Heart Evangelista: No Issue with Pia Wurtzbach
Socialite and artist Heart Evangelista has once again denied any feud with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey, saying she has no issue with the beauty queen and fellow fashion icon. Rumors of a rift began after Heart's former glam team started working for Pia, who later attended more fashion events. Heart, however, reiterated that she has always supported Pia, even cheering for her in the past. She previously said that any tension came from people around Pia, not Pia herself. During an August 12 taping of GCash Spotlight with host Boy Abunda, the topic resurfaced. Heart emphasized that both she and Pia receive fashion week invitations, such as the recent Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week 2025. She said she values professionalism and has worked hard for her career, despite going through difficult experiences. Heart shared that she sees past challenges as blessings that led to personal growth and necessary changes. She added that while bad experiences may hurt, they often pave the way for better chapters in life. The actress said she would prefer if people stopped focusing on supposed tensions between her and Pia, noting that interactions would feel more authentic without cameras capturing every moment.

Heart Evangelista, now in her 40s, enters 'soft power era': ‘I've channeled my energy towards building my future'
Now in her 40s, Heart Evangelista is entering her 'soft power era,' where she no longer needs to shout just to be heard. In Boy Abunda's interview with the Global Fashion Icon during a GCash event Tuesday, Heart shared that her 40s are all about being at peace. 'I feel like in your 40s, it comes with that innate poise that really comes with experiences,' she said. 'I did a lot of healing.' 'But now that I'm 40, I'm glad I made it to 40, literally. I really went through a war path." Heart reflected on how her perspective has shifted over the years, sharing that she is no longer preoccupied with pleasing others or winning their approval. 'In an interview with you before, I said that I've given myself away so many times because I wanted people to like me,' she said. 'I allowed them to chop me up and sell pieces of me just to make people happy,' she added. But nowadays, Heart has been focusing her time and energy on more meaningful pursuits. 'I am not going to waste my energy,' she said. 'I have channeled my energy towards building my future, towards being productive.' 'For those people who understand, there's a mutual respect with the kind of woman that I am today, and it's the same with people that I speak to." Heart was among the Kapuso celebrities who lit up the blue carpet of the GMA Gala 2025 earlier in August.
