Guernsey FC relegated despite 3-0 win during final game of season

Guernsey FC will be relegated from the Isthmian South Central league despite winning 3-0 in their final game of the season. The Green Lions beat Harrow Borough away on Saturday afternoon (26 April) but other games within the league meant they couldn't break above the relegation line. Nearest rivals, Metropolitan Police, won their game against Sutton Common Rovers (2-0) which secured their survival and ensuring Guernsey went down. It means they end the season on 42 points - just one below Binfield who sit in the last of the safe positions. Jacob Fallaize scored the Lion's first goal during the 15th minute giving Guernsey an early lead. Fin Du Port doubled that lead in the 44th minute thanks to a cross from Brandon Wallace The final goal came from Charlton Gauvain just two minutes into the second half.
