101 young leaders at JCI convention

Published on: Mon, May 19, 2025 Text Size: The members in a group photo. Kota Kinabalu: Some 101 young leaders locally and abroad attended the 2025 JCI Malaysia Area Sabah Convention, recently. The convention opened here and then moved to Keningau, where delegates immersed themselves in a variety of impactful programs designed to foster leaderships, connection and community engagement.
Advertisement Participants attended key events such as the Area Team Meeting, the JCI Vice President Reception and Dialogue and the Growth & Development Roundtable, offering members unique opportunities to learn from the past leaders and shape the future direction of JCI in Sabah. In addition, the convention offered an engaging mix of activities that nurtured public speaking, critical thinking, and innovation among youth. Competitions such as Parliamentary Quiz, Public Speaking in Malay, English, and Mandarin, the Mandarin Oregon Debate, and the English Debate brought out the best of intellectual and oratory talent. Delegates also expressed their creativity and passion through the Talent Battle and the Mobile Legends E-Sports Competition, both of which the crowd favorites.
