Trump gifts Musk gold key to White House in Oval Office sendoff
President Trump gifted outgoing adviser Elon Musk with a gold key to the White House on Friday, lauding his service in the administration. 'Elon gave an incredible service. There's nobody like him, and he had to go through the slings and the arrows, which is a shame, because he's an incredible patriot,' Trump said during an Oval Office presser, adding that Americans 'appreciate' his work. Throughout his tenure as a White House adviser and special government employee, Musk led the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in seeking spending reductions, cuts to the federal workforce and closures of federal agencies. As a result, protests across the country took place as people decried job losses and constrained access to services. Although the tech giant served for only 130 days, he said the mission of DOGE will continue amid his departure. 'This is not the end of DOGE, but really the beginning,' Musk told reporters. 'The DOGE team will only grow stronger over time. The DOGE influence will only go stronger,' Musk added. 'It is permeating throughout the government, and I am confident that, over time, we will see a trillion dollars of savings and a reduction in — a trillion dollars of waste and fraud reduction.' Vice President Vance previewed that sentiment last month. 'DOGE has got a lot of work to do. And yeah, that work is going to continue after Elon leaves,' he told Fox News' 'Fox & Friends' in April. 'But fundamentally, Elon is going to remain a friend and an adviser of both me and the president. 'And he's done a lot of good things. People don't realize how vast and uncontrolled the bureaucracy was,' the vice president continued. 'We've started to chip away at it, but there's a lot of work to do. It's not going to happen all in six months, it's going to take a long and committed effort.' The president previously gifted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a gold key as reported in Jared Kushner's memoir 'Breaking History.' The total number of golden keepsakes gifted by the president is unknown. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Video: FBI reveals shocking new info on Jeffrey Epstein ‘suicide'
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced on Thursday that the FBI is planning to release a video that will allegedly confirm that wealthy sex offender Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in his jail cell at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. Earlier this month, Bongino claimed that after reviewing Epstein's file, it was clear that the deceased sex offender 'killed himself.' During a Thursday appearance on 'Fox & Friends,' Bongino said, 'I'm just telling you what we see in the file. I just want to be crystal clear on this. I am not asking anyone to believe me. I'm telling you what's there and what isn't.' Bongino confirmed that there was video evidence pointing to Epstein's death by suicide, saying, 'There's going to be a disclosure on this coming shortly.' Asked by 'Fox & Friends' co-host Lawrence Jones if there was a video of Epstein killing himself,' Bongino said, 'No, no, not the actual act, but the entire MCC [Metropolitan Correctional Center] bay. It was only one camera. There's video that, when you look at the video — and we will release, that's what's taken a while on this.' READ MORE: Video: Epstein 'killed himself,' Trump's FBI directors say Bongino told Fox News that the FBI is working to provide an 'enhanced' video regarding the Epstein case; however, he added that the agency is also planning on releasing the 'original' video so that people do not think 'there were any shenanigans' with regard to video editing. 'You will see no one in there but him. There's just nobody there,' Bongino said. 'So I say to people all the time — if you have a tip, let us know — but there's no DNA, there's no audio, there's no fingerprints, there's no suspects, there's no accomplices, there's no tips. There is nothing. If you have it, I'm happy to see it.' 'There's video clear as day,' the FBI deputy director added. 'He's the only person in there and the only person coming out. You can see it.' FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino says video exists that seems to show Jeffrey Epstein killed himself and it will be released publicly. — ALX 🇺🇸 (@alx) May 29, 2025 Last month, FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed Epstein's death as a 'suicide' and dismissed other theories regarding the infamous sex offender's death. However, despite the FBI director's insistence that Epstein died by suicide and was not murdered, the sex offender's brother, Mark Epstein, has continued to argue that 'there's a long list of things that point away' from Jeffrey Epstein's death being a suicide.

Bongino vows video release showing ‘no one was there but' Epstein
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino vowed to release a video showing that no one was around disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein when he died in 2019 by apparent suicide. 'I just want to be crystal clear on this. I am not asking anyone to believe me. I'm telling you what's there and what isn't right,' Bongino told Fox News on Thursday morning. 'There is nothing in the file at this point on the Epstein case, and there is going to be a disclosure on this coming shortly.' He added that the agency is reviewing the footage that will be released to the public. 'Fox & Friends' co-host Lawrence Jones then asked, 'There's video of killing himself?' 'No, no, not the actual act, but the entire MCC Bay. It was only one camera. There's video that when you look at the video and we will release, that's what's taken a while on this,' Bongino explained. 'We are working on cleaning it up to make sure you have an enhanced and we're going to give the original so you don't think there were any shenanigans.' 'You're going to see there's no one there but him,' the deputy FBI director added. His remarks come less than two weeks after he and FBI Director Kash Patel dismissed conspiracy theories surrounding the long-debated Epstein case and told Fox News's Maria Bartiromo that 'he killed himself.' 'I have seen the whole file. He killed himself,' Bongino said during the joint interview with Patel that was recorded in the FBI's J. Edgar Hoover Building in Washington. Epstein's death came as he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Since then, conspiracy theories around his death have proliferated and questions have been raised about the alleged sex trafficking of minors and involvement of other individuals. Even after pleading guilty to solicitation charges in 2008, Epstein — who owned a Caribbean island, mansions and a private jet — would still often rub elbows with wealthy and powerful people. Epstein's ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, an alleged co-conspirator in the sex trafficking scheme, was convicted on several charges in 2021, including transportation of a minor for illegal sexual activity and sex trafficking. Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence. Bongino said Thursday morning that the FBI is open to receiving new tips about the case, but that the current evidence in their possession points to a suicide by Epstein. 'There's just nobody there. So I say to people, if you have a tip, let us know. But there's no DNA, there's no audio, there's no fingerprints, there's no suspects, there's no accomplices, there's no tips. There is nothing,' he told the panel. 'If you have it, I'm happy to see it,' Bongino continued, reiterating why he believes Epstein was solo. 'There's video clear as day. He's the only person in there and the only person coming out. You can see it.'

FBI will soon release video that proves Jeffrey Epstein was not murdered: ‘Clear as day'
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino promised Thursday to release new video that finally debunks conspiracy theories that sex predator Jeffrey Epstein could have been murdered — insisting 'no one was there but him' at the time of his jail cell suicide. 'There's video clear as day,' Bongino told Fox News' 'Fox & Friends' early Thursday. 'He's the only person in there and the only person coming out. You can see it.' FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino promised Thursday to release video that debunks conspiracy theories sex predator Jeffrey Epstein could have been offed. REUTERS Bongino, a former conservative talk radio host, stressed the footage didn't show 'the actual act' but would prove there was no one around his cell before he was found dead at Manhattan's Metropolitan Correctional Center in 2019. 'There is video and when you look at the video, and we will release it, we're working on cleaning it up to make sure you have an enhanced – and we will give the original so you don't think there are any shenanigans – you will see no one in there but him. There's just nobody there,' Bongino said. 'I say to people of the time — if you have a tip, let us know — but there is no DNA, there's no audio, there's no fingerprints, there's no suspects, there's no accomplices, there's no tips. There is nothing. If you have it, I'm happy to see it.' Epstein's death was ruled a suicide at the time, but the pedophile financier's abrupt demise has long been dogged by rampant theories. Among them is that the billionaire, who was awaiting trial on child sex-trafficking charges, could have been killed by some of the rich and famous who engaged with him — or were privy to his crimes — over the years. Bongino's revelation about the unseen footage comes after he faced backlash from MAGA fans when he and FBI Director Kash Patel emphatically declared earlier this month that notorious sex predator's death was a suicide.
