Coldplay and the chaos of Astronomer's CEO Andy Byron and CPO Kristin Cabot: Everything that happened
, the rock band, is known to savour adorable memories, sing aloud, and possibly tear up a bit during the emotional songs. However, one such clip from the concert, which sparked conversations, laughter, accusations, and so much more, of the CEO of Astronomer,
Andy Byron
and the Chief People Officer (HR Department), Kristin Cabot, has been going viral on social media (for all the wrong reasons).
What happened?
On July 16, 2025, Coldplay held a concert as part of their 'Music of the Spheres' tour in Gillette Stadium, Boston. As a part of their immersive experience, the band has many traditions, which include confetti, one-to-one talks with concertgoers, wristbands, moon goggles, and more. One of which is 'The Jumbotron song,' where Martin converses and sings about the people with live lyrics.
During the 'Kiss Cam' moment, the camera panned towards a middle-aged couple, who had their arms wrapped around.
Initially, Martin, who was in awe, introduced them by saying, 'Whoa, look at these two.' However, in a split second, the woman turned around and tried to go out of the frame, while the man tried to bend down and hide behind the glass barricade.
Martin quipped, 'Either they're having an affair or they're just really shy." 'Oh s–t, I hope we didn't do something bad,' he added. Turns out, the man, Andy Byron, held the position of CEO, while the woman, Kristin Cabot, held the position of Chief People Officer (Head of HR Department).
Chris Martin
confirms whether the couple was 'legitimate'
A couple of moments later, a young couple is displayed on the Jumbotron. Chris asked, 'OK, now listen, are you two a couple? Are you two a legitimate couple?' The audience quickly shared a laugh; however, the couple did not respond immediately, which made the singer confused. The couple was staring at the singer, and the 48-year-old asked whether they understood English.
No reaction at all, even after Martin tried to communicate in Spanish.
'Ok, I'm just going to risk it,' the 'Yellow' singer said. After Chris asked if they could hear him, the man finally responded with a thumbs-up. The interaction has been getting a lot of views on social media as well.
The Aftermath
As the clip went viral, Byron and Cabot were scrutinised by a good share of netizens, who were concerned about their respective family members. A user quickly shared that Byron's wife, Megan Kerrigan, had removed his surname from her Facebook account's profile name, which was some time before she entirely deactivated her account.
Kerrigan is an accomplished educator in Massachusetts, who is working as an Associate Director of the Lower School and Admissions for the Hope Graham Program at the Bancroft School in Worcester, according to her profile.
A letter to the netizens
While the entire internet was busy sharing memes and chuckles, a certain viral statement circulated on social media that quickly grabbed the attention. Allegedly signed by Andy Byron, the letter had an apology to his family and employees.
While the statement said that he would like to take accountability and privacy in the matter, it further said that his private moments were made public without his consent, which enraged many users.
However, TMZ has confirmed that Andy Byron has not made any statement as of now, nor has Kristin Cabot.
Who are Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot?
Andy Byron has been the CEO of Astronomer since July 2023, according to his LinkedIn profile. The 50-year-old is married to Megan Herrigan, with whom he shares two kids. Meanwhile, Kristin Cabot joined the tech company, Astronomer, in November 2024, as a part of the HR Department that looks after ethics. She was previously married to Kenneth C. Thornby; however, they finalised their divorce in 2022 after filing it in 2018.

Who is Ana de Armas dating? A look at her love life over the years
Ana de Armas' video message to the Jacksonville Jaguars ignited excitement and debate (Getty Images) When fans wonder whether Ana de Armas is currently dating someone, the answer is technically straightforward: she's officially single, but the reality comes with a side of intrigue. While Ana isn't publicly tied to anyone at the moment, recent sightings and cozy appearances alongside Tom Cruise have set the internet ablaze with speculation. Their chemistry is undeniable, but both stars insist it's all about work... for now. Add that to her history of high-profile relationships, and it's easy to see why every new interaction sparks fresh gossip. In short: she's single, but Hollywood's rumor mill is working overtime. Early love chapters Marc Clotet (2010–2013): Ana's first real public relationship. They married in 2011 in Spain, but by early 2013, the union ended amicably. David Victori (2013–2014): A brief relationship with the Spanish screenwriter/ director after her divorce. Kept mostly quiet. Franklin Latt (2015–2016): Private but serious—Ana was reportedly engaged to the talent agent. They split without fanfare. Alejandro Piñeiro Bello (2017–2019): A quieter romance with the Cuban artist and photographer, spanning a couple years. (as per PageSix) The big Hollywood breakup: Ben Affleck (2020–2021) Ana met Ben Affleck on the set of Deep Water in late 2019. Sparks flew, and by March 2020 they were vacationing together in Cuba and clearly public. Their romance made headlines—Ana even moved into Ben's Los Angeles home and met his family. But by January 2021 they split, reportedly due to different life goals (like Ana not wanting to settle in L.A.). Their breakup was described as mutual and respectful. The low-key phase: Paul Boukadakis (2021–2024) Next up was Paul Boukadakis, a Tinder executive. They began dating during the pandemic and kept things private—attending a few public events together, living in NYC—but never went red‑carpet official. Their relationship quietly ended around late 2024. Rumored love: Manuel Anido Cuesta (Late 2024–Early 2025) In November 2024, Ana was photographed kissing Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, during a Madrid outing. The relationship drew controversy, especially among Cuban-American communities. While public appearances continued into early 2025, reports in May suggest they've since parted ways. Current buzz: Tom Cruise (2025) From February 2025 onward, Ana and Tom Cruise began turning heads. First spotted dining in London, they've since been seen in multiple settings: arriving by helicopter, attending events like David Beckham's birthday party, and vacationing on a yacht in Menorca. Despite the romance rumors, sources close to both insist the relationship is professional—anchored around upcoming film collaborations including the thriller Deeper. Still, mutual admiration and frequent private outings have stoked intense speculation. Ana reportedly considers Cruise as an 'incredible mentor' in her own right. Although Ana remains focused on her upcoming projects, insiders say Cruise is genuinely smitten—and their chemistry offscreen only adds fuel to the rumors. Neither has confirmed romance.
