50 Cent Speaks To Joe Budden At Knicks Game, Cracks Joke About Their Feud

During what was already a tense night for New York Knicks fans, an unexpected courtside moment between two of hip-hop's most outspoken figures turned even more heads. 50 Cent and Joe Budden crossed paths during what appeared to be a chance encounter while attending the second game of the Knicks' first-round playoff series against the Detroit Pistons, with the pair spotted having a seemingly serious exchange with one another. At one point during the game, Fif, who was sitting courtside next to fellow Knicks diehard, rapper Fat Joe, was seen chatting with Budden, who was sitting in the row behind him. According to Fif, who posted a photo of himself and Budden supposedly taken after the exchange on social media, the conversation was apparently about previous comments Budden made regarding his mental state. He also inferred that Joe had either apologized or retracted his declaration that the G-Unit mogul 'needed therapy' following his controversial remarks in the wake of Irv Gotti's passing earlier this year. 'I ran into Joe at the game he said I don't need Therapy No More!' 50 wrote in the caption, a quote that, along with the accompanying confused emoji, expressed his apparent befuddlement over Budden's alleged change of heart. Earlier this year, Budden publicly stated that the G-Unit mogul 'needed therapy' following 50 Cent's controversial remarks in the wake of Irv Gotti's passing, an assertion that the Get Rich or Die Tryin' rapper didnt' take too kindly to. The Murder Inc. Records co-founder, a longtime adversary of 50, died earlier in the year, and 50's reaction sparked heated discussion across the internet. Budden, on his podcast, commented that the rapper's response was telling, prompting speculation of lingering unresolved issues. The Knicks, despite the star-studded crowd, fell short against the Detroit Pistons, losing Game 2 in a close 100-94 effort in front of a disappointed home audience. As for 50 and Budden, the true nature of their brief courtside chat remains ambiguous—but in classic 50 Cent fashion, the moment quickly became part of a larger narrative only he could craft. Top Boy star recalls daughter's heartbreaking words before he got sober

Ashley Walters candidly spoke about overcoming his alcohol problems on the new episode of The Jonathan Ross Show. Airing on ITV1 on Saturday, 8 March, the talkshow welcomed BAFTA Fellowship winner Warwick Davis, This Country's Daisy May Cooper and Toxic Town's Jodie Whittaker onto the couch alongside Walters, whose big break took the form of hit crime drama Top Boy. While promoting his autobiography - titled Always Winning and on sale this May - the actor recalled a heart-wrenching exchange with his daughter that coincided with getting sober five years ago. "I am five years sober now," Walters told Ross, who'd been particularly struck by his guest's honesty in the upcoming book. "I had a good 15 years out there, you know, drinking and partying and stuff like that. It took its toll on me; my body, it took a bit of a toll on my career, but more importantly my family - my wife and kids." The Get Rich or Die Tryin' star then went on to detail a catalytic knock at the door that changed his life. "It hit me in the heart, but for a lot of people suffering with addiction, your own rock bottom is your own rock bottom. It's like you're only gonna do it in your own time, no-one can tell you when to do it and for me that was it. Looking at my daughter and realising that I was damaging her in maybe the same way I'd already damaged my older children. I just wanted to change and literally the next day I stopped drinking, I stopped smoking." Walters has four kids with his ex-partner and two with wife Danielle Walters. In a recent interview with NME, Walters alluded to "maybe 5,000" traumatic events that contributed to his 15-year alcohol addiction, including being stabbed in the neck as a teen. Apparently, his ability to remain professional during those dark times allowed it all to continue. "People accept your bulls*** a lot of time – your attitude, your lateness – because when you deliver, you're still good at what you do," he told the publication. "So I was able to hide for many years like that." He went on to say of his eventual sobriety: "Having a clear head and being able to focus and build some relationships that I broke through that period of my life has been probably the biggest factor in how I've been able to achieve everything I've been achieving." His latest job on the small screen was to direct episodes of gritty Disney+ series A Thousand Blows. The Jonathan Ross Show airs Saturdays on ITV1 and ITVX.

50 Cent Reveals He Sent Lil Meech To Rehab For Alleged Addiction To Drugs

50 Cent has continued to blast Demetrius 'Big Meech' Flenory for his alleged negative impact on his son, Demetrius 'Lil Meech' Flenory Jr. Most recently, Fif claimed that he once had to send Lil Meech to rehab for his alleged drug use, accusing Big Meech of influencing his child's addiction. In a post on social media, 50 Cent speculated that Big Meech is jealous of his bond with Lil Meech, whom he casted as the lead in the Starz show BMF, based on Big Meech's former drug ring, the Black Mafia Family. 'Thought about it. I think he was uncomfortable with me and MeMe's relationship,' the Queens, N.Y. native wrote on Instagram, referring to Lil Meech. 'I'm telling MeMe don't want him doing drugs. He telling him he use to do X like it's cool. I tell meme chill stop spending all ya money, he telling him how much money he blew.' Fif then recalled an instance in which Lil Meech was so inebriated that he began vomiting on the BMF filming set. This caused concern among Fif and fellow BMF cast members, prompting 50 to send Lil Meech to a rehabilitation clinic to receive treatment. 'People don't know I had to send MeMe to rehab,' the Get Rich or Die Tryin' creator claimed. 'Russell Hornsby peeped he was high as f**k on set he started throwing up at a weapons test then Ian told me the little (ni**a) had whippets in his truck.' 'I said what the f**k is whippets. I look it's the sh*t that be in Bebe guns,' the 49-year-old concluded, referring to Lil Meech's alleged drug of choice which contains nitrious oxide and has been used by Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, and other entertainers. 50 Cent's relationship against Big Meech and the Flenory family seemingly took a turn for the worst after Big Meech was captured alongside Fif's longtime rival, Rick Ross, while promoting a 'Welcome Back' concert celebrating the former drug kingpin's release from federal prison. However, the event has since been canceled, with multiple artists reportedly dropping out from the show amid the fallout between 50, Flenory, and Ross. Fif has also accused Big Meech of being a 'rat,' threatening to expose his dealings with known federal informant Tammy Cowins, also a producer of the BMF show. See 50 Cent's Instagram post below. 50 Cent Echoes 'Snitch' Allegations Against Demetrius 'Big Meech' Flenory, Flenory Responds

50 Cent has continued to wage war against Demetrius 'Big Meech' Flenory's street credibility, as the rapper-turned-film and TV exec has doubled down on allegations that Flenory 'snitched' on a former business associate. On Monday (Feb. 10), Fif responded to a rebuttal by Flenory regarding him being a 'rat,' sharing the Black Mafia founder's statement with his own social media followers. In the clip, Meech refutes any allegations of him cooperating with law enforcement, adding that he didn't plan on responding to Fif, but has chosen to for his 'loved ones, friends, and family.' He also accused 50 of attempting to 'trick [him] off the streets,' reiterating that he 'never folded, never told — never will. Death before dishonor, always.' In the same post, the Queens. N.Y. native mocked Flenory's message, accusing him of 'tricking' incarcerated drug kingpin Dionne 'Cuffy' Gatling out of his freedom through Flenory's dealings with known federal informant Tammy Cowins. Cowins, a producer of BMF, 50 Cent's hit Starz series based on the rise and fall of Flenory's criminal empire, previously worked with Flenory on business endeavors such as his foray into the world of TV and film, securing the rights to Flenory's life story at one point in time. 'You told Tammy to tell, bi**h,' Fif said, referring to claims that Flenory participated in 'third-party cooperation,' which is when someone gives incriminating information to an informant, who then uses that information in their own cooperatiog with law enforcement. The Get Rich or Die Tryin' creator also warned that multiple artists billed to appear at Meech's 'Welcome Back' concert may not be present, claiming that Flenory himself won't be able to attend due to the conditions of his release. 'Y'all gon' be disappointed if Lil Baby don't show up? When Skilla [Baby] don't show up? When [Icewear] Vezzo don't show up? When all these muthafuckas don't show up?' he said. '[Meech] can't even go! He on house arrest.' Accusing Flenory of reading off a teleprompter, 50 would reiterate his sentiments in the post's caption, referring to Meech as 'Big Screech' and continuing to foreshadow disappointment for those who choose to purchase tickets to the Detroit native's 'Welcome Back' concert. In a subsequent post, the 49-year-old continued to taunt Flenory, mocking the former drug kingpin's delivery of his statement and accusing him of having a social media manager. Tensions between 50 and Flenory seemingly began after Flenory was seen in a clip alongside Rick Ross promoting Meech's upcoming 'Welcome Back' concert, which is scheduled for Thursday (Feb. 13), in Miami. Ross, one of Fif's staunchest rivals, announced that he will perform 'B.M.F.,' his hit single inspired by Flenory, live in front of the street legend for the first time.
