Harry Styles Joins Several Musical Legends Thanks To His Vinyl Success
The Official Charts Company is celebrating a major milestone, and the chart compiler has been pulling back the curtain to reveal which artists have ruled one of the U.K.'s most competitive tallies for the past decade. In honor of the vinyl chart's 10-year anniversary, the organization has shared a list of the bestselling new vinyl albums (meaning non-catalog titles) in the country since 2015. As expected, Taylor Swift dominates the list, but she's not the only major name with more than one winner. Harry Styles also manages to appear multiple times inside the ranking's top 10, as his fans don't just snap up the music he releases – they make sure to do so in huge numbers on vinyl. Styles snags a pair of placements inside the top 10 on the Official Charts Company's ranking of the most-purchased new vinyl albums of the past 10 years in the U.K. Unsurprisingly, only two other artists can claim the same. His most recent full-length, Harry's House, leads the charge at No. 3. Not far behind is Fine Line, which lands at No. 6 on the list. That collection marked a turning point in Styles' solo career, featuring smashes like 'Watermelon Sugar' and 'Adore You,' both of which helped establish him not just as a rocker, but also a pop star in his own right. Styles' two bestsellers put him in the company of Taylor Swift and David Bowie. Both musical giants also claim more than one title inside the top 10. Looking beyond just the loftiest tier, Styles accrues one more bestseller. All three of his solo studio albums appear inside the top 20. His debut self-titled set, Harry Styles, isn't quite a top 10 performer, but it does come in at No. 17. Thanks at least in part to vinyl sales, Styles' albums have also found success on the main Official Albums chart in the U.K., which tracks total consumption. Harry's House made a grand entrance at No. 1 and remained a favorite for months. Fine Line came close to doing the same, peaking at No. 2 – his only miss – while Harry Styles also reached the summit back in 2017.

Must-see concerts this week: Jack White, AC/DC, Grant Hart tribute
Stadium tours, tributes to Twin Cities music greats, and a whole lot of other musicians are coming through the Twin Cities over the next handful of days. Here are the concerts worth catching during the week of April 7. Monday, April 7, and Tuesday, April 8 at Palace Theatre It was just last fall that Jack White appeared at First Avenue for an underplay shortly after the release of No Name. Now, the tour is circling back around to some bigger venues. During his two-night stand at the Palace, don't expect an epically long concert. He prefers to keep audiences wanting more. While the shows are sold out, there will be low-cost student tickets available at the door. But, if past setlists are any indication, there will be plenty of White Stripes songs. Thursday, April 10 at First Avenue Alan Sparhawk (of Low) released his first solo record last year (if we're not counting 2006's Solo Guitar). A persistent experimenter, White Roses, My God wasn't uncharted territory, but it was a departure from what fans expected from Low. Now, he's announced a collaborative album with fellow Duluth musicians Trampled By Turtles. But before that record arrives, he'll headline First Avenue in a co-bill with Mount Eerie. The prolific and elastic Phil Elverum project is a nice pairing with Sparhawk. Saturday, April 12 at Fine Line The quartet has come a long way since they went viral for a performance of their song "Racist, Sexist, Boy" at the LA Public Library years ago. They came through the Twin Cities last summer, opening for Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, and Rancid at Target Field. Now, following the release of their second album, No Obligation, they're headlining Fine Line on Record Store Day. For the record-buying holiday, they'll be doing a signing at Electric Fetus earlier in the April 10 at U.S. Bank Stadium AC/DC's first U.S. tour in a while will kick off at U.S. Bank Stadium. They may be in their '70s, but they're still at it and have, perhaps surprisingly, managed to continue ringing the bell for new generations. (See: My daughter.) Thursday, April 10 at Cloudland Theater In a benefit for LA Wildfire Relief, the long-running Twin Cities rock outfit Rank Strangers will headline a tribute to the late Hüsker Dü drummer and solo artist Grant Hart. This Is Why Harry Styles Was 'Devastated' By This SNL Comedian's Impersonation Of Him
Saturday Night Live comic Chloe Fineman was a viral sensation thanks to her celebrity impersonations before she was even cast on the long-running sketch comedy show. However, it seems there's one star she's never quite been able to nail. On the red carpet of the SNL 50th anniversary celebration over the weekend, Chloe began her interview with Amelia Dimoldenberg by delivering an impression of the Chicken Shop Date host. 'It's like I'm looking in the mirror right now,' Amelia responded, before asking the comic if there was 'an impersonation that you can't crack'. 'You just now,' Chloe quipped, before recalling that one SNL host was a little disappointed when she tried to impersonate him. She admitted: '[My] Harry Styles is really bad. I did it [for him when] he was at the table, and he was so devastated by how bad it was.' Chloe then slipped into her impersonation of the former One Direction singer and… yeah, we can kind of see where he's coming from, to be honest. Watch Chloe's interview with Amelia Dimoldenberg at around the 18:43 mark in the video below: Harry performed double duty as SNL host and musical guest back in 2019, to promote his second album Fine Line. At the time, he received praise for his performances in the comedy sketches, with one in particular – in which he played the social media manager for the frozen dessert company Sara Lee – going viral on social media. Chloe previously showed off her impression of Harry back in 2022, and we're going to be honest, it's not one that appears to have especially improved with time.
