Debenhams diamond watch 'almost identical to Cartier' gets £2,800 price slash
This 'stunning' timepiece 'looks far more expensive than it is' and can be snapped up for 94 percent less.

If you're looking for a luxury timepiece without having to pay through the nose, then Debenhams' sale is worth checking out. The retail giant has slashed the prices of thousands of watches - so there's something for everyone.
One of the biggest savings is on Gevril's GV2 Milan Silver Dial Swiss Quartz Diamonds IPYG Stainless Steel Watch. The "stunning" watch normally costs an eye-watering £2,995, but you can get it for just £183.75.
This 94 percent cut offers a monster discount, taking a whopping £2,811.25 off the standard price.
Debenhams say the "romantic, decadent timepiece" has been inspired by the fashion capital of the world and "combines precision Swiss quartz craftsmanship with signature, effortless Italian style".
It has "timeless sophistication and delicate details", while the diamond bezel and sapphire crystal face add a touch of pure luxury. The Roman numeral dials showcase class, alongside yet more diamonds set in a square within the watch face.
The blue cabochan push-pull crown stands out from the vibrant yellow gold bracelet and buckle. And the GV2 Milan Diamond Watch has a 5ATM water resistance, meaning it will be fine if worn in the shower but might be best left off if you're going for a long swim.
Another stunning watch in Debenhams' huge sale is the Emma Loves Diamonds Luna Swiss Quartz Watch. It is currently down to £146.75, a 72 per cent saving from its £525 RRP.
Alternatively, another dazzling diamond watch is the Guess Ladies' Stone Set Watch. You can get it from H. Samuel for the reduced price of £89, less than half of its usual £179.99.
But if you want Gevril's GV2 Milan Diamond Watch then you're far from alone. Shoppers lavished the timepiece with praise, with some comparing it to far more pricey brands.
One person wrote: "Great value. Quality designed watch! Looks far more expensive than it is!"
Another five-star reviewer said: "Very nice watch, almost identical to Cartier. It is a stunning watch." However, they did add that the watch was "quite tight" but didn't come with an extra link.
Others, however, found that the watch was too big for their wrists. One said: "Beautiful watch, a little too big for my wrist but easy enough to get taken in. Beautiful investment piece."
