Aussie celebs parody viral Coldplay kiss-cam clip
Two Australian celebrities have hilariously parodied the viral Coldplay kiss cam moment at a Sydney comedy show on the weekend. American comedian Nikki Glaser's Australian tour kicked off this week, with the Golden Globes host performing a show in Sydney on Saturday night – and she made sure to take a moment to pay homage to the widely-discussed scandal. During her set the performer offered up her own version of the kiss cam that exposed Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, with Glaser's parody dubbed the Coldplay Clearly Committed Couple Kiss Cam. 'Let's see if we can have one more we can find – can we zoom in?' Glaser says at one point to the audience as the camera focused on The Project alum Wilkinson, who was being embraced by comedian Hamish Blake. Wilkinson and Blake were spotted cuddling while parodying the viral kiss-cam moment. Credit: Supplied 'Is that… is that Hamish and Lisa?! Ooooh, busted,' the comedian joked, while the duo covered their faces and tried to hide from the camera. 'Someone call Zoe right now, what the f***,' she followed up. Hamish Blake is married to author Zoe Foster Blake, while Lisa Wilkinson is married to former rugby player Peter FitzSimons. The television star took to Instagram after the event to share a video of the moment, joking in the caption that 'bloody cameras are everywhere'. Comments flooded in, praising the duo for the reenactment. 'My girlfriend and I were in the audience and this was hilarious!' one attendee said. 'Absolute gold,' another fan commented 'A great way to open the show,' a third comment read. The parody comes after news that the CEO at the scandal's centre, Andy Byron, has resigned from company Astronomer. 'Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding - our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met,' the company said in their first statement since the scandal broke. 'Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted.'

Residents to take up search for missing Grimsby man
West Niagara residents are encouraged to take part Saturday morning in a search for a 72-year-old Grimsby man who has been missing for nearly a week. Wolfgang Glaser was last seen about 7 p.m. on June 21, leaving Teddy's on Main Street. 'He's been coming to Teddy's for over 30 years,' said restaurant owner Simon Duong, who is organizing the search. 'I have maps of Grimsby, Beamsville and Stoney Creek and I have broken (the search area) down into 200 quadrants and want to assign one person to each quadrant.' Duong said anyone wishing to help in the search should come to Teddy's at 9 a.m., where they will receive instructions and a map of their search area. As of Friday afternoon, Duong said he had about 50 volunteer searchers lined up, adding that number could grow to as many as 200 by Saturday morning. 'We'll take what we can get,' Duong said. 'My goal is to (have searchers) spend a half-hour driving around each quadrant.' For more information, see the Teddy's Facebook page. Niagara Regional Police said Glaser was reported missing Sunday, June 22. Grimsby resident Wolfgang Glaser is believed to have been driving this silver 2007 Mazda5 hatchback when he was last seen on June 21. Glaser's car was seen near the Niagara Gateway Information Centre on South Service Road near Casablanca Boulevard about 10 minutes after he left Teddy's. He is believed to be driving a silver 2007 Mazda5 hatchback with Ontario licence plate CPYA 061. Glaser is described as white, with brown/grey hair and white facial hair. He was wearing grey pants and a blue shirt with 'REDUCE, REUSE, RETHINK' printed on the back, and he uses a cane. 'If we can find his car, we can get a sense if he's around here,' said Duong, adding his staff told him Glaser appeared to be his typical self and did not show any signs of distress or problems before leaving the restaurant. Duong said Glaser talked about heading over to the Swiss Chalet restaurant on Windward Drive, north of the QEW, but there's no indication he went there. 'From what I know, he doesn't like highway driving,' said Duong. He said Glaser lives near the downtown area. 'He doesn't go far.' Duong said Glaser typically visits a pub on Ontario Street in Grimsby before heading over to Teddy's, where he would usually have a couple of drinks and then go home. 'This time, he didn't go home.' In a recent social media post, Alisha Rullo urged the public to help in Saturday's search. 'I plead with you to find my father,' she said. Meanwhile, police are asking anyone with information about Glaser's whereabouts to call them at 905-688-4111 . Trial date set for Venezuelan woman for crash that killed 11-year-old
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A woman in the country illegally had her day in court after months of demands from a St. Louis County judge. St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Melissa Price Smith called it a race against the clock. 'Several times we thought she was coming back, and we heard there was actually a deportation date where she was going to be sent to Venezuela,' she said. Close Thanks for signing up! Watch for us in your inbox. Subscribe Now The prosecuting attorney said Endrina Bracho was brought back to St. Louis County last week. 'Due to the fact that Ms. Bracho was in this country illegally, there was an ICE hold. After being released on bond over the objection of the state, she was taken into ICE custody,' Price Smith said. Bracho is facing a long list of felony charges after a car crash on Dunn Road just five days before Christmas in 2023. 'None of this would have happened but for her driving in the wrong lane going at almost twice the speed limit, and that is what we intend to hold her accountable for, because Travis (Wolfe) died because of this, the day before his 12th birthday and it is an extremely sad case,' Jason Glaser, assistant prosecuting attorney, said. Glaser said he spoke with Travis Wolfe's father last week after Bracho appeared in court. 'He's very happy and hopeful that he'll see justice come for his son,' Glaser said. Glaser said Bracho's trial is set for August 11. She is currently being held on a $150,000 cash only bond. 'Regardless of what her immigration status is, she needs to be held accountable,' Price Smith said. 'That family needs to see justice happen.' FOX 2 News reached out to Bracho's attorney and we are waiting to hear back. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Nikki Glaser Admits She Was ‘Clowning' for a Taylor Swift Announcement at the 2025 AMAs
Nikki Glaser was one of countless Swifties who was a little let down after the 2025 American Music Awards ended with no word from Taylor Swift, despite a trail of seeming clues leading up to the show that fans had thought meant the pop superstar be making an appearance or announcing something major on Monday night (May 26). But in the hours before the ceremony ended in Las Vegas — back when Swiftie hopes were still high — the comedian gushed in a red carpet interview with Billboard that she was indeed 'clowning' over the possibility of the pop superstar showing up to unveil either a brand new album or Reputation (Taylor's Version). 'I did see a list on Instagram tonight of all the Easter eggs that say that she's going to be here,' Glaser said, noting that she was trying not to think too much about it, lest she 'freak out.' More from Billboard Snubs & Surprises at 2025 American Music Awards Here Are the 2025 American Music Awards Winners (Updating Live) Shakira Falls Onstage During 'Whenever, Wherever' Performance at Montreal Concert 'I'm usually someone that doesn't clown, and I'm like, 'Guys, don't get your hopes up,'' she continued while speaking to QTCinderalla and Billboard's Tetris Kelly. 'But I think I'm clowning.' Ultimately, Swift didn't even attend the awards, much less share news about a new project. The no-show came weeks after fans first noticed that the 14-time Grammy winner's online store had changed to display a menu reading, 'Apparel, Music, Accessories, Sale,' spelling out 'AMAs' with each word's first letter. Swifties — Glaser included — also discovered that several items on the website were on sale for 26% off their original price, matching the May 26 date of the ceremony. 'It's too much of a coincidence with all the 26s lining up,' Glaser gushed to Billboard. 'What else could it be? There's gotta be something, and if there's not … I have a feeling she's holding onto [Reputation (Taylor's Version)] for a long time. I think that girl's got new music for us — that's my prediction.' But despite her excitement, the TV personality noted that she would be happy even if Swift didn't make any moves that night. 'Even if she doesn't show up, we love it,' added Glaser, who later presented new artist of the year to Gracie Abrams. 'Thank you for the puzzle.' Though Monday's goose chase ended up leading to a dead end, Swift is famous for teasing things months in advance and leaving Easter eggs for her fans to decode. The practice dates back to the very beginning of her career, when she used to hide secret messages in her CD lyric booklets by not-so-randomly capitalizing letters. In the 20 years since, Swifties have gotten used to scanning everything from her outfits to her Instagram captions for subtle clues about her next steps. Glaser has long been a fan of the 'Fortnight' singer, revealing in December that she'd spent nearly $100,000 to see Swift on 22 Eras Tour shows in 2023 and 2024. 'She has no idea who I am, but I'm just the biggest fan,' the comedian said in July of being 'addicted' to the concerts on Jimmy Kimmel Live. 'I want to just see it as much as possible, it's the thing that makes me happiest in the world.' In February, however, the Someday You'll Die stand-up explained why she would never approach her idol in person. 'Taylor, she's just — everyone wants a piece,' she said on Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard of bumping into the pop star at award shows. 'I will never be the one to be like, 'Excuse me!' There's no way that she's dying for that on a night like this where everyone's doing it. And of course, she would be so nice. I know exactly how it would go down, but I don't wanna take someone's energy away that I require their energy to be put into making great music.' The American Music Awards are produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Eldridge Industries and Billboard parent company Penske Media.
