Josh Gottheimer (D‑N.J.) and Mike Lawler (R‑N.Y.) have introduced the Bunker Buster Act, granting Trump authority to send 30,000‑pound GBU‑57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators and B‑2 stealth bombers to Israel if Iran is found to still be developing nuclear weapons after recent strikes. The proposal aims to ensure that Israel has 'the tools and training they need to deter Tehran,' according to to Trump, 14 bunker-buster bombs were dropped on Iran's top nuclear facilities by B‑2 crews, which he said 'totally obliterated' the regime's nuclear program. Israel also launched airstrikes targeting Iranian military command centers and nuclear-linked sites. However, Israel lacks the specialized Massive Ordnance Penetrators and has no stealth bombers of its own.
