Is it worth watching Akshay Kumar-Abhishek Bachchan's Housefull 5B after 5A? The only difference is…
Housefull 5, released on 6th June, 2025, features large stellar star cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.
Meanwhile, the makers have strategically released it in two different formats, which is A and B. We are going to tell you whether you should watch the B version after completing its A part, or not. Housefull Series Continues Its Cringefest
As per the reviews, this film is just another example of why you should not touch iconic franchises and let it rest forever, because after its second installment, this franchise has presented nothing except ample amount of cringe jokes and piss poor writing, handled by Farhad Samji who can now apply to enter his name in Guiness Book of World Records for making films pathetic. The entire film offers you nothing except sleazy jokes and a male-centered environment where female actresses were only kept for objectifying their body parts, which the writer thinks will make the audience sit and watch.
This multi-starrer project is a complete waste of opportunity and a lesson for other filmmakers, because here, captain of this ship, Tarun Mansukhani , has tried to fit every actor in any scene without logic, which underutilized their actual potential. This film tries hard to make us laugh with its jokes and sequences, but fails. However, Akshay Kumar, Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt tried hard to bring their old comic avatar back on the big screen, but due to a lack of writing and delivery, it always bounced back. The Difference between 5A and 5B
There is no difference between the parts, except the last 8 minutes. In Part A, killers are someone else, while in Part B, just to show the potential of an actress, makers have made another actor a killer. If you have already watched part A, then you don't need to witness this cringefest again; you can wait for its OTT release. At last, we just want to say that Bollywood should now learn from their mistakes because it's high time to prove the potential otherwise due to these kind of films and their ventures, we don't witness finest and best comedy-drama films.
