Here Are The Imminent ‘Stellar Blade' PC Release Times In Your Region
Stellar Blade Stellar Blade is finally emerging from its PlayStation prison, the former exclusive at last heading to PC where it can reach a much wider audience. Stellar Blade is out on PC tonight or tomorrow, depending on your region, and SHIFTUP has released the list of launch times, which you can check out below: June 11, 2025 June 12, 2025 So, if you're in the US, by the time you read this it may just be a few hours away, or already launched and you can play for half the day. The debut AAA offering from SHIFTUP, previously known for mobile games like Goddess of Victory: Nikke, was a big success. It was one of the best action games of the year and sold a million units just over a month after release. For that team, for a new IP, that's stellar, pun intended. Now, a sequel is on the way. The game and Eve were the center of a strange sort of culture war skirmish where there was a constant refrain of 'this is what female video game characters should look like' and she's still referenced in that capacity to this day. None of that really matters in the end. Stellar Blade is a great action game on its own merits whether you clothe Eve in a sweatshirt or a bikini. It's in the vein of Devil May Cry mixed with Bayonetta and I put fifty hours into the single player offering with a NG+ playthrough. It was one of my top games of last year, and I highly recommend it for PC players who haven't given it a shot yet. If you like action games, I don't think you'll regret it. 'Stellar Blade' Developer Has Plans For Sequel And New 'Project Witches' RPG
Korean gaming studio Shift Up has bold plans for the future, unveiling its roadmap over the coming years with plans for a Stellar Blade sequel and a yet-to-be-revealed new action RPG, Project Witches . As revealed during a presentation by the company on 16 May, Shift Up detailed its recent financials, awards, and its plans for the years ahead. Within the presentation slides, a chart showed how the company plans to expand its current franchises going forward, listing out a Stellar Blade sequel among others set to be released before 2027. News of a sequel to its hit 2024 Souls-like Stellar Blade should come as no surprise, considering the game's impressive debut, which saw it sell more than one million copies within a month, with Shift Up already expressing interest in a sequel at the time. According to the chart, a 'platform expansion' is also set to arrive before the game's sequel, which no doubt refers to its upcoming PC version, which is set to launch on 11 June this year, or possibly even a port of the game on the Nintendo Switch 2. Apart from laying out its future plans for both Stellar Blade and Goddess of Victory: Nikke , Shift Up's massively popular mobile title, the company also has another title in the works, codenamed Project Witches . No further information about this mysterious title has been revealed yet, but according to a previous report by the Korean publication Yonhap News Agency (translated by X\Twitter user Genki), the game is described as a 'AAA urban sci-fi action RPG', with further information on Shift Up's hiring page for the title detailing that it will also be a multi-platform game. Of course, plans can still change over the coming years, and it's unclear if any of these revealed projects would be able to hit their intended release windows, but for now, it looks like Stellar Blade 2 is all but confirmed, so fans can look forward to an official announcement or trailer in the near future.
