Miley Cyrus Says She's Got Something ‘Really Special' Planned For ‘Hannah Montana' 20th Anniversary

Miley Cyrus can't quit Hannah Montana. The singer who rose to fame playing the teen who secretly moonlighted as pop star Montana on the show that debuted on the Disney Channel on March 24, 2006, told SiriusXM's TikTok Radio recently that she's working on something 'really, really special' to commemorate the series' 20th anniversary. 'I want to design something really, really special for it because it really was the beginning of all of this that now sits here today,' Cyrus said to host Chris Olsen about the show's March 2026 anniversary. 'Without Hannah, there really wouldn't be this kind of… this me. It's so crazy to think, too, that I started as a character that I thought was going to be impossible to shed. And now that's something that when I walk into a space, it's looked at as this sense of nostalgia or something that you have from your childhood, but I've now been as kind of integrated into everyone's life as the character itself. So that's exciting to get to celebrate that.' New start times for Las Vegas F1 race causes concern among business owners

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix announced it would have an earlier start time, and some business owners are not happy. It will start at 8:00 p.m. this coming November, and the other days will also start two hours early. For some, it is a welcome change. For others, like the businesses suing Formula 1 and Clark County over lost revenue, it is another wrongdoing. They are worried those earlier start times will bring earlier road closures and make it even more difficult to get to and from work, which could lead to less money coming in. Lisa Mayo-DeRiso, spokesperson for the businesses including Battista's Hole in the Wall and Jay's Market, said they were blindsided. 'They didn't talk to any of our business owners about it. I know that for sure,' Mayo-DeRiso said. Mayo-DeRiso took to the podium at a Clark County Commission meeting, telling leaders that some of those business owners lost more money during last year's race than the first one in 2023. 'Jay's market, I believe, lost more because they put up that bridge,' Mayo-DeRiso said. 'So now he was blocked on both sides. I know, Battista's for the first time in history, actually closed the restaurant a couple of nights.' Right now, they want more communication from the Grand Prix. 'I just think there should be transparency and openness and dialog and honesty with this whole entire process, and I don't believe any of that has existed at all,' Mayo-DeRiso said. F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix sent a statement to 8 News Now, saying: All track session times for the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2025 will begin two hours earlier than the previous year. This adjustment is based on feedback, insights and experience from the first two races, expanding opportunities for fans to explore the destination and continuing to engage with more fans across the US. Details on the event and road closure schedules will be shared in the coming months. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
