Get Paid $2,500 to Eat 'Hangover Food' in Las Vegas—How to Enter

On June 5, 2009, "The Hangover" debuted in theaters. With just a $35 million budget and no big-name stars (at the time), the film wasn't expected to be an enormous hit. But something about the movie just seemed to click with audiences, helping it earn more than $450 million worldwide and eventually earning it two more sequels, too. It also became a de facto advertisement for all the most debaucherous parts of a Las Vegas getaway. And now, in honor of the film's anniversary, is looking to send one lucky fan on the trip of a lifetime to be its Official Hangover Food Tester. "We've all been there … that pounding headache, questionable flashbacks, and a strong craving for something greasy, cheesy, and slightly unhinged. But let's face it, when in Las Vegas, hangovers aren't a possibility—they're practically part of the itinerary," wrote on its giveaway page. As part of the giveaway, the website will fly one person to Las Vegas and cover all the expenses for a weekend stay (worth $2,000), and it will pay them $2,500 to spend their time "recovering from hangovers (real or imaginary—we don't judge) by taste-testing six of Vegas' wildest post-party recovery foods" and reporting back about each one. Those foods include the Hangover Pizza at Slice of Pizza, which is a pizza "filled with double sausage gravy, cheeses, green pepper, yellow onion, potato bacon, and ham," and the Hangover Dog at Haute Doggery, a pork and beef frank with "french fries, cheese sauce, fried egg, pico and bacon bits." There's also the Hangover Tater Kegs at Slater's 50/50, the Hangover Burger at Ellis Island, the Hangover Burrito at Born & Raised, and the Hangover Breakfast at Morning News Las Vegas. In order to apply, you must be 21 or over and be based in the U.S. You must also be willing to taste-test and rate the six hangover dishes on a scale of 1-10. The team noted there is "no actual drinking required—just a big appetite for cheesy, greasy comfort food." You also need to be able to travel before Aug. 31. All you need to do is pop in your details into the simple submission form by June 12 at midnight and keep your fingers crossed to win. The website noted that winners will be notified within five working days after the deadline, and once the winner accepts the trip, they will be given $1,500 to purchase the food they need to eat and rate, and for transportation to each destination. Anything left over, they get to keep. Then, once they complete their taste-testing assignment, they'll receive the extra $1,000. Hopefully, they also come home with all their teeth and no tigers in tow. See the complete rules and apply at

Why Zach Galifianakis keeps his family ‘away' from Hollywood after his rise to fame

'The Hangover' star Zach Galifianakis doesn't mix business and pleasure. Galifianakis, best known for his role as 'Alan' in the comedy blockbuster franchise, said he prefers to keep his family life out of the spotlight since he skyrocketed to stardom. 'I keep show business away from my family,' Galifianakis told People on Sunday. 'I've never wanted my real life and show business to combine. This is my work, and that's why they're not here.' 'I said that when they were younger because I didn't want them to know anything,' Galifianakis joked. Advertisement The two-time Emmy award winner admitted that his kids know the truth about his profession now, but he will still keep his work and family life separate. 'But now they're older, they know that I'm down here promoting this,' Galifianakis told the outlet, referencing his upcoming film 'Lilo & Stitch.' Galifianakis was born in Wilkesboro, North Carolina and owns land, which he calls 'Farmageddon,' nearly sixty miles from where he grew up and went to high school, according to GQ. But farm life seemingly wasn't always easy for the star. 'Lilo & Stitch' returns: Will the remake be well received?

It hasn't always been easy for Disney when the mega Hollywood studio brings back an old classic as a remake to the big screen. Take "Snow White," for example. Controversies overshadowed the adaptation of the animated film for months before its actual cinema release. With "Lilo & Stitch," however, the situation is practically the opposite. First reactions to the revamped story about the little girl Lilo and the dog-like alien Stitch have so far been positive ahead of its cinema release this week. "Pure goosebumps," wrote one fan on social media after seeing the trailer for the live-action adaptation. "Don't mess this up," wrote another. So does it live up to expectations? Director Dean Fleischer Camp has indeed succeeded in creating an original adaptation of the 2002 animated film, which largely sticks to the original story. Unlike the Oscar-nominated original, this time "Lilo & Stitch" features real actors. To start from the beginning: Stitch, a blue, fluffy alien, that loosely resembles as dog, is the result of a failed genetic experiment by a mad alien scientist in another galaxy. He's extremely strong, intelligent and destructive - and is set to be banished. While on the run, Stitch crashes on Earth and meets Lilo (Maia Kealoha). The Hawaiian girl lives alone with her older sister Nani (Sydney Agudong) and, as an outsider, finds a best friend in the chaos-loving alien. Stitch's arrival on Earth causes all sorts of turbulence. The CIA, as well as the alien scientist ("Hangover" star Zach Galifianakis) and an alien agent (Billy Magnussen), are searching for the "monster." A story about the importance of family It quickly becomes clear that there is more to Stitch than just a destructive streak. Over the course of the film, he shows emotions and his good side. From start to finish, "Lilo & Stitch" is a film about the importance of family and, in many places - despite the admittedly somewhat cheesy story - deeply moving. After the death of their parents, Lilo and Nani must learn to come together as a family again. However, Nani struggles with raising her mischievous sister, has many unpaid bills, an empty fridge and faces problems with social services. The situation escalates when she loses her job because of Stitch. Nevertheless, it is precisely this different sort of dog who brings the sisters closer together. As in the animated original, the message is: "Ohana" - the Hawaiian word for family. "Family means that no one gets left behind." Some details have changed when compared to the original, but overall the remake stays close to the first film. For example, Lilo is still a big Elvis fan. But other things are different. The mean alien Captain Gantu, who in the original was supposed to capture Stitch later in the story, does not play a role this time. Instead, the focus is more on the hunt by the scientist and the agent. The two take on human disguises on Earth, whereas in the animated version, they only used wigs and other clothing as camouflage. This leads to some entertaining moments - for example, when the duo, after their transformation, struggle to walk upright on two legs like humans. The 2002 'Lilo&Stitch' film was an Oscar nominee Changes in Disney remakes are not always well received. Many fans were unimpressed by the modern adaptation of "Snow White." Will the new version of "Lilo & Stitch" ultimately have better chances and live up to the success of its 23-year-old predecessor? The 2002 first version by Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders grossed $273 million worldwide on a budget of $80 million, according to industry magazine Variety - and it was also nominated for an Oscar in the Best Animated Feature category. Sequels and series followed. The bar is therefore (once again) high.

Mika Singh reveals Salman Khan loves to call people at 2:30 AM: "And if you don't pick up, he will question..."

Mika Singh , the Punjabi singer whose groove-worthy songs dazzle at parties, spoke about his strong connection with famed actor Salman Khan . While mentioning the brotherhood between them, Mika expressed how Khan's personality changes at night and shared a hilarious incident. Salman Khan's penchant for calling at 2:30 a.m. While Salman Khan is renowned for his generosity, Mika revealed that there are specific hours that wouldn't get you in trouble with him. During the day, when the sun shines the brightest, Salman Khan is apparently not. In an interview with Shubankar Mishra, Mika revealed that Khan has a habit of calling at 2:30 a.m. "He loves calling people at 2:30 am, and if you don't pick up his call, he will say ' ab esa ho gya,'" said Mika as he hinted that Khan questions the friendship if someone misses his phone call. How Mika Singh almost lost his blockbuster song, 'Jumme Ki Raat'? The singer narrated the incident from the days, when Salman Khan was filming 'Kick.' Mika stated, 'I was in Bali, and I got a call from him at night. He tells me that he wants to sing the song 'Hangover', and he starts singing the song on the phone. I thought he sang very well, being Salman Khan because actors usually don't sing well." Singh mimicked Khan and said, 'Ek aur sun!' He continued, 'Following the song, he sang 'Jumme Ki Raat', and I didn't have the heart to tell him. That was supposed to be my song, but obviously nobody was going to tell him that he couldn't sing it. So, I texted Bhushan Kumar and Sajid Nadiadwala, and I told them I knew what was happening…' Well, Mika Singh sang the final version... However, Mika's luck might have been shining, as when Salman asked his nephew for the feedback, he stated that Khan's version was more of a shouting, but Mika's version was soothing, and fit better for the song, he revealed in another interview with The Lallantop. Eventually, Mika's voice was added in the final verison that charts the lists at the parties.

Bradley Cooper's new movie is based on life of huge British comedian – but can you work out who?

BRADLEY Cooper's latest film is inspired by a very unlikely standup comic. The upcoming movie, Is This Thing On?, stars BoJack Horseman's Will Arnett as a newly-divorced man who falls into a career of stand-up while working as a pharmaceutical salesman. 5 5 Hollywood star Bradley Cooper's new film is based on none other than John Bishop. The Liverpudlian favourite got into comedy in 2000 after splitting with his wife Melanie after randomly wandering into a comedy club in Manchester. The shock news was revealed on Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast when comedian Chloe Radcliffe – who plays a stand-up in the film – shared the surprising fact. She said: " Bradley Cooper is directing a movie starring Will Arnett and Laura Dern. Their relationship goes south, they split up, and Will Arnett discovers stand-up comedy. "It is based on the life of John Bishop. I promise you. I think Will and John sat next to each other at a dinner ten years ago and Will heard his story was like, 'That rules, I want to do that someday. "So anyway that's the movie that I just wrapped on…" She continued: "I'm playing the stand-up who like believes in him." The Hangover star Bradley directs and stars as his best friend Alex, while Bishop serves as an executive producer on the film. The impressive cast also includes Ciarán Hinds, former NFL star Peyton Manning, comedian Amy Sedaris and Will and Grace's Sean Hayes along with his husband, Scott Icenogle. Bishop told Graham Norton previously: "So, I'd split up with my wife, it was a Monday night. I had the kids all weekend, and on a Monday I was just depressed, so I thought, 'I'll do something that you can do on your own.' And it was either a comedy club or lap dancing. Iconic clip where Alan from Hangover unexpectedly acquires a random baby "I was 34 coming on to 35 and I was just looking for something to do. I walked up to the door thinking it would be a full comedy club, and the guy on the door said to me, 'It's £4 to get in, but it's free if you put your name down.' "For what?". He said, 'It's an open mic night.' And I genuinely didn't know what that meant. "He said: 'That means you put your name down, and if your name gets called out, you get on stage.' "And because I'd only been to two comedy clubs and it'd always been full, I thought, 'Well, there'll be 200 people. They'll never get to me.' "And, you know, it was four pounds. I was going through a divorce. I thought, 'Well, that's four pounds she's not getting.' "I put my name down, expecting never to be called out, and I walked in and there was seven people in the place, and five of them had put their name down. "I got called out second. If I'd have been called out third, I might have already left. So I got called out second after a Geordie fella doing chicken impressions. "Then he [compere Mick Ferry] called my name, and I walked on stage. I'd never been on a stage. I'd done sales presentations and stuff like that. "I remember the lights in my eyes and saying something about the lights being bright, and then I thought, 'What am I doing here? This is just ridiculous.' Like, I'd never thought of doing this. "Then I thought, 'Well, what's my choice? I'm going to go home to an empty house, not living with the woman I want to live with, not living with my kids. I'll just go home to a bottle of wine, and what have I got to lose? There's only seven people here and one of them thinks he's a chicken.' "So I literally started talking. I said some half joke, and then I had nothing to say, I had no joke, so I just went, 'I'm getting divorced.' And I started talking about getting divorced. "In comedy clubs, when your time's up, there's a red light that flashes, I didn't even know that. So I remember going, 'Oh, your light's broke,' and I just carried on talking. "I was meant to do seven minutes but because there was no one there they let me carry on. I did about 25 minutes. "When I walked off I remember Mick the compere and the fella who ran the place coming up to me and saying, 'Where have you been doing your stand-up?'" "It's like counselling," admitted Bishop. 5 5 5
