Tyler, The Creator has released his ninth studio album, Don't Tap the Glass, arriving unexpectedly on Monday. The new project lands less than a year after CHROMAKOPIA, continuing the Grammy-winning artist's prolific output and creative streak.
Ahead of the release, Tyler previewed tracks at a $5 concert in Los Angeles on Sunday evening. The album's announcement came during his Brooklyn performance, followed by themed installations appearing across New York City, including the Barclays Center and the Oculus at the World Trade Center.
The cover art features a shirtless Tyler wearing red trousers and a matching cap, evoking vintage hip-hop influences. The image echoes style references from LL COOL J, 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Tryin', and Ludacris' bold visuals in 'Get Back.'
The album features 10 songs. Below is the complete tracklist.
Big Poe Sugar On My Tongue Sucka Free Mommanem Stop Playing With Me Ring Ring Ring Don't Tap That Glass / Tweakin' Don't You Worry Baby I'll Take Care of You Tell Me What It Is
Despite fan speculation, Tyler tempered expectations on X, reflecting his intent to release music without narrative framing, focusing purely on sound and expression.

Fans can now stream the new album across major platforms.

Katy Perry pauses Detroit concert after fan collapses on stage

Katy Perry's Lifetimes Tour performance in Detroit took an emotional turn when a young fan collapsed on stage during a segment of the show on Sunday night. The incident occurred at Little Caesars Arena, where Perry, as part of her nightly tradition, invites fans on stage to join her in performing her 2011 hit, 'The One That Got Away.' The fan, identified as McKenna, was selected by Perry from the upper section of the arena after catching the singer's attention with a sparkling blue sequined skirt. Perry waited as McKenna and her friend made their way to the stage, warmly welcoming them. Moments later, as the performance was about to begin, McKenna fainted, visibly overwhelmed by the moment. I've never seen any artist handle such situation better than katy perry did tonight, paused the show & stayed with the fan even after medics came. truly an angel!!! — Fadi ¹⁴³ (@TheWitnessedBoy) August 4, 2025 Perry immediately knelt beside the young fan as her crew and medical staff provided assistance. The crowd of approximately 13,000 began chanting McKenna's name in support. After McKenna was helped offstage, Perry gathered the remaining three fans for a group hug and led a heartfelt prayer. 'Dear God, we pray for McKenna, that she will come back fully and brighter and better than ever. Amen,' she said. Durante o show de ontem, uma fã desmaiou no palco da The Lifetimes Tour e foi rapidamente socorrida pela Katy e sua equipe. Os Katycats desejam melhoras a ela! 🧡 — Katy Perry Brasil (@katyperrybr) August 4, 2025 Acknowledging the emotional moment, Perry told the audience, 'It's so much. Sometimes you're so brave and you can get on stage, and it's overwhelming. I understand that feeling.' She then resumed the show and later, while performing 'Roar' from a butterfly prop above the crowd, reassured fans, 'McKenna's doing great, by the way,' a statement also confirmed to Billboard by backstage sources. The Detroit show marked the 13th stop on the North American leg of Perry's Lifetimes Tour, which began in Mexico City in April. The tour will continue through December, concluding in Abu Dhabi. Perry recently faced another onstage incident in San Francisco when the butterfly prop she was riding malfunctioned and dropped suddenly, though the singer quickly recovered and completed the performance.

Adam Lambert defends Cynthia Erivo as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar Hollywood Bowl production

Adam Lambert is voicing strong support for Cynthia Erivo's casting as Jesus in the Hollywood Bowl's three-night production of Jesus Christ Superstar, saying the musical was always meant to provoke and challenge audiences. In a recent interview with Billboard, Lambert—who plays Judas in the production—said he is 'excited' to present a version of Christ led by a 'female, Black' performer. 'Cynthia's brilliant,' he said. 'Her voice, presence, and simultaneous power and vulnerability absolutely blow my mind, and working with her has been a dream.' Casting a queer, Black woman in the role of Christ has drawn some pushback, but Lambert sees it as an opportunity to rethink traditional portrayals. 'I'm excited by the challenge of presenting the audience with a production led by a female, Black Jesus and encourage the audience to expand their minds a bit,' he told Billboard. 'Originally utilizing rock and roll, Jesus Christ Superstar is supposed to provoke and challenge—that's the point. And shouldn't the teachings of Jesus transcend gender?' Erivo also addressed the criticism in a separate Billboard interview in June, responding with humor: 'Why not? You can't please everyone. It is legitimately a three-day performance at the Hollywood Bowl where I get to sing my face off. So hopefully they will come and realize, 'Oh, it's a musical, the gayest place on Earth.'' The production also features Milo Manheim, Raúl Esparza, and Phillipa Soo. John Stamos joined the cast at the last minute, replacing Josh Gad, who had to withdraw due to a COVID-related complication. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Sergio Trujillo, the show is conducted and music-directed by Tony and Grammy winner Stephen Oremus. The event, running August 1–3, reflects a growing movement in modern theater to reimagine classic works through more inclusive casting and storytelling.

Dua Lipa steals the show with surprise duet… and it's not who you think

Pop sensation Dua Lipa stunned fans at the Sunnyhill Festival in Kosovo last night, but it wasn't for her outfit or choreography. This time, the buzz came from an unexpected duet with her father, Dukagjin Lipa, who joined her onstage for an emotional performance that's left social media in a tailspin. The two were filmed singing together in a short clip that quickly spread across Reddit and X, with fans praising their touching chemistry and family bond. While Dua's talent has never been questioned, many were surprised by how comfortable, and vocally capable, her father appeared on stage. Dukagjin, a former rock musician and co-founder of the Sunnyhill Foundation, looked right at home next to his Grammy-winning daughter. The Sunnyhill Festival, now in its fourth year, was founded by the Lipa family as both a cultural celebration and a platform for Albanian artists. But with this father-daughter performance, it took on a much more intimate tone. Fans online were divided. Some gushed over the heartwarming family moment, while others questioned whether Dukagjin might be eyeing a comeback. 'Dua Lipa just soft-launched her dad's singing career and I'm not mad about it,' joked one Reddit user. Another quipped, 'Is he the new Zaddy of Kosovo?' There's no word yet if the duet will be officially released, but fans are already demanding a full-length collab. Whether it was a one-time sentimental gesture or a teaser for more, the Lipas have once again proven they know how to keep us watching and talking.
