KUWAIT: Zain Kuwait, the strategic partner of LOYAC, took part in the closing ceremony of the KON Social Entrepreneurship Program's 10th season, hosted by the American University of Kuwait (AUK). The event was attended by students, parents, partners, and academics. During the ceremony, Hamad Al-Musaibeeh, Corporate Relations Department Manager at Zain Kuwait, honored the SweepyTech team, winners of the 'Most Innovative Idea' category, in recognition of their outstanding creativity in presenting solutions to social challenges and utilizing technology and artificial intelligence to serve environmental sustainability goals. The ceremony was joined by LOYAC Board Member Fetouh Al-Dallali. This season was a special milestone, marking ten years since the program's launch by LOYAC in partnership with Babson College in the United States, with Zain's active participation throughout the decade. The program offered a rich training journey over several weeks, featuring interactive workshops, mentoring sessions, and field visits to enhance students' social entrepreneurship skills. Inspired by the iconic Khaleeji Zain 26 logo that captivated fans across the region KUWAIT: Zain Kuwait, the strategic partner of the Kuwait Football Association (KFA), unveiled the refreshed visual identity of the Zain Premier League (Dawri Zain) during the official draw ceremony for the 2025–2026 season. The event was held in the presence of KFA President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, Corporate Relations Department Manager at Zain Kuwait Hamad Al-Musaibeeh, as well as representatives from the KFA, football clubs and the local sports media. The ceremony featured the official reveal of the new league logo, which Zain redesigned to reflect the spirit of Kuwait and its cultural heritage. The logo draws inspiration from the iconic visual identity of the Khaleeji Zain 26 tournament, which Kuwait hosted to great success under Zain's sponsorship at the end of last year. The design incorporates symbolic elements from Kuwait's environment and culture, including desert dunes, the Kuwaiti boom (sailing ship), the camel, the Arabic letter 'Alif' to represent the Arabic language, and the traditional 'iqal' headband, all creatively combined into the shape of the league's emblem. The new phase features the participation of over 300 high school students and aims to equip them with advanced digital skills to enhance their readiness for the future. The orientation session was held at the College of Life Sciences at Kuwait University – Shadadiya campus, with the participation of Hamad Al-Musaibeeh, Corporate Relations Department Manager at Zain Kuwait, who met with students and was briefed on the training plans and new focus areas for this cohort. This phase introduces two main training tracks: one in Cybersecurity and another in Python programming using artificial intelligence technologies. This marks the first time Python with AI is included in the program. Python is one of the world's most widely used programming languages, valued for its versatility and ease of learning, making it an ideal choice for developing students' technical capabilities. The expansion of the initiative builds on the success of previous seasons, with Zain continuing to support quality educational programs that contribute to building a digitally aware generation capable of innovating across various technology and innovation sectors. Kuwait Codes is considered one of the leading educational programs focused on developing students' programming skills in a simplified yet professional manner. It offers a dynamic and engaging learning environment supported by modern training content that keeps pace with the evolving tech landscape. The initiative aims to train 1,000 students during the current year across a variety of technical fields, including app development, website design, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Zain's participation in this initiative is part of its corporate sustainability strategy, which places youth empowerment and digital education at the forefront of its priorities. In partnership with Kuwait News, Kuwait Times, INJAZ Kuwait, V-Thru KUWAIT: Zain announced the kick-off of the sixth season of its Youth Summer Program, one of the company's flagship initiatives under its community strategy to empower the next generation of national talent in the private sector and prepare a creative workforce capable of succeeding and excelling in today's dynamic job market. This year's edition comes in partnership with the Kuwait News media organization, Kuwait Times English daily, INJAZ Kuwait, and for the first time, V-Thru, Kuwait's leading virtual drive-thru platform, offering participants new hands-on training experiences in digital marketing, smart operations, and the logistics sector. The program will host 35 university students from various majors in a one-month journey that combines fieldwork, hands-on training, and workshops focused on personal and professional skills, all within an interactive environment designed to reflect the needs of the fast-evolving digital job market. Commenting on the launch, Hamad Al-Musaibeeh, Corporate Relations Department Manager at Zain Kuwait, said: 'We're proud to launch a new season of our summer program, which has become a highly anticipated annual milestone for ambitious youth. Zain's Summer Program is held under the umbrella of its youth empowerment platform Future University Network (FUN), one of the company's longest-running sustainable initiatives launched in 2008. Hundreds of students have benefited from the program over the years, many of whom later joined Zain's workforce after graduation as full-time employees. In the program's last edition, participants completed over 90 training hours across various fields. The program achieved remarkable success, reflected in the valuable feedback shared by students and Zain's partners, further underscoring the importance of continuing and expanding this initiative to meet the evolving aspirations of future generations.
