The Anatomy of Gigi Hadid's Style
Gigi Hadid, by profession, is a chameleon. Whether she's walking a runway or starring in a global fashion campaign, she's always ready to step into character and help bring a designer's vision to life. But while her job is to be a blank canvas, Hadid's off-duty style is bold, bright, and totally singular. While we can always count on her to wear something colorful, classic model style serves as the base of Hadid's wardrobe. White tees and jeans are often the jumping-off point, elevated with stacks of charm necklaces or brightly hued sweaters. (It certainly helps that her cashmere brand, Guest in Residence, is at her disposal, there to liven up any look.) Over her many years in the public eye, Hadid's fashion sense has stayed largely consistent: eclectic and fun-loving—a mix of supermodel and California kid. In Elements of Style, we're distilling a celebrity's fashion sense into its most basic components. Here, we break down the five key pieces in Gigi Hadid's closet. Sumptuous Knits It comes as no surprise that a woman with a cashmere line wears a lot of knitwear. Whether she's in a trendy robe coat or a tried-and-true pullover, Hadid's wide-reaching knitwear collection infuses plenty of color into her wardrobe. What: Guest in Residence (duh), Erika Maish x Copycats Where: Out and about in New York, a Guest in Residence pop-up in Seoul, Los Angeles store opening Wear it with: A bucket hat, a fuzzy miniskirt, loafers, Uggs Leather Jackets An eternal closet staple, Hadid has a leather jacket for every occasion. Blazers, bikers, bombers—you name it, she's got it. What: Acne Studios, Holzweiler, Worn Vintage Where: A romantic London stroll, Paris Fashion Week, Brooklyn Wear it with: Cashmere pants, Taylor Swift merch, slip-on Uggs, a white T-shirt Statement-Making Headwear As any good model knows, sun protection is key. While Hadid is fond of trucker caps (from her Disneyland Paris hat to her Rebalance), she's also been known to venture into the bold. See: the fuzzy, canary yellow bucket hat she paired with a matching cozy jacket. What: Rebalance, Tag Heuer x Kith, a Yankees cap Where: An ice cream run, Bradley Cooper's Philly cheesesteak truck, a fuzzy coat

Gigi Hadid's latest cashmere launch inspired by New York
DUBAI: US Palestinian Dutch supermodel and brand founder Gigi Hadid has released her latest collection — and a new summer campaign — under her cashmere label Guest in Residence. The new line was inspired by New York, according to Hadid, who founded her brand in 2022. A post shared by Gigi Hadid (@gigihadid) 'I'm endlessly inspired by New York City — a place I've called home for many years — and the notion that we're all guests here. For our collection, we embrace the great duality every New Yorker faces in Summer: the thrill of a busy day in the city, paired with the urge to hop in a car with friends and escape to somewhere quiet and laid-back. No matter where you find yourself, our cashmere pieces embrace a spirit of timelessness that always works,' Hadid is quoted as saying on the Guest in Residence Instagram page. The launch was complemented by a video campaign shared on social media, in which Hadid is joined by fellow models as they explore New York in the summer. Paolo Santosuosso acted as the campaign's art director, while the looks were styled by Elizabeth Fraser-Bell. Hadid launched her clothing label, which features soft, colorful knitwear, in September 2022. A post shared by GUEST IN RESIDENCE (@guestinresidence) 'Over the last handful of years, I didn't want to be backed into starting my own line just because there was an offer on the table or a deal to be made,' she wrote to her followers on Instagram at the time. 'The earliest days of Guest in Residence came about when I started to question the cashmere market, and those answers gave me a path,' she added. 'I believe that because of its sustainable qualities — natural and made to cherish and to pass down — cashmere is a luxury that should be more accessible.' Celebrities including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Swift and Bradley Cooper have been spotted wearing the label's designs. In June, Hadid also unveiled a new campaign with Brazilian footwear brand Havaianas. The model, who launched a line with the flip flop label, starred in a vintage-inspired series of photographs. In the shots, she shows off slippers from her collection with the brand and is seen wearing retro outfits on a beach.

Gigi Hadid announces Moon Boot collaboration for footwear range
Gigi Hadid is launching her own shoe collaboration with Moon Boot. The 30-year-old supermodel has worked with the brand on her own footwear collection - featuring everything from the company's signature boot style, to a slip-on mule - as part of a partnership with her Guest in Residence label, which she founded back in 2022. She told Women's Wear Daily: "I have loved my Moon Boots for as long as I can remember. The styles that I chose to work with for this project all reflect things that I would wear. "The classic Moon Boot shape is the first style I wore from the brand, and the slides are all 'very me.' "I think I'm going to wear them so much, just in life in New York, and as an on-the-go mom, this winter.' She took Inspiration for the design from Guest In Residence's upcoming pre-spring 2026 collection, which will be unveiled two weeks before the Moon Boot launch. She said: "When I design, I like to create a world around a character I want to become. 'So, for pre-spring, we built the season's collection around the idea of a cozy cabin in the woods. "It's supposed to feel really nostalgic through the different textures and patterns that come from being in that environment." Gigi hinted that fans of Guest in Residence can expect plenty more collaborations in the future. She said: 'Collabs are an amazing way for us to reach a new audience and to just tickle a new part of the brain for our customers. 'Especially since we are committed to working with one material, through cashmere and knitwear, so collaborations kind of force us to think of a new way to use that material, which is always fun.' The Moon Boot range will launch in Guest In Residence's stores in New York and Los Angeles on November 14.
