Harrods will shutter Masayoshi Takayama's Sushi by Masa, Tom Kerridge's Fish and Chips and Calum Franklin's The Georgian by the beginning of September. The swanky central London store also announced the end of its partnership with Gordon Ramsay Burger. However, the latter will continue waving in punters until January 11, 2026. Harrods said the switch up was triggered by a change in industry trends, including a spike in punters eating earlier in the evening. Data from OpenTable shows that 6pm reservations are up 11 per cent in London and 6 per cent across Britain. However, the glitzy Knightsbridge spot will remain home to a handful of delicious eateries, including Pasta Evangelists and Kinoya Ramen Bar, which was created in Dubai by chef Neha Mishra. Michael Ward, the managing director of Harrods, said: 'As part of Harrods' considered customer approach, we took the decision a number of months ago to review feedback and data to ensure our in-store experience is delivering against customers' evolving preferences. 'Harrods has a rich history of serving the finest food and drink and we are constantly progressing our dining offerings. 'We'd like to thank all the fantastic chefs that we have been very privileged to work with over the last few years for their partnership. 'Together we have served many thousands of diners from shoppers to families and friends celebrating special moments in our restaurants.' Pub chain collapses into administration as SIX sites shut their doors for good and 159 job losses The closures come after a Michelin chef and Sky TV star announced the shock closure of his Harrods pop-up just eight months after it opened. The project was one of five new food joints launched by the chef in the past year. Hot Dogs by Three Darlings, owned by high profile chef Jason Atherton, was a gourmet hot dog concept in Harrods Dining Hall but it has unfortunately shut up shop. The restaurant concept for "haute" dogs was introduced to the posh department store in summer but closed before it made its first birthday. Hot Dogs by Three Darlings took over the space from Sushi by Masa and will now delegate the site to Caviar Bar. The new pop-up promises to provide a "new level of indulgence" and offers an eye-watering £75 lobster cocktail. South Yorkshire-born Jason also runs a selection of well-received restaurants including Pollen Street Social, which has won numerous awards including a Michelin star and Row on 45, which has snapped up two Michelin stars.

'I tried the most expensive burger in the UK and price will make you wince'
A popular online food reviewer has tasted Gordon Ramsay's expensive burger at his eatery in Harrods recently - and people have shared their thoughts on the price There's nothing like tucking into a good burger when you are really hungry or in need of a well needed treat. But how much would you pay for a good quality one? One man recently bought the most expensive burger in the UK and has shared his verdict on whether it is really worth it or not, after paying a hefty price for it. Viral food reviewer Laurence – known as @letstestlaurence on TikTok, is known for tasting the UK's most popular and expensive food items. He has built up such a reputation, boasting over four million followers on TikTok, that people totally trust his opinions. He recently bought a burger on the fourth floor of Harrods, in Gordon Ramsay 's eatery - and paid a whopping £85. The quality treat from Gordon Ramsay Burger includes 100% UK heritage beef patties – and is a bespoke blend of chuck, brisket and rib cap, grilled to juicy perfection on an open flame and brushed with Ivy House Farm butter for an extra hit of nutty sweetness, according to Harrods. The posh department store adds: "Fire up your taste buds with the chef's signature Hell's Kitchen Burger, layered with fresh mozzarella, jalapeños, avocado and roasted tomatoes, or double down on the patties with the Oklahoma Smash Burger, piled up with American cheese, red onion, house pickles and sriracha mayo.." After walking up to the fourth floor, Laurence managed to get a table straight away. When the burger arrived, the food review said it "smells pretty incredible". He said he noticed a taste of truffle inside the treat and said they burger was "extremely rich". "All the flavours are sort of coming together," he added. The dish also comes on a fancy plate, and accompanied with a large cone of truffle fries. "Again, the truffle flavour is really strong," he added, noted that the chips come with an aioli sauce. Once, finished he used the Gordon Ramsay-branded hand wipe. "I tried this, it was amazing," said one person, while another who thinks they would love the treat said: "Loving the truffle vibes. Girlfriend can't even stand the smell of truffle without wanting to throw up, bizarre, I love the stuff." But others don't seem as impressed. One commented: "Daylight robbery prices, 85 quid for a burger is insane, even with the most prime ingredients, shouldn't be over 40 quid." While another shocked individual exclaimed: "£85! For a burger." Someone else wrote: "£85 for a burger and chips, I don't care who's restaurant it is, they are ripping people off, the price is because of the name of the owner of the restaurant." While another person said: "Go to a butchers shop and they will more often than not have a better burger to cook yourself than you'll get at any restaurant." One other said: "I would never pay that for a burger that is mad no wonder why everything cost so much up in London."

My party of 2 spent $120 at Gordon Ramsay Burger. Our meal at the chef's chain restaurant was a surprisingly great value.
My partner and I spent $120 at Gordon Ramsay's burger restaurant in downtown Boston. We both enjoyed our burgers, and also ordered appetizers and dessert. Overall, the meal was a bit pricey, but I'd definitely eat at the restaurant again. From Hell's Kitchen to Gordon Ramsay Steak, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has amassed an impressive line of chain restaurants around the world. Back in December, my partner and I headed to the chef's upscale burger joint in downtown Boston with a simple mission: to decide if a meal there is worth the price. I'll admit it: I'm always skeptical of a chain restaurant, even one with such a powerful name behind it. But sometimes, there's nothing like a good burger. Here's what our experience was like. We arrived right on time and were seated promptly. When we arrived at the restaurant on a Monday night for dinner, we were seated promptly. Gordon Ramsay Burger has floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, which made for some cozy people watching. The restaurant felt busy, but wasn't crowded. It took us a little while to be waited on, so we ordered our drinks and apps simultaneously. The appetizers came out before our drinks. I knew the minute I saw the appetizer menu that I'd want the street corn dip ($13), which came with tortilla chips. It was difficult not to fill up on the cheesy corn dip before my burger. We also tried the New England clam chowder ($10). Thick and creamy, the chowder's clams were chopped smaller than usual, and it (unconventionally) had bits of bacon, too. Although the flavor was delicious, my partner and I are something of chowder purists, so we probably wouldn't order it again. Our drinks paired nicely with the street corn dip. To drink, my partner ordered the seasonal Harpoon beer ($8) that was on draft. I went for the Caballo Blanco cocktail ($19), which was made with tequila, fresh lime, Angostura bitters, ginger, and pineapple. Sweet and strong, my drink paired well with the street corn dip. We both ordered burgers as our entrées. For my entree, I chose the Idiot Burger ($20) — a smash burger topped with short rib, Gruyere, cheddar, and roasted mushrooms. It also had a spicy tomato chutney and came on a soft and squishy sesame seed bun. Although it was meatier than the meals I usually go for, I loved it. My partner ordered the Hell's Kitchen Burger ($19) with applewood-smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese, Sriracha aioli, tomato-jalapeño jam, and mashed avocado. We both agreed this burger was a little too salty — but other than that, it was a solid take on a bacon cheeseburger. We also ordered a side of truffle fries. None of the burgers on the menu come with a side, so we ordered a plate of truffle fries ($12). Fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and covered in shredded Parmesan, these were top-tier. One order of fries was more than enough for the two of us. For dessert, we ordered a milkshake to share. The dessert menu has some tempting, classic options — namely a chocolate brownie sundae and a cookie skillet — that we were too full to consider. Lighter dessert selections included a root beer float and some milkshakes. We ordered the Oreo crème brûlée shake ($10), which was just as delicious as it sounds. The classic shake flavor was elevated with a swirl of crème brûlée pudding and topped with whipped cream. Despite our huge burgers, it wasn't exactly hard to finish. Aside from a few drawbacks, we thought our $120 meal was worth the price. Overall, for the location and the amount of food we got, we were pleased with our $120 meal, which was the price before we added a tip. If I wanted to save some money, I'd probably skip the appetizers next time. The only downside was that we had to flag down our server a few times. Although this wasn't ideal, it didn't negatively impact our experience. Since Gordon Ramsay Burger has locations in other cities like Las Vegas, Chicago, and Vancouver, I'd consider it a fun, reliable spot to go if I didn't know anything about an area's food scene. I'd also return to the Boston location if I was in the area and craving a good burger.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was spotted in the Worcester area over the weekend. Known for "Hell's Kitchen" and "MasterChef," the Food Network star is no stranger to Massachusetts, as he owns two restaurants in Boston - Ramsay's Kitchen and Gordon Ramsay Burger. However, this weekend, Ramsay traded Boston for central Massachusetts. While the exact reason Ramsay was in town is not known, he was seen with a camera crew around various towns in the Worcester area. Here's everywhere he went. This past Saturday, Ramsay visited a restaurant, a bowling alley and a food truck in Northbridge. Ramsay started his morning at The Neighborhood Kitchen, a breakfast restaurant in the town's Whitinsville neighborhood. According to a televised report from WBZ-TV, the chef stopped to meet fans when he exited the restaurant. From there, Ramsay went to Sparetime Recreation bowling alley, where he was seen with a large film crew. The reason Ramsay was filming at the Northbridge bowling alley has not yet been made clear. According to reports on Facebook, Ramsay also stopped by Smash'd, a food truck in Douglas that specializes in burgers. "We got a chance to meet Gordon Ramsay today!!!" the food truck wrote on Facebook alongside pictures with the star, adding that Ramsay "absolutely loved" the Smash'd t shirt they made for him. After a jam-packed day in central Massachusetts, Ramsay visited Rhode Island, where he was spotted Sunday morning at the Crazy Burger in Narragansett.
