Published on: Friday, August 15, 2025 Published on: Fri, Aug 15, 2025 By: Noor Zafira Zayn Text Size: Azizah with other GRS Women members. KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Women's chief Datuk Seri Azizah Mohd Dun says the wing remains committed to the leadership's decision on working with Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the upcoming 17th State Election. She said the announcement by the state leadership clearly outlined GRS's stance, and the women's wing will follow the party's direction in forging the partnership. Azizah stressed that any later statements suggesting other alliances would not change their focus, as they will only adhere to what has been set by the party leadership. She added that GRS Women will defend the coalition's current seats and hopes existing women leaders will be retained. Prime Minister and PH Chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim earlier confirmed discussions with Barisan Nasional (BN) and GRS to avoid clashes in the state polls, aiming for an understanding that supports stability and progress for Sabah in line with the Federal Government's leadership. * Follow us on our official WhatsApp channel and Telegram for breaking news alerts and key updates! * Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
