Man dies in crash that closed 6th Avenue in Aurora Monday afternoon
DENVER (KDVR) — A man is dead following a crash Monday afternoon in Aurora. According to a report from the Aurora Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of East 6th Avenue and Moline Street just after 2 p.m. after a 911 caller reported a crash. See the latest traffic conditions in Denver on FOX31 A Ford Fusion and a Nissan Altima, each with one occupant, were involved in the crash. The police department said a man who was driving one of the vehicles was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries but died shortly after arrival. His identity will be determined by the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office. The other driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Westbound 6th Avenue was closed due to the crash, but eastbound traffic was not affected, police said. Police said at about 3:30 p.m., they had no estimate for when the road would reopen. Hobbs teen killed, 6 others injured in crash in Seminole
GAINES COUNTY, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating after a teen from Hobbs, New Mexico was killed and six other people were injured late last week in a crash in Gaines County. According to a crash report, around 3:15 pm on May 30, troopers were called to the area of County Road 208 and County Road 225 after a two-vehicle collision. Investigators said a Ford Fusion, driven by a 38-year-old Man from Hobbs, was traveling eastbound on CR 208, while a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 34-year-old man from Seminole was heading southbound on CR 225. According to DPS, the driver of the Ford Fusion disregarded a stop sign at the intersection of CR 225 and was struck by the pickup truck. As a result of the crash, both vehicles rolled. The left back passenger, a 13-year-old boy from Hobbs, was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled; he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Fusion, as well as the front seat passenger, a 36-year-old woman, along with two backseat passengers, an eight-year-old girl, and 10-year-old girl, all of Hobbs, were all taken to a Lubbock hospital with serious injuries. Man hospitalized after buggy hit-and-run crash in Sanilac County
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan State Police are searching for a vehicle they believe rear-ended a buggy Friday evening on the eastern side of the state, seriously injuring both the horse and the man inside. Troopers were sent to the area of Peck Rd. and Isles Rd. in Sanilac County at around 6:22 p.m. Friday for a crash involving a car and buggy. Police say a 32-year-old man in a buggy traveling east on Peck Rd. was rear-ended by a white passenger car that did not stop after the crash. Both the man and the horse sustained 'serious' injuries, police say. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment. Investigators are looking for a white or light-colored 2010-2014 Ford Fusion with front end damage. Police searching for driver in buggy hit-and-run in Sanilac County
Police are looking for a driver who hit a horse and buggy about 6:20 p.m. Friday, May 30 in Flynn Township. Rescue crews were dispatched to the area of Peck and Isles roads where a 35-year-old man was eastbound on Peck Road when his buggy was rear-ended by a white passenger car, according to a post from the Michigan State Police. The vehicle did not stop and both the buggy driver and horse were seriously injured. The man was transported to a local hospital. Troopers are looking for a white or light colored 2010-2014 Ford Fusion with front end damage. Albert Lea boy injured in Hayward crash
May 30—A 7-year-old boy was injured Thursday afternoon after a crash on Freeborn County Road 46 in Hayward. The child, Jeremiah Sierra McCormick, was taken by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff's Office. The crash report stated the child was one of three passengers in a 2013 Cadillac XTS driven by Karena Danielle Sierra, 26, of Albert Lea. Sierra and the other passengers, Anarcah Amirah McCormick, 3, and Naleiah Adelite McCormick, 1, were not injured. According to the report, the Cadillac was westbound on Freeborn County Road 46 approaching 810th Avenue when a 2010 Ford Fusion, driven by Calli Ann Nelson, 20, of Glenville reportedly pulled out from a stop sign in the southbound lane on 810th Avenue and the two vehicles collided in the intersection. The vehicles then crashed into a 2008 Freightliner, driven by Kidaneaale Dejene, 40, of Minneapolis, that was eastbound on County Road 46 and waiting to turn southbound on 810th Avenue. The crash occurred at 1:10 p.m. Thursday.
