3 places to pick and explore sunflowers this summer
With the recent hot weather and unbroken sunshine, it will soon be time to see the joyful sunflowers blooming across Suffolk.
It will be a few weeks until they really begin to bloom, as they normally fully open up around the start of August.
Here are three places across Suffolk to explore and pick your own sunflowers this summer.
Frog's Farm sunflower maze
Where: Willow Farm Bungalow, Norwich Road
With the flowers already planted and planned out, Frogs Farm is once again planning to open for its popular Sunflower maze, which is returning for its sixth year this August.
Once you get to the centre of the hand made design, you will be able to look out over the yellow sea of flowers on top of the wooden structure in the middle.
As well as the maze there will also be picnic areas, sandpits, a café and pick your own, plus many more activities.
Rougham Estate sunflower picking

With plans to open in early August, the Rougham Estate is opening its pick-your-own sunflower field.
It will be run daily from 9-5, with them expecting it to be open for between two and three weeks, or until the flowers are past their best.
They are also holding two special events they are calling "supper at sundown evenings" on Friday, August 8 and 16, between 6pm and 9pm.
The estate will be preparing an evening meal in the field, cooked over fire, with sweet treats from Gee Gee Bakes.
Horringer Sunflower Field
Where: Just outside Horringer along the A143 What3Words:
The Horringer Sunflower Field is another place in Suffolk where you will be able to pick your own from late July to August.
You can enter for free and explore the fields spread across 10 acres as you will be able to pick until your heart is content.
There will also be a picnic area, with tea, coffee and cakes being provided by Kiernan's Coffee.
