are "tired of politics and they are disappointed with the government."
Hours after Marcos' order, some Cabinet secretaries have already submitted their courtesy resignations, including Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
