Secret ice cream shop offers mysterious flavors
Surprise Scoop, New York City's first roulette ice cream shop, won't let customers know the flavor until they try it.
Wendy's is celebrating a fellow Ohioan's big birthday with free Frostys for all (who make a purchase).
The fast-food chain, which was founded and is headquartered in the Buckeye State, is observing the Goodyear Blimp's 100th birthday, another Ohio icon, on June 3 with an exclusive in-app deal.
The offer is only redeemable up until 12:01 a.m. local time on June 4 at participating Wendy's locations across the country.
"And unlike the blimp, this offer isn't full of hot air; we're seriously serving up the coolest treat in town, no strings (or helium) attached," according to a press release from Wendy's.

How to get a free Frosty from Wendy's
All customers have to do redeem the deal is purchase a menu item on the Wendy's app. You can download the Wendy's Rewards app through the Apple or Google Play Store. App download and account registration is required.

Wendy's unveils Frosty Swirls, Frosty Fusions
Wendy's has given its iconic Frosty dessert a facelift in the last few months, offering customers the ability to add sauce or mix-ins to their classic soft-serve. The new Frosty variants are known as Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions.
Customers can choose between a classic Vanilla or Chocolate Frosty and can then choose between three sauces: Strawberry Frosty Swirl, Caramel Frosty Swirl or Brownie Batter Swirl.
Frosty Fusions, like the Frosty Swirls, allow sauce but customers may also add mix-ins for "extra flavor to the silky-smooth Vanilla or Chocolate Frosty."
The three Frosty Fusion flavors, which have been available since May 12, include:
Pop-Tarts Strawberry Frosty Fusion: Combines Wendy's Frosty and sweet strawberry sauce with chunks of strawberry-flavored Pop-Tarts Crunch Poppers pieces.

These bite-size, crispy, dunkable bites of deliciousness have comforted most of us since childhood. While I'd never turn down a fresh nug, I'd be lying if I said they're all created equal. To find the best fast food chicken nuggets of all time, I visited seven popular chains to taste them myself. Below, you'll find my honest reviews, original photos and overall ranking. But hey, it's fast food—you already knew that. That said, this is probably one of the more solid options on the Burger King menu (unless you're all about breading over meat; then it's Chicken Fries for you). My nuggets were black pepper-y and freshly cooked. The breading was crisp but less so than McDonald's (more on that later). That said, there was nothing wrong with these, but nothing outstanding either. They were considerably smaller than other boneless options on this list and more uniform in size, both nugget qualities in my book. But even though the chicken pieces were straight poultry instead of a ground mixture, they were still a bit dry and old-looking rather than juicy. This batch, in particular, was also too salty for my taste. The chicken was juicy and freshly fried, and the breading was tasty and evenly salted, albeit a bit thinner and less crunchy than that of McDonald's nuggets. These were coated in more of a breading than a batter. While I still prefer the hot version, these nuggets were solid (and they tasted even better with honey mustard). Learn more Taryn Pire What It Is: white meatboneless wings marinated in Louisiana spices and fired Price (six-piece): $7 Popeye's is sort of in its own league, not just in terms of quality but also flavor profile (all those Louisiana spices and whatnot). I tried the chain's boneless wings, as they don't explicitly use the word 'nugget' on their menu. The chicken was very tender and succulent, and the pieces were comparatively large. The breading was very crispy and well-seasoned, although subtle in flavor compared to the hot iteration. With a thick, batter-like breading that always reminds me of savory funnel cake (if that's a thing), the nuggets are dependably crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside and evenly seasoned with notes of black pepper and McD's signature onions. As long as they're fresh, they're going to slap. Have 'em with the chain's creamy Buffalo sauce, OK? The chicken is marinated in jalapeño buttermilk, which not only infuses the meat with plenty of flavor, but also tenderizes it. Meanwhile, the tortilla chip-based breading was crisp and tasty without being excessively spicy or overwhelming; in fact, it looked thinner than some others on the list, but packed a mighty crunch. The chicken looked natural, more like a boneless wing than a nugget, but the portion and individual, uniform size of each piece was also larger than most competitors. Try them with the new, delightfully swicy Mike's Hot Honey Diablo Dip Sauce. Learn more Taryn Pire What It Is: seasoned pieces ofboneless chicken breast, freshly breaded and pressure cooked in peanut oil Price (five-piece): $3 Chick-fil-A's offering was easily the juiciest, most succulent fast food chicken nugget of all. I got them in literally ten seconds after ordering, but they still tasted and looked very fresh. The nuggets are real chicken pieces instead of mechanically separated poultry. They're poppably small (meaning they offer nugget feel with a step up in quality, in terms of meat) and inconsistently sized, but that's the game you play with chicken pieces instead of molded nuggets. The breading was mildly seasoned but not bland in the slightest, making the nuggets an easy win and a crowd-pleaser, even for first timers. The Brief June 3 marks 100 years since the first Goodyear Blimp flight. Since then, the blimps have become icons at games, races, airshows, and other big events. All 3 current blimps are back home for a three-day tour of Akron, Ohio to celebrate the milestone. AKRON, Ohio - When you hear the word "blimp," just one thing likely comes to mind: The Goodyear Blimp. That staple of bowl games and big races officially turns 100 years old on Tuesday. It was back on June 3, 1925 when Goodyear's first blimp, Pilgrim, floated into the sky not far from the company's headquarters in Akron, Ohio. Since then, there have been 31 Goodyear Blimps. Today's blimps are, in fact, not technically blimps, but rather semi-rigid airships, but they still use helium to stay afloat and have the same look, feel, and unique sound as their predecessors, along with the same purpose. RELATED: Newest Goodyear 'blimps' carry on legacy As anyone who grew up in Akron – or near another blimp base – can tell you, it's a special day when you see the blimp. This week, as part of the anniversary celebration, fans have a unique chance to see three. The backstory As far back as 1910, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company sought a use for its products in the nascent aviation industry. Specifically, the company saw a market for rubber-infused coatings for balloons and lighter-than-air craft – like the ones we came to know as blimps. Timeline The first non-rigid airship designed to be flown using helium was the Goodyear Blimp that would be christened Pilgrim. It first flew in 1925 at the company's Wingfoot Lake facility in Suffield, Ohio and eventually logged nearly 95,000 miles as the company's first public relations airship. 1928: The second Goodyear Blimp, Puritan, becomes the country's first permanently licensed airship. 1930: The Goodyear Blimp Defender becomes the first airship in the world to carry a lighted sign. 1941: The attack on Pearl Harbor accelerates Naval airship production. From 1941-1944, Goodyear delivers 154 blimps to the U.S. Navy, most of which were built at the Wingfoot Lake facility. 1946: Goodyear purchases seven blimps back from the Navy, with a five-ship fleet returning to service as Ranger, Volunteer, Enterprise, Mayflower and Puritan. 1955: Goodyear pioneers the world's first live aerial video for a national broadcast, capturing unprecedented views of the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game. 1967: Columbia broadcasts Super Bowl I for CBS. 1969: The GZ-20 model America debuts. The GZ-20 would serve as the basis for the Goodyear Blimp for almost 50 years, featuring a bigger lighted sign and other improvements. 2014: Goodyear and ZLT Zeppelin Luftschifftechnik engineers complete the build of Wingfoot One, the first semirigid NT model Goodyear Blimp which uses a light internal frame. Three more NTs follow, completing the current fleet of four airships. Dig deeper Goodyear's first public relations airship was named Pilgrim. Then, starting with Puritan in 1928, all airships for the next seven decades were named after America's Cup yacht race winners. That tradition ended in 2005; the current fleet of airships is named Wingfoot One, Wingfoot Two and Wingfoot Three. In 1916, the lake where the blimp hangar would be built was given the name Wingfoot Lake for the same reason. For decades, it was the site of a park for use by Goodyear employees and their families, but now is a state park open to all. Local perspective While Goodyear has been celebrating the blimps' big milestone all year, the main event will be this week in Northeastern Ohio, where residents still step outside to look up when they hear the characteristic drone of the blimps' engines droning overhead. All three North American blimps – the fourth, based in Europe, will not participate – will fly home to Akron for a series of triple-blimp flyovers at the Wingfoot Lake hangar where they were built, along with other stops around the area. Blimp fans can see the craft around Akron from Tuesday through Thursday, weather-permitting.
