Coldplay and the chaos of Astronomer's CEO Andy Byron and CPO Kristin Cabot: Everything that happened
Coldplay , the rock band, is known to savour adorable memories, sing aloud, and possibly tear up a bit during the emotional songs. However, one such clip from the concert, which sparked conversations, laughter, accusations, and so much more, of the CEO of Astronomer, Andy Byron and the Chief People Officer (HR Department), Kristin Cabot, has been going viral on social media (for all the wrong reasons). What happened? On July 16, 2025, Coldplay held a concert as part of their 'Music of the Spheres' tour in Gillette Stadium, Boston. As a part of their immersive experience, the band has many traditions, which include confetti, one-to-one talks with concertgoers, wristbands, moon goggles, and more. One of which is 'The Jumbotron song,' where Martin converses and sings about the people with live lyrics. During the 'Kiss Cam' moment, the camera panned towards a middle-aged couple, who had their arms wrapped around. Initially, Martin, who was in awe, introduced them by saying, 'Whoa, look at these two.' However, in a split second, the woman turned around and tried to go out of the frame, while the man tried to bend down and hide behind the glass barricade. Martin quipped, 'Either they're having an affair or they're just really shy." 'Oh s–t, I hope we didn't do something bad,' he added. Turns out, the man, Andy Byron, held the position of CEO, while the woman, Kristin Cabot, held the position of Chief People Officer (Head of HR Department). Chris Martin confirms whether the couple was 'legitimate' A couple of moments later, a young couple is displayed on the Jumbotron. Chris asked, 'OK, now listen, are you two a couple? Are you two a legitimate couple?' The audience quickly shared a laugh; however, the couple did not respond immediately, which made the singer confused. The couple was staring at the singer, and the 48-year-old asked whether they understood English. No reaction at all, even after Martin tried to communicate in Spanish. 'Ok, I'm just going to risk it,' the 'Yellow' singer said. After Chris asked if they could hear him, the man finally responded with a thumbs-up. The interaction has been getting a lot of views on social media as well. The Aftermath As the clip went viral, Byron and Cabot were scrutinised by a good share of netizens, who were concerned about their respective family members. A user quickly shared that Byron's wife, Megan Kerrigan, had removed his surname from her Facebook account's profile name, which was some time before she entirely deactivated her account. Kerrigan is an accomplished educator in Massachusetts, who is working as an Associate Director of the Lower School and Admissions for the Hope Graham Program at the Bancroft School in Worcester, according to her profile. A letter to the netizens While the entire internet was busy sharing memes and chuckles, a certain viral statement circulated on social media that quickly grabbed the attention. Allegedly signed by Andy Byron, the letter had an apology to his family and employees. While the statement said that he would like to take accountability and privacy in the matter, it further said that his private moments were made public without his consent, which enraged many users. However, TMZ has confirmed that Andy Byron has not made any statement as of now, nor has Kristin Cabot. Who are Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot? Andy Byron has been the CEO of Astronomer since July 2023, according to his LinkedIn profile. The 50-year-old is married to Megan Herrigan, with whom he shares two kids. Meanwhile, Kristin Cabot joined the tech company, Astronomer, in November 2024, as a part of the HR Department that looks after ethics. She was previously married to Kenneth C. Thornby; however, they finalised their divorce in 2022 after filing it in 2018.

Coldplay's Chris Martin asks a couple whether they are 'legitimate' amid the Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and CPO Kristin Cabot scandal
Coldplay 's front man, Chris Martin , seems to have his mind blown after Andy Byron , the CEO of Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the Chief People Officer (HR Department), were accidentally exposed for having an alleged affair during the 'Kiss Cam' section of the concert. Well, the distress runs deep as he genuinely asked another couple if they were 'legitimate.' Chris Martin asked whether the couple was legitimate In the now-viral clip on the internet, Martin was performing with a guitar in his hand at the Gillette Stadium in Boston during the 'Music of the Spheres World Tour' concert. When a young couple was displayed on the jumbotron, the 48-year-old said, 'OK, now listen, are you two a couple? Are you two a legitimate couple?' The audience erupted in laughter, recalling the chaotic seconds that changed the lives of the previous couple who ducked. Later, when the young couple, who had their arms wrapped around each other, looked confused and didn't respond to Martin's question, the 'Yellow' singer asked, 'Do you understand English?' The British singer then proceeded to speak in Spanish, but when they did not react at all and stared at him…he joked, 'Ok, I'm just going to risk it.' After asking them one more time if they could hear him, the man gave a thumbs-up, and the musician later sang 'Fix You.' Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot A couple of minutes earlier, Chris was handling the 'Kiss Cam' segment, which has been a tradition during the shows. However, when the camera panned towards a middle-aged couple, the woman decided to quickly turn around as a reflex, and the man decided to hide behind the glass barricade. The confused singer prompted, 'Either they're having an affair or they're just really shy." 'Oh s–t, I hope we didn't do something bad,' he added, and they turned out to be CEO and CPO of the company. The clip went massively viral on social media and caused a conversation about workplace professionalism. However, some of them mocked the couple, while some felt bad for their respective families.

Scammers Are Out To Ruin Your Vacation- Here's How To Stop Them
Young woman on the beach phoning the bank for credit card support getty It is July and many of us are happily looking forward to the summer vacations that we look forward to all year, however, scammers are looking forward to scamming us with a variety of scams that can ruin your vacation.. Here are some common vacation scams to avoid. HR Department Email This scam starts with an email that appears to come from your company's HR Department luring you to click on a link to submit your request for vacation time. Clicking on the link can either cause you to download dangerous malware that can lead to your becoming a victim of identity theft or luring you into providing your online credentials at work in order to get access to your company's computers and data. How to Avoid Never click on a link or provide personal information in response to an email or text message unless you have confirmed that the communication is legitimate. Scammers use email addresses that may appear to be legitimate, and it is easy for a scammer to make a text message appear as if it is coming from a trusted phone. If you get a communication that appears to come from your HR department, contact them directly through an email or phone number that you know is legitimate. Home Rental Scam Renting vacation homes rather than going to hotels has been increasingly popular in recent years. There are many excellent websites such as VRBO and Homeaway that offer wonderful vacation homes. Many people will also go to Craigslist and other similar sites. These websites can be easy and efficient ways to find a great vacation home. Unfortunately, they are also a great way for scam artists to steal money from unwary people looking for a vacation home. The scam generally starts with a listing that looks quite legitimate and there is a good reason for that. The listing is often a real online listing that has been copied by the scammer who merely inserts his or her name and contact information. The price is usually very low which attracts a lot of potential renters. The potential renters are sometimes told that the owner is out of the country and that there are many people interested in the property so if the tenant wants to be considered for renting it, the tenant has to wire money to the landlord somewhere outside of the country. Wiring money is a preferred method of payment for scammers because it is all but impossible for the victim to get their money back once they realize they have been scammed. How to Avoid There are a number of red flags to look for in vacation home rental scams. First, as always, if the price is too good to be true, it usually is just that - not true. Also be wary of landlords who are out of the country. Never send your payment by a wire transfer, cryptocurrency, Zelle, Venmo or a cashier's check. Use a credit card, PayPal or any other payment system from which you can retrieve your funds if the transaction is fraudulent. It is usually best to deal with websites that specialize in vacation homes, but you must remember that they cannot possibly monitor every listing to ensure that it is legitimate. A simple way to determine if the listing is a scam is to check out who really is the owner by going online to the tax assessor's office of the city or town where the property is located and look up who the real owner is. If it doesn't match the name of the person attempting to rent you the home, you should not go through with the rental. Also Google the name of the owner with the word "scam" next to his or her name and see if anything comes up. Hotel Room Service Some scams are just so simple and effective that they remind us why scam artists are indeed the only criminals we refer to as artists. An old scam that is still being used effectively by scammers involves a flyer under the door to your hotel room that purportedly is an advertisement for a local pizza parlor. The flyer gives a telephone number for the pizza parlor which will conveniently deliver to your room All you need to do is call the number, give them a credit card and they will promptly send you your fresh pizza or other food. Unfortunately, it is a scam. The scammers have gone through the hotel and put their flyers under the doors. They then just wait for the telephone calls and steal your credit card number. How to Avoid A good rule to follow is not to order any food from a restaurant that puts flyers under the door of your hotel or motel room. In regard to the pizza parlor or other restaurant you can confirm online or even with a quick call to the clerk at the front desk as to whether the particular restaurant described in the flyer is legitimate and whether indeed the telephone number is their actual number. Sometimes scammers use the name of a real restaurant, but substitute their own telephone number. Never order or provide your credit card unless you have independently confirmed both that the restaurant is real and the telephone number is accurate.

Eamonn Holmes' ‘wheelchair hits female producer' as GB News bosses launch investigation after set incident
GB News has launched an investigation after Eamonn Holmes' wheelchair 'knocked into a young female producer', according to reports. The television news channel is said to have received a complaint from his colleague after she was 'bruised' in the alleged incident. 5 5 The Mail On Sunday claims Eamonn's chair knocked into the producer after she told the employee pushing him that he could not return to the set. Eamonn, 65, is said to have taken a toilet break but that the cameras for his breakfast show were rolling when he came back. A source told the publication there were "frustrations" during the conversation between the producer and the person pushing Eamonn, but that Eamonn did not do anything wrong. "[Eamonn] is really struggling to move around these days so, as part of the care that GB News are giving him, he will need to be wheeled to the loo if he needs to go during the programme," the source said. "Only this time there was some confusion over whether or not he could go back to his seat as the cameras were going and the show was being aired live." The source added: "There were frustrations over it from some involved and the next thing the woman gets hit and she got a bruise on her leg." The Mail On Sunday reports that GB News' HR department is "looking into the incident". The Sun has contacted Eamonn's rep and GB News for comment. Eamonn, who announced his split with his telly star wife Ruth Langsford in 2024, has been battling a chronic health condition for four years. The former This Morning presenter is now confined to a wheelchair due to intense back pain. Eamonn Holmes reveals injured area after shock fall live on TV His chronic condition began unexpectedly in 2021 and he was rushed to hospital after suffering from "pain he's never felt in his life". Soon, Eamonn was unable to walk without a stick to help him and a spinal operation in 2022 provided little relief. The pain was caused by a dislocated pelvis, which later resulted in Eamonn sustaining three slipped disks. While recovering from surgery, he fell down the stairs at his home in Weybridge, Surrey, and broke his shoulder. A further spine and neck procedure in 2023 also did little to alleviate Eamonn's pain. Last month, Eamonn suffered another nasty injury when he fell off his chair live on his GB News breakfast show. Ruth and Eamonn's relationship timeline Before the shock split announcement, Ruth and Eamonn seemed like one of the strongest couples on UK TV – even with their signature bickering style. Here's how their romance played out... 1997 - The couple first meet after being introduced by mutual friends, two years after Eamonn splits from his first wife, Gabrielle, with whom he has three children. 1997-2002 - To be respectful to Gabrielle, the couple kept their relationship out of the limelight. Ruth told Daily Mail: "I thought it spoke volumes about the sort of man he was, the sort of father he was and the integrity he had. It made me love him more, not less." 2002 - Ruth and Eamonn welcome their son, Jack, to the family. 2005 - Eamonn finalises his divorce with Gabrielle. 2006 - The pair begin to host Friday episodes of This Morning together. 2010 - Eamonn proposes to Ruth while at the Cheltenham Races, after asking Ruth's mother for her hand. June 2010 - Eamonn and Ruth marry at Elvetham Hall, Hampshire. 2016 - Eamonn undergoes a double hip replacement in the first of many health battles. June 2019 - On This Morning, Ruth and Eamonn say the secret to their happy marriage. Eamonn credits "compromise, consideration and lots of conjugal," while Ruth said it was "laughter and an equal marriage". November 2020 - Ruth and Eamonn are replaced on their regular Friday slot by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary in a 'show shake-up'. December 202 1 - After a year of being moved to the bank holiday presenting slot, both Eamonn and Ruth left This Morning. January 2022 - Eamonn debuted on GB News, while Ruth stayed with ITV in her long-standing role on Loose Women. September 2022 - Eamonn undergoes spinal surgery after years of back issues including a trapped sciatic nerve. November 2022 - Eamonn falls down the stairs of his Surrey home with Ruth and breaks his shoulder, requiring a new operation. September 2023 - Eamonn has a spine and neck stretching procedure as part of his year-long recovery. May 2024 - Ruth and Eamonn announce they have split after 14 years of marriage and a 27-year relationship. September 2024 - Eamonn was spotted on a luxury holiday in Barcelona with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander. Ruth calls in a 'fierce' divorce lawyer. The presenter ended up on his back on set and it came just two weeks after he was rushed to hospital in another fall. Incredibly, Eamonn - who is now in a relationship with marriage counsellor Katie Alexander - managed to carry on with the rest of the programme and was described as a "trooper" by his concerned colleagues. At the end of the show, he told viewers: "The chair gave way and I was lying flat on my back with my head hanging off the set. "The first hour or so I was OK because the adrenaline kicked in, but then as the morning went on I felt the aches and pains. "The worst thing is that two weeks ago I was hospitalised for a similar fall in the same area, back of my neck, head and shoulders and that's all come back." He added: "We're going to have to replace the chairs because I'm not the only one to have fallen." Eamonn has since vowed to "redouble his efforts" to walk again in a heartbreaking social media post. 5 5
