The fast-food chain, which was founded and is headquartered in the Buckeye State, is observing the Goodyear Blimp's 100th birthday, another Ohio icon, on June 3 with an exclusive in-app deal. The offer is only redeemable up until 12:01 a.m. local time on June 4 at participating Wendy's locations across the country. "And unlike the blimp, this offer isn't full of hot air; we're seriously serving up the coolest treat in town, no strings (or helium) attached," according to a press release from Wendy's. How to get a free Frosty from Wendy's All customers have to do redeem the deal is purchase a menu item on the Wendy's app. You can download the Wendy's Rewards app through the Apple or Google Play Store. App download and account registration is required. Additional details about the offer can be found on the Wendy's App. Wendy's unveils Frosty Swirls, Frosty Fusions Wendy's has given its iconic Frosty dessert a facelift in the last few months, offering customers the ability to add sauce or mix-ins to their classic soft-serve. The new Frosty variants are known as Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions. Customers can choose between a classic Vanilla or Chocolate Frosty and can then choose between three sauces: Strawberry Frosty Swirl, Caramel Frosty Swirl or Brownie Batter Swirl. Frosty Fusions, like the Frosty Swirls, allow sauce but customers may also add mix-ins for "extra flavor to the silky-smooth Vanilla or Chocolate Frosty." The three Frosty Fusion flavors, which have been available since May 12, include: Pop-Tarts Strawberry Frosty Fusion: Combines Wendy's Frosty and sweet strawberry sauce with chunks of strawberry-flavored Pop-Tarts Crunch Poppers pieces. Wendy's Is Giving Away Its New Frosty for Free This Week
Wendy's is giving away medium Frosty Fusions this week during Grubhub's seasonal savings event. The offer includes Wendy's three new Frosty Fusion Frosty is Wendy's answer to a milkshake, only it's a lot thicker than a McDonald's Shake or a Shake Shack Shake. It's a menu classic that's remained largely unchanged, but earlier this month, Wendy's dropped a new line of Frosty treats, shaking up the entire Frosty experience. For the first time ever, Wendy's introduced mix-ins to the iconic ice cream treat. These new Frostys are similar to a McDonald's McFlurry or a Dairy Queen Blizzard and they're definitely spoon-worthy. Named the Frosty Fusion, Wendy's combines either its Vanilla or Chocolate Frosty with a sweet sauce and a crunchy mix-in. When our senior editor Courtney Kassel tried every new Frosty Fusion variety, she concluded that "there were no misses." This week, as part of a special promotion, Wendy's is giving away free Frostys, and it's the perfect opportunity to try one of these new Frosty Fusions. Now through May 25, Grubhub+ members can get a free medium Frosty Fusion with an order of $20 or more at Wendy's. It's all part of the Gold Days of Grubhub+, a savings event just for members of Grubhub's premium food takeaway and delivery service. The seasonal discounts include grocery savings, reduced restaurant bills, and fast food freebies. And if you have Amazon Prime, you already have access to these offers. You can get a free Grubhub+ membership with your Amazon Prime subscription. Yes, really. That means you can try one of the new Frosty Fusions: Pop-Tarts Strawberry Frosty Fusion, Oreo Brownie Frosty Fusion, or Caramel Crunch Frosty Fusion. Typically, when Wendy's gives out free Frostys, it's a smaller size. But this offer is for medium Frostys, which means you could share your freebie—if you wanted to. The American fast food chain, which has been in existence since 1969, has also found fame for the Frosty - a frozen dairy dessert which was launched as part of the original menu.
