In the early 2000s, Reshammiya had voiced several hit songs featuring the Murder actor, including Jhalak Dikhlaja and Aashiq Banaya Aapne. Now, the film has gained a new cast member, Abhishek Singh. He will feature alongside Hashmi, Aparshakti Khurana and Genelia Deshmukh in the project. The movie is directed by Aditya Datt, who is best known for Aashiq Banaya Aapne and Table No. 21.
