Following the 2024-25 women's college basketball season, LSU Tigers guard Flau'Jae Johnson may have had a lot of people nervous. On Saturday, Johnson posted a parting message to LSU and her teammates, hinting at an upcoming announcement. Many fans were left concerned that she may be entering the portal herself after not declaring for the 2025 WNBA Draft. "To Louisiana State University, I'm forever indebted for the opportunity to pursue my dreams," Johnson wrote on Instagram. "Stay tuned for a major announcement soon... 4 junior year out!" Fortunately for Tigers fans, the big announcement has come, and it wasn't about her transferring. Instead, Flau'jae, the musical artist, will be performing at the "DLow Curry Tour" with rapper BossMan DLow. "BIG 4 x @bossman_dlow 🔥🔥🔥 WE IN BOSTON TONIGHT," Johnso wrote on Instagram. "Alright y'all, the moment you've all been waiting for," Johnson said. "First, I want to thank my fans. I want to thank everybody who's been supporting me for the longest. With that being said, I will be entering my name into the lineup for BossMan DLow's new tour. Flau'Jae, I'm going on tour. We in Boston tonight. Pull up on me." SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Savannah native and Louisiana State University women's basketball star Flau'jae posted to multiple social media accounts on April 12 she was 'out' at LSU. The post means she is leaving LSU, but she did not specify her plans for the future. Towards the end of the Instagram post, she said, 'Stay tuned for a major announcement soon.' Johnson has a couple of options at her disposal. She can enter the transfer portal or declare for the WNBA draft. The post also said, 'To Louisiana State Univesity, I'm forever indebted for the opportunity to pursue my dreams.' Johnson played in 34 of LSU's 37 games, starting each game she appeared in. The guard was the second leading scorer on the Lady Tigers (18.6) behind Aneesah Morrow by one-tenth of a point. She was also tied for the second on the team in minutes played per game.
