Why Zach Galifianakis keeps his family ‘away' from Hollywood after his rise to fame
Galifianakis, best known for his role as 'Alan' in the comedy blockbuster franchise, said he prefers to keep his family life out of the spotlight since he skyrocketed to stardom.
'I keep show business away from my family,' Galifianakis told People on Sunday. 'I've never wanted my real life and show business to combine. This is my work, and that's why they're not here.'

'I said that when they were younger because I didn't want them to know anything,' Galifianakis joked.

The two-time Emmy award winner admitted that his kids know the truth about his profession now, but he will still keep his work and family life separate.
'But now they're older, they know that I'm down here promoting this,' Galifianakis told the outlet, referencing his upcoming film 'Lilo & Stitch.'
Galifianakis was born in Wilkesboro, North Carolina and owns land, which he calls 'Farmageddon,' nearly sixty miles from where he grew up and went to high school, according to GQ.
But farm life seemingly wasn't always easy for the star.

How Sharon Osbourne and her kids each paid tribute to Ozzy at funeral procession
Mama, he's coming home. The Osbournes put on a united front as they honored Ozzy Osbourne at his funeral procession in his UK hometown on Wednesday. Sharon Osbourne, her kids Jack, Kelly and Aimee, and her stepson Louis all broke down in tears as they said goodbye to the heavy metal icon alongside thousands of fans in streets of Birmingham, England. 14 Sharon Osbourne surrounded by her family at Ozzy's funeral procession. The former 'America's Got Talent' judge, who was married to Ozzy for 43 years before his death at age 76, had to be consoled by her kids as she laid purple flowers at a memorial during the funeral procession. 14 Sharon Osbourne attends Ozzy Osbourne's funeral procession in Birmingham, England. The pin referenced Ozzy's silver cross pendants that were part of his iconic look. Kelly, 40, sported a pair of round wire-rimmed sunglasses, another one of Ozzy's signature styles. Aimee, 41, for her part, wore a bat broach on her black blazer. The Black Sabbath frontman infamously bit the head off a real bat in 1982, thinking it was a toy animal, during a concert. 14 Kelly Osbourne wears round sunglasses to Ozzy's funeral procession. 'He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis.' Ozzy, who was suffering from Parkinson's diagnosis and other ailments, made his funeral wishes clear before he died. 'I do want to make sure it's a celebration, not a mope-fest,' he said in a Dear Ozzy column for The Times of London in 2011. 'I'd also like some pranks: maybe the sound of knocking inside the coffin; or a video of me asking my doctor for a second opinion on his diagnosis of 'death,'' the musician added. 'There'll be no harping on the bad times.' 14 Ozzy Osbourne performs at the 2022 NFL season opening game. Getty Images 14 The Osbournes give the peace sign to fans at Ozzy's funeral procession. 'She's been the rock of this family for decades, and now it's her turn to be held up.' Meanwhile, Kelly broke her silence after Ozzy's passing on her Instagram Stories last Thursday. 'I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had 💔,' the former 'Fashion Police' co-host wrote. The quotes referenced lyrics from Black Sabbath's 'Changes.'

Alison Brie and Dave Franco's Anniversary Tradition Involves a Slightly 'Embarrassing' Rewatch of Their Proposal (Exclusive)
The couple got engaged in 2015 during a trip to Big Sur, CaliforniaNEED TO KNOW Alison Brie and Dave Franco revealed in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE that their wedding anniversary tradition involves a slightly "embarrassing" rewatch of their proposal Only Franco has the proposal video on his phone, he says, because "I know she'll send it to everyone she knows, and it's very embarrassing for me" The couple got engaged in 2015 during a trip to Big Sur, California, and married in 2017Dave Franco and Alison Brie celebrate their wedding anniversary each year with a little stroll down memory lane. During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere of their new film Together, the couple, who married in 2017, revealed that their anniversary tradition involves a slightly "embarrassing" rewatch of their proposal. Only, there is a bit of a catch. Franco, 40, has a video of the proposal on his phone — but Allison, 42, does not. "I don't have any ownership," she says, prompting Franco to explain, "I know she'll send it to everyone she knows, and it's very embarrassing for me." Instead, Franco lets Brie watch the video just once a year — on their anniversary. As for why the video is embarrassing for Franco, the pair comically detailed to PEOPLE how the proposal didn't go quite as planned. At the time, they were set to take a trip to Big Sur, California — one of their "favorite places on Earth" — and Franco decided it would be the ideal time to propose. However, he didn't have a ring yet because he knew Brie wanted to choose it with him and have their friend, jewelry designer Irene Neuwirth, make it. "So the day before we left for Big Sur, I was like, 'You know what? I should have a placeholder ring, just to have something to put on her finger.' So I went to this antique store down the street from us and I got what I thought was a really cool old ring," Franco recalls. "I was like, 'Okay, I don't have the actual ring, but I have the mask.' And that's going to be this sweet thing where she's going to realize, I kept this mask from the first time we met, which kind of proves, this was love at first sight," he continues, referring to a silver Zorro mask that Brie was wearing when they met while celebrating Mardi Gras in New Orleans, in 2011. As Franco prepared to pop the question in Big Sur in August 2015, he took Brie to a spot with a stunning view and told her he wanted to take her photo. Related: "So I set up a video, she's looking out at the view. She turns around, I'm on one knee, I'm wearing the mask, I got the antique ring, the placeholder ring," Franco recounts. But his sweet gesture fell flat when Brie failed to grasp the significance of the mask. "I have no memory of this mask," the Community star tells PEOPLE. "I mean, I remember it from the weekend, but I had no idea he had kept it all the time." The antique ring, meanwhile, was not in a ring box, but rather in a big box with "a paper napkin from a convenience store," Brie notes. Needless to say, it wasn't the perfectly romantic moment that Franco had envisioned. "What she sees is, I'm wearing this stupid Zorro mask and holding up this janky ring," the Neighbors actor recalls. "He just says, 'Will you marry me?' And I go, 'Huh?' " Brie continues. "I started laughing." Amid all this, Franco is desperately trying to make Brie understand why he was wearing the mask and that a proper ring was forthcoming. "And then I let out an exuberant, 'Yes,' " Brie recalls. "The whole time he's explaining, 'I kept this mask all these years because I knew that you were the one.' I'm like, 'But are you being serious?' I'm looking at this janky ring in this box and he's like, 'Irene is going to make your ring,' and I go, 'Yes!' " The couple went on to marry in an intimate ceremony in 2017. Brie later shared during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that her favorite moment from the wedding was the vows. "We wrote our own and didn't know what the other person was going to say," she said at the time. "It's funny to hear them out loud and you feel like, 'We said all the same things that we want to be for each other.' That was very sweet." Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Months after tying the knot with Franco, Brie shared a little insight into their life together as a married couple. "Something about being married made me feel so settled, almost more free, I guess, rather than like trapped," she told PEOPLE in November 2017. "It's great. So now, let's go do whatever we want. Onward and upward." Together is in theaters now. Read the original article on People

Oprah Winfrey accused of closing her private Hawaii road during Tsunami evacuation
Oprah Winfrey's rep is shutting down rumors. A spokesperson for the philanthropist, 71, denied accusations that she kept the private road that runs through her estate in Maui closed as locals tried to escape following a Hawaii tsunami warning. 'As soon as we heard the tsunami warnings, we contacted local law enforcement and FEMA to ensure the road was opened,' Winfrey's spokesperson told People on Wednesday. 'Any other reports are otherwise false.' 9 Oprah Winfrey in New York City. The Maui Police Department confirmed Winfrey's cooperation as well, writing in a statement, 'Oprah's road is open to get Upcountry.' 9 An aerial view of Oprah Winfrey's Maui home. © New York Post The Hawaiian island is also home to Woody Harrelson, Jeff Bezos and Owen Wilson. AP According to CNN, another tsunami wave, over 5-feet high, was recorded in Kahului, while a 4.5-foot wave hit Hilo in Hawaii County. 'A tsunami is not just one wave,' he said, per the Associated Press. 'It's a series of powerful waves over a long period of time.' 9 Oprah and The Rock donate to Maui after the wildfires. Instagram/Oprah 'Tsunamis cross the ocean at hundreds of miles an hour — as fast as a jet airplane — in deep water. But when they get close to the shore, they slow down and start to pile up. Snider added, 'In this case, because of the Earth basically sending out these huge ripples of water across the ocean, they're going to be moving back and forth for quite a while.'
