Media Committee: 381 Arab and Foreign Journalists Entered the Country to Cover Baghdad Summit
Baghdad-INA The Media Committee for Baghdad Summit confirmed on Thursday that 381 Arab and foreign journalists entered the country to cover the events of the Arab Summit in Baghdad. It indicated that the Baghdad Summit transcends its Arab character to truly become a summit of global significance. Committee member Haider Majeed told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The press center in Baghdad is witnessing a large turnout from various media outlets, including print, audio, and visual, in addition to electronic media," noting that "this summit transcends its Arab character to truly become a summit of global significance, given the scale of media participation from various countries around the world." He explained that "a special media platform has been launched in coordination with the Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs, and all Iraqi embassies abroad have been directed to provide the necessary facilities for journalists, including granting entry visas quickly and free of charge, in accordance with the directives of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani." He added, "The press center, which began working three days ago, receives journalists around the clock. To date, it has received 381 Arab and foreign journalists who entered the country via Baghdad International Airport. The numbers are expected to increase until Friday evening, ahead of the start of the Arab Summit." He pointed out that "the center is equipped with all technical and logistical services and is fully prepared to receive journalists and cover the summit." He explained that "Al-Sudani visited the press center two days ago and expressed his great interest in the media aspect, given its pivotal role in conveying the details and events of the summit to the world, given that the center is the official platform for all news and information issued by the summit."

The Arab Summit Media Committee Announces the Technical Readiness of the Press Center
Baghdad-INA Haider Majeed, a member of the Arab Summit Media Committee, confirmed on Monday that the press center designated for covering the Arab Summit is fully prepared and fully integrated in all technical aspects. He also indicated that a mechanism has been put in place to receive journalists from foreign and Arab agencies and facilitate their work from the airport to their place of residence. Majeed told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The press center designated for covering the Arab Summit is fully prepared and fully integrated in all technical details. Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani visited the center yesterday and reviewed its readiness and everything journalists need. He added, "There are frequent visits from media delegations to the center, including a delegation from the Arab Broadcasting Union, and we will also receive a media delegation from the League of Arab States." He indicated that "the center contains multiple halls and all the supplies journalists need, including screens, photographs and filming locations, in addition to six studios for live broadcasting, which will be available to all media." "There is a strong desire from all media, whether local, Arab, or international, to cover the summit. Many foreign and Arab agencies have arrived over the past two days, and more delegations will arrive in the coming days, with ongoing coordination with local media," Majeed said.

Baghdad-INA The Media Committee for the upcoming Arab Summit in Baghdad announced on Sunday that it continues its intensive preparations to ensure high standards of media coordination and organization, in a manner that reflects Iraq's growing regional role and importance. The committee confirmed the approval of a comprehensive media plan to cover the ministerial meetings scheduled to take place in Baghdad ahead of the summit. Haider Majeed, a member of the Media Committee, told The Iraqi News Agency-INA that the team overseeing the summit's media strategy is working diligently to deliver a level of organization that reflects Iraq's leadership in the Arab world. He noted that all technical and logistical preparations have been completed for the main press center, which will host local, Arab, and international journalists. The facility offers a fully equipped environment, featuring multipurpose halls, high-speed internet access, and designated spaces for press conferences and side interviews. Majeed also said that supporting teams have been formed from the media offices of the Prime Minister's Office, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, and the Communications and Media Commission. These teams are operating in coordination around the clock to ensure a smooth experience for media personnel working at the press center. The committee has also begun deploying media teams across various venues in Baghdad to provide full coverage of the ministerial meetings held on the sidelines of the summit, supported by coordinated field reporting operations. 'The Media Committee is committed to offering all necessary support and facilities for journalists,' Majeed said, calling on all accredited media organizations to cooperate closely to present a positive image of Iraq and its efforts in hosting a successful summit.
