"Absolute beauty" - River Island shoppers rave over 'iconic' €63 midi dress
River Island customers are heaping praise on a "stunning" dress which has proven to be a big hit on social media.
The retailer, famed for its trendy apparel, accessories, and footwear, may just have added a new crowd-pleaser to its collection.
The stylish Green Bandage Sleeveless Bardot Midi Dress, retailing for €63, boasts a form-fitting, sleeveless cut, an elegant bardot neckline, convenient zip closure, midi length and a stylish split hem.
River Island suggests machine washing the dress at 30°C but recommends ironing it inside out and avoiding bleaching, dry cleaning or tumble drying.
Injecting some fashion-envy into Instagram feeds, River Island flaunted the in-demand green number in a video which swiftly gathered over 1,000 likes and a flurry of comments from eager shoppers, reports the Mirror
River Island heralded the return of the Green Bandage Sleeveless Bardot Midi Dresswith an Instagram post caption: "The bandage dress is back.".
Accompanying text over the clip announced: "PSA: Bandage dresses are back and better than ever."
Comments bubbled up beneath the post with one admirer remarking: "I've got this dress, isn't it absolutely amazing."
Another chimed in saying: "It looks stunning on you too," and yet another fan exclaimed: "Yesssss! That colour."
A fourth exclaimed: "How unreal" while a fifth gushed: "I'm so here for it."
Meanwhile, one shopper succinctly admired: "Wowww."
The praise didn't end there, with yet another shopper remarking: "Such a gorgeous shade of green" and someone else hailing the dress as "iconic."
One follower was moved to comment: "gorgeous" with another chiming in: "I'll have one in every colour."
It's noteworthy that some shoppers head to TrustPilot to leave their thoughts about River Island's size offerings, particularly regarding larger sizes which could be a vital tip for online shoppers. A customer advised: "Lovely quality but not great sizing."
One patron shared their experience: "The quality of most clothes I've tried on are good... but the sizing is HUGE! ! I recently bought some new UK size 6 shorts, skirts, jeans and trousers and they slid down my hips and legs! They wouldn't stay on my hips! The dress was huge on me too! I've had to return most of the order (kept the UK size 4 items)."
