What you need is another screen, and here's an excellent one with $50 off
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. We spend our lives looking at multiple screens, whether it's having five external monitors attached to a Mac Studio or just scrolling on our phones while watching TV with half an eye. Adding another screen is something tech manufacturers would very much like us to do, though it can be hard to see where one could be fitted in. - Get the Samsung Galaxy S10 FE + for $659 $599 at Best Buy Enter the tablet. These screens with brains are probably the least essential of all the portable techno-wizardry we commonly use, as they don't have the general functionality of laptops or the very specific functionality of phones, but instead sit somewhere in the middle as a large phone that can't make calls or a highly restricted laptop when paired with a keyboard. They do have their uses, however, as Creative Bloq's list of the best tablets for drawing and note-taking shows. Samsung's Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ has been one of my favourites out of those I've used recently. It has a big screen and a bundled stylus, and if you head over to Best Buy you can get $50 off both the 128GB and 256GB versions of the big 13.1in model. It's the size of the screen that sets this tablet apart. Those with smaller displays might be more portable, but can feel like little more than a large phone. The 13in panel makes it feel more like a sketchpad, or even a printed magazine (albeit heavier, unless you're into some serious paper stock and page counts). This makes them a joy to read from, with digital publication pages filling the screen at a size that makes them legible, rather than being something you'll need to zoom into. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ also comes with a stylus in the box, which instantly elevates it above tablets that don't, or offer them as an optional extra. A stylus is an essential tool for a creative, as being able to draw or write naturally, just as you would on a sheet of paper, only with the ability to quickly change line thicknesses and erase your mistakes. Being able to instantly sync your sketches into Photoshop or another image-editing app, or OCR your notes into editable text, are essential features too. Of course there are keyboards available to help manipulate that text later, turning the tablet into a pseudo-laptop with office apps and cloud storage. Being an Android tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ has access to the full Google Play store, as well as the software giant's AI offerings, so it's a handy general-purpose device that you can use for watching movies or reading once you're done sketching. So if you're looking for another screen to add to your collection, and the idea of digital art appeals, it's a tablet well worth looking at.

'Super smooth' Samsung Galaxy S10 FE+ with 'all day' battery gets £150 price slash
Prime student members can also slash an extra £50 off Samsung's latest tablet. While in the past many of us would have used a laptop to get our work or studying done, more and more people are now starting to use tablets to complete the same tasks. With their lightweight and compact size, these devices can easily be carried around and whipped out at a moment's notice. In April this year, Samsung released their latest tablets, the Galaxy S10 FE and FE+. These devices are a budget friendly version of the S10+ and the S10 Ultra tablets that were released in October last year. Now two months after their release, Amazon has given the devices a cracking £150 discount. Normally retailing for £649, shoppers can now snap up the 128GB edition Samsung Galaxy S10 FE+ for £499.99 in a limited time deal. If this wasn't appealing enough already, Amazon Prime Student members can also grab an extra £50 off the tablet - saving them £200. Boasting a 13.1-inch high resolution, clear display with 90Hz visuals, shoppers will have plenty of space to multitask or enjoy their current binge watch. As the biggest screen in the Galaxy Tab FE series, the display is equipped with a IP68 watch and dust resistance rating, making it the ideal device to use while out and about. Featuring AI to help with everyday tasks, shoppers can circle images, videos and text and Google will find results in an instant. Shoppers can also be more creative with this device as they can sketch their ideas and sign off documents with the handy S Pen. Powered by the Exynos 1580 processor, the S10 FE+ has plenty of power to run through tasks smoothly. Along with a 12MP rear camera and a 13MP selfie camera, the tablet also comes with dual speakers that are equipped with Dolby Atmos, which will deliver full, punchy sound to go along with the clear visuals. If shoppers are wanting Samsung's latest release but in a slightly smaller size, Amazon has also slashed £100 off the Galaxy S10 FE which has a 10.9-inch display. Now down to £399 (RRP £499), Prime Student members are still able to drop the price down slightly further with an additionally £40 discount - £359 for students. For those looking for something on the cheaper side, Argos is selling the Lenovo Tab M11 Tablet for their 'lowest price ever'. Priced at £129.99, the tablet comes with a Lenovo pen and ultra-crisp 11-inch display. Claimed to provide 10 hours of video playback, this tablet also comes with 128GB of storage. As one of Samsung's newer releases, Amazon currently doesn't have many reviews about the FE+ tablet. However, many shoppers have left high praise about the device over on Samsung's website. One five-star reviewer wrote: "Love it. Does everything I need from a tablet. Great display and battery life." With another adding: "Loving my Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+! The display is gorgeous, performance is super smooth, and the S Pen is a game changer for notes and drawing. Battery easily lasts all day, and it works great with my other Samsung devices. Totally worth it!" However, a few shoppers had some grumbles about the device. One person wrote: "Only slight disappointment is lack of hdmi output and support for better quality bluetooth output to my Buds3 Pro." While a three-star reviewer said: "The large screen works well as a tablet laptop hybrid. But the screen quality isn't great." Despite this, another happy shopper said: "I have always been a fan of other tablets, but that has changed. Switching to Samsung has transformed my experience. The performance is outstanding, the screen clarity is impressive, and syncing with my phone is seamless. "The camera quality is top-notch, and the long battery life is simply remarkable. This device has set a new standard for me." And someone else wrote: "Love this, battery last ages, screen is brilliantly clear and responds accurately to touch with fingers but even better with pen. Super fun to draw with the pen and together with the keyboard cover it does everything and more compared to my old laptop." To buy the Samsung Galaxy S10 FE+, click HERE. Samsung's newest tablet offers 'a premium experience' says expert, as £100 off sale drops
Samsung's newest tablet has had a surprise price drop but is it worth it? Tech expert Chris Hall has shared his thoughts on the device For shoppers on the lookout for a reliable, but not extortionate tablet, Samsung could be a brand to consider. As it launches its newest Galaxy S10 FE, a budget take on a high-end device, with decent streaming and gaming features but without a hefty price. The tablet only launched at the beginning of April, but it's already been cut in price. Having already launched as a cheaper alternative, it's been slashed by £100, no matter the model picked. The 10.9-inch display is now £499 cut from its launch price of £599. And the bigger 13.1-inch display is £649, but that's not the only offer. Shoppers are currently best picking the bigger storage option of each models as the 256GB option is cut to the same sale price as the smaller 128GB size. As regular Samsung deal shoppers will be aware of, this deal also includes the chance to ditch an older device and cut the price even further. On top of the already £100 off sale price and free storage. This is part of its 'trade-in' deal, where an extra £150 can be cut off for anyone with an old tablet, or £100 for those who hand in an older phone. Potentially cutting the price of the 256GB 10.9-inch model from £599 to £349 (with all the deals bundled into one). The 'FE' part of the model stands for fan edition, and essentially is Samsung's way of offering a cheaper price for shoppers but cutting on some higher-end features. Like the Exynos processor, but despite its lighter capabilities, it's still considered boosted enough for streaming and even gaming. However, for a better quality screen, the older Samsung Tab S9 could be a better fit, which is available to buy at Samsung or at Amazon. Alternatively, shoppers with a bigger budget could opt for Apple's newest 2025 iPad, which can be split in price with a contract from Sky Mobile. As tech writer Chris Hall shared for The Mirror, the much cheaper Tab S10 FE is worth considering. Thanks to its quality. He said: "I've been testing the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and I've found it to be a really premium experience, great for watching movies. "But the LCD display isn't as good as the OLED display you get on the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. There's a single camera on the back instead of the dual camera that Samsung's top tablets get." According to Chris, the scrimp on camera isn't necessarily a bad thing and would depend what shoppers want to use the tablet for. As he said the single camera 'doesn't bother him' because he uses his iPhone for photos instead. "Although it does have slightly lower power, using the Exynos 1580 processor, rather than the flagship-grade processor in the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. It has an IP68 rating, so if you knock over your drink and flood your tablet, then it will be just fine."
