Woman fighting for life after horror three-car crash in Logan
A woman is fighting for her life after a violent three-vehicle crash at an intersection. Emergency services rushed to the intersection of Teviot Road and Cusack Lane in South Maclean, Queensland, just after 8pm on Friday, where a white Ford Falcon allegedly entered the intersection and collided with a turning Hyundai i30 before crashing into a silver Mazda 2. The driver of the Hyundai i30, a woman in her 20s, was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane with life-threatening injuries. Her passenger, along with five people in the Falcon and two from the Mazda, escaped with minor injuries. The Forensic Crash Unit is probing the scene, with early investigations focusing on whether speed played a role. Policelink or calling 131 444.

Teenager dies in horrific car crash after hitting power pole
A man has died following a single-vehicle traffic crash in rural north Queensland. Police allege that the crash happened after the silver Toyota Hilux left the road on Peak Downs Highway at Moranbah, about 194km west of Mackay about 11:30am on Friday. Emergency services were called to a crash, at the scene, they arrived to find the Hilux had hit a power pole. The passenger of the Hilux, an 18-year-old Balberra man, sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the Hilux, an 18-year-old Beaconsfield man, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Moranbah Hospital for assessment. The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash. Anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam vision is urged to contact police. Young man killed, another injured in horror Hilux crash south-west of Brisbane
A man in his 20s has died and another is injured after a horror traffic crash in Springfield Central south-west of Brisbane. Emergency services were called at 11pm on Wednesday to a collision involving a silver Toyota Hilux at the Sinnathamby Boulevard and University Drive intersection in the small town of Springfield Central, south-west of Brisbane. The passenger of the Hilux, a man aged in his 20s, sustained 'critical injures' as a result of the crash according to Queensland police. He was treated by paramedics but was later declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the Hilux, a man in his 30s, suffered 'minor injuries". He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for assessment. The Forensic Crash Unit is currently investigating the circumstances of the crash. Authorities have urged anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the traffic crash to contact police on 131 444.

Woman killed, young girls injured in Qld single-vehicle crash
A 35-year-old woman is dead and two young children are in hospital following a single-vehicle accident in Queensland's Somerset region on Monday. Emergency services were called to Sandy Creek Rd, Sandy Creek — about an hour's drive west of Caloundra — about 4.50pm following reports a white Toyota Landcruiser had crashed into a tree. The driver, a 35-year-old Sandy Creek woman, died at the scene. A two-year-old girl suffered a minor injury while a six-year-old girl sustained a serious but non-life-threatening injury. Both were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and have appealed for anyone with information or dashcam footage of the crash to contact Queensland Police.

Pilot dies in second aviation crash on the Darling Downs within two weeks
A man has died in a glider crash in Queensland's Darling Downs region, the second fatal aviation crash for the region in the past two weeks. Emergency services were called to a field near Wainui Soldiers Road at Bowenville about 6:30pm on Wednesday. The site is near the Darling Downs Soaring Club. The 56-year-old pilot, who was the sole occupant, died at the scene. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating, and police will prepare a report for the coroner. It is the second fatal aircraft crash on the Darling Downs this month, after pilots Wayne Saunders and Robert Molony were killed in a light plane crash near Oakey on July 20. More to come.
