"India has shown that if terrorists come to our home and commit a crime...": CM Mohan Yadav hails Op Sindoor in UAE
Dubai [UAE], July 15 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, on Monday, lauded the Indian armed forces for conducting Operation Sindoor in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam attack, asserting that India has shown that it can neutralise anyone who comes and commits a crime on its land. While addressing the 'Madhya Pradesh Business Investment Forum' Program, CM Yadav described Operation Sindoor as the age of 'new technology' where the people have not crossed the border, but drones are attacking each other. 'In the changing times, India has shown that if terrorists come to our home and commit a crime, we can kill them by going to their home. In any war, wherever it happens, trade will always decrease there. Because both things can't go together,' he added. The 'Madhya Pradesh Business Investment Forum Program' took place in the UAE on Monday. At the commencement of the event, the guests were honoured with flowers and shawls. The program was attended by several dignitaries such as Sahitya Chaturvedi, Secretary General of IBPC Dubai, Consul General Satish Kumar Sivan, and senior bureaucrats. At the beginning of the event, Raghwendra Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion and Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of Madhya Pradesh delivered a detailed speech on the various avenues for investments and how the friendly policies of the government make Madhya Pradesh a great hub for it. Principal Secretary Kumar highlighted that there are several areas where investment can take place in Madhya Pradesh. Kumar listed food processing, automobile, electric vehicles, textiles, garments, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, Chemical APIs, logistics, and warehousing. 'All of these sectors have immense potential for investments,' Kumar said. Notably, Yadav is scheduled to travel to Spain after concluding his visit to the UAE. The visit, from July 13 to 19, aims to bring global investment to Madhya Pradesh, encourage technology sharing, and create new job opportunities under the umbrella of 'Global Dialogue 2025.' (ANI)

MP Industrial Development Corporation Ltd wrote in a post on X, 'Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a high-level one-on-one meeting with Humaid Mohamed Ben Salem, Secretary General of ICC UAE, to discuss strengthening economic ties and promoting bilateral investment opportunities.' The post underscored that the Chief Minister highlighted Madhya Pradesh's investor-friendly ecosystem, strategic location, and sectoral strengths across industries such as infrastructure, manufacturing, logistics, and food processing. The post further highlighted that the meeting underscored a shared commitment to fostering cross-border partnerships and enhancing trade and investment flows between Madhya Pradesh and the UAE. The details of the meeting were also shared by the Chief Minister's Office in a post on X. Earlier in the day, Yadav held a high-level bilateral meeting with Chairman of the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO), Mukesh Vora, where they reached a consensus on setting up the MP-JITO investment platform in Dubai to facilitate cooperation in advanced manufacturing, logistics, renewable energy, skill development, MSME promotion, and educational exchange. Yadav also met with Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Emirates Airlines and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and Essa Sulaiman Ahmad, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for West Asia and the Indian Ocean at Emirates. Discussions focused on promoting direct flight services from Tier-2 cities like Indore and Bhopal, developing a regional cargo hub in Central India, and exploring aviation training and MRO infrastructure. The Chief Minister further held a meeting with Vinay Thadani, CEO and Director of Grew Energy Private Limited, regarding the 3.0 gigawatt solar cell project in Narmadapuram district, expected to generate over 700 jobs and position Madhya Pradesh as a leader in the sustainable energy sector. According to a post by the Chief Minister's Office on X, the discussions focused on strengthening aviation cooperation between India and the UAE. During the meeting, deliberations took place on enhancing aviation ties, with a particular focus on promoting direct flight services from Tier-2 cities like Indore and Bhopal, developing a regional cargo hub in Central India, and exploring opportunities in aviation training and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) infrastructure. 'Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, during his Dubai visit, held an important bilateral meeting with senior Emirates officials. During this, detailed discussions were held on strengthening aviation cooperation between India and the UAE,' the MP CMO stated in the post. 'During the meeting, deliberations took place on promoting direct flight services from Tier-2 cities like Indore and Bhopal, developing a regional cargo hub in Central India, and exploring opportunities for cooperation in aviation training and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) infrastructure. Discussions also covered encouraging inbound tourism and the possibility of establishing a branch of the Emirates Aviation Academy in Madhya Pradesh,' the post added. Following the meeting, Essa Sulaiman Ahmad, Divisional Vice President - Commercial Operations (West Asia and Indian Ocean) at Emirates, highlighted the potential synergies and investment opportunities. 'This was a terrific opportunity for us to meet with the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh... We know the synergies between Dubai and Madhya Pradesh... Absolutely, it was a very heartfelt meeting... I used to be in India for seven years, so this was quite an eye-opener to see the kind of investment and the vision that the Chief Minister has for the state, and absolutely looking at synergy where we can see where we take this partnership even further,' he stated. The meeting, part of Yadav's ongoing tour from July 13 to 19, aimed to attract significant foreign investment, with a particular emphasis on renewable energy and industrial growth. 'Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, during his Dubai visit, held a meeting with Mr. Vinay Thadani, CEO and Director of Grew Energy Private Limited, and the delegation regarding proposed investments in Madhya Pradesh,' the MP Chief Minister's Office stated in a post on X. Our group chairmen also met with the CM and we discussed our further expansion plans, which will go up to Rs 10,000 crores in the upcoming years, in which investment in the renewable sector, investment in textiles plus flexible packaging, and investment in all sectors where our users are already present,' Thadani stated. He praised Madhya Pradesh's administrative support and central location, saying, 'Madhya Pradesh has been very cooperative in all forms, whether it is administrative or vision-wise... and secondly, geographically, it is located in the centre of the country, which helps all industry.' Yadav's official visit to Dubai in the UAE and to Spain is scheduled from July 13 to July 19.
