Brit in Benidorm reveals £4.50 breakfast and pint combo is 'one of the best'
Benidorm is known for its beaches, lively nightlife and reasonable prices, with hundreds of thousands of Brits flocking there each year. One holidaymaker, Grumet White, often shares his favourite finds and tips for the popular destination on social media, @benidorm_grumet1. He recently revealed, in a TikTok video, a bargain breakfast in the area that most Brits would struggle to pass by. Uncle Ron's, which is located in the heart of the holiday hotspot, offers a full English breakfast and a pint for less than a fiver. For just £4.50, visitors will be served a hearty meal including bacon, eggs and sausages, as well as a pint of lager. For those wanting to skip breakfast, Uncle Ron's also offers pints for just €1, the equivalent to around 80p. In the video, Grumet said: 'Here we are, the most famous bar in Benidorm for an 83p pint. You just couldn't make that up could you?' The holidaymaker is a big fan of the area and in a separate interview was keen to express his fondness for his favourite bar. 'We have been going to Uncle Ron's for years,' Grumet said. He described the breakfast deal as 'one of the best' and gushed over the value for money Uncle Ron's offers. 'The breakfast is one of the best in Benidorm, to be fair,' he added. 'If I go to McDonald's, it would cost more than a family of four in Uncle Ron's.' Though the prices may be low, Grumet stressed the quality is good too. He said: 'It's not that, it's just really cheap - it's nice too.' The video attracted over 100,000 views, thousands of likes and hordes of comments. One user said: 'Decent breakfasts to be honest.. especially for the price.' Another commented: 'Brekie and a pint under a fiver is right, be rude not to.' Someone else added: 'Great place.' However, not everyone was a fan of the deal.

'I ordered pint with my full English in Benidorm – the price will blow you away'
The cost of beer has got pretty steep here in Scotland – but have you ever wondered how much you could expect to pay for a pint in Benidorm? One man has revealed all The average cost of a pint of beer has soared past £5 in the UK for the first time ever – and it's a whopping £5.50 to get the amber nectar in Edinburgh. Thankfully though, you can still find plenty of affordable drinks when you jet off abroad. But if you're in Benidorm, you can even get breakfast thrown in for a super affordable price. A tourist called Grumet White showed just how cheap it is to get a fry-up in the holiday hotspot. And you can even get an alcohol beverage thrown into the mix! He headed to Uncle Ron's to redeem the jaw-dropping deal and shared his feedback on social media. So would the breakfast and beer actually taste good? Grumet said: "We have been going to Uncle Ron's for years. The breakfast is one of the best in Benidorm, to be fair. If I go to McDonald's, it would cost more than a family of four in Uncle Ron's. It's not that, it's just really cheap - it's nice too." The short clip has been viewed more than 62,000 times and liked by a few hundred fans of the budget breakfast spot. One viewer praised the offer, writing: "Decent breakfasts to be honest.. especially for the price." Another added: "Brekkie and a pint under a fiver is right, be rude not to." A third praised the establishment, adding: "Great place." Not everyone is convinced by the deal though – as one person pointed out it was a definite "no" from them. One viewer wrote: "State of it." Meanwhile, another fumed: "To sit in a non-air-conditioned garage conversion… No thanks." Benidorm is a major tourist destination, especially popular with British and European holidaymakers. Many bars and restaurants compete fiercely for customers, leading to low prices and special offers to attract crowds. Prices also tend to be so cheap because Spain produces a lot of its own beer, reducing import costs. Local brands like San Miguel, Mahou, and Estrella Damm are widely available and inexpensive. What's more, alcohol taxes in Spain are generally lower than in countries like the UK or Scandinavia, making beer cheaper at the point of sale.
